While France is known for the rich culture in their cityscape, some travelers just want to unplug from the bustle of the metropolis. Les Alicourts Resort Tree Houses in Pierrefit sur Sauldre France is an unique, yet perfect little place to immerse in nature, while still enjoying the flare and culture of Parisian life.
Situated on 30 acres of preserved forest, the resort includes eight crafted tree houses that are built 3.50 to 7.50 meters from the ground. These aren’t your standard Dennis-the-Menace type small tree-houses – the suites can host up to six people in one space.
The tree houses also exercise their Eco-friendliness, having ecological toilets and garden furniture. If you’re not too keen spending your entire stay outdoors, not to worry. The resort offers washing facilities and other suites in the main building.
While the main building is open all-year round, the tree houses are only available during specified peak seasons. It’s the perfect place to take a brief break from the usual humdrum of city life.
