Secret Sleeping Quarters of Cabin Crews

The sleeping quarters of the flight attendants.

The sleeping quarters of the flight attendants.

The life of a flight attendant can get pretty hectic. Between working short and long-haul flights, they also have to deal with fighting jet-lag and working odd hours. How they manage to stay fresh and awake during those flights has always been a mystery, until now!

Several airlines are giving the public a little peak to how cabin crews sneak in a little shut-eye during their shifts. While passengers amongst the economy class struggle in their quest for comfort, flight attendants are sneaking into crawl spaces known as rest spots. These secret compartments are hidden away from the main passenger cabins. In fact, passengers would be hard pressed to find where these rest spots are located!

These rest spots are secretly tucked away from any passenger's sight!

Planes definitely take full advantage of their space, as a majority of these spots can be found wherever free space is available (e.g. compartments on the top, side, or rear of the plane). While the actual space is quite tiny, they’re still pretty comfy digs. With some airlines even offering pajamas, blankets, and in-flight entertainment for some crew members.

Not a bad set-up!
