Every trip to Las Vegas is a different. Regardless of the lively party scene that seems to be a permanent fixture, there is always something new to check out! This year, Sin City’s got a few new and exciting things in store. Make sure to check it out!
Shopaholics will surely get their fill of retail therapy with this new shopping center. Located along the crossroads of Las Vegas Boulevard South and Flamingo Road, the Grand Bazaar Shops will open this year, putting a unique spin on the retail experience.
With a harmonious balance between contemporary design and the inspiration of distinct outdoor shops (such as London’s Portobello Road, Seattle’s Pike Place Market, and of course, Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar), the Grand Bazaar Shops along the strip allows guests to shop til’ they drop, while admiring its beautiful architecture.
Las Vegas has its fair share of shows, music concerts, and events. However, this summer, there will be no shortage of entertainment with the City of Rock!
MGM Resorts and Cirque du Soleil have teamed up together to create an open-air concert venue for the heavily anticipated Rock in Rio Music Festival taking place later this May.
The expansive 33-acre entertainment center holds over 88 000 guests and 5 stages. Though it is fittingly named “City of Rock” for the festival, it will remain a permanent fixture amongst the Las Vegas Strip, going beyond music festivals.
Though this is big news for Las Vegas, the developments of this significantly large project seem to be fairly hush-hush.
While a lot of the notable Las Vegas strip hotels have undergone extensive restoration and renovations, the Resorts World Las Vegas would be the newest resort to come to the strip since the opening of the Cosmopolitan in 2010. The strip is eagerly awaiting visible movement of the project. However, the projected completion of this new resort would come a bit later in 2016.
We think it will definitely be worth the wait!
