A short and sweet trip to Las Vegas

There’s a reason for why Las Vegas is dubbed as “Sin City.” The notable entertainment strip is brimming with bars, clubs and casinos, making it a great place for those looking to party from sunrise to sunset! However, this lively entertainment district has a plethora of things to offer that move beyond the usual party scene.

Here's a little glimpse of the many different things you can discover in one of the city’s most popular hotels:

Our team member, Susan just returned from a whirlwind trip around this vivacious destination. If you’re looking for a completely different Las Vegas experience and have a few days to treat yourself with travel, then look no further than this wonderful buzzing city.

If you haven’t been to Vegas in years, my suggestion is to try it again! I blown away with the new hotel enhancements, variety of entertainment, sumptuous food and range of activities that this destination offers.

This is the perfect getaway for those looking for a short and sweet escape. But don’t be fooled; even a 3 or 4 night stay can be a complete overload of the senses (and I mean that in a good way)!

One way to view this strip at a glance is with a helicopter tour with Maverick Helicopters. Here’s a little snippet of what you could expect when you indulge in this breathtaking experience!

This city is as flavourful as it is vibrant. Aside from the swanky rooftop bars and opulent cocktails, travellers can also sample a wide range of gastronomical delights, from Planet Hollywood, or the finest Italian delicacies with Gaida’s at the Cromwell.

If you’re short on time but are looking for the ultimate culinary experience, make sure to book a food tour with a local company called Lip Smacking Foodie Tours, which will have you savour the strip one restaurant at a time with stops at several restaurants. I find this is the perfect way to get to know Vegas in a few hours.

Hotels on the strip are slick, colourful, and vibrant. Yes, you can gamble, but with the amount dining options, bars, lounges, shopping and shows, you will be pleasantly surprised with the different types of activities you can experience under one roof. Las Vegas is a mecca for shows and  award winning entertainment like Cirque du Soleil, the Blue Man Group, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and more.

And if you’re looking to immerse yourself in a little bit of Las Vegas culture and history, make sure to check out old Vegas at the Golden Nugget and Freemont Experience. Unlike the ultra-modern Las Vegas strip, the charming town of old Vegas is filled with talented buskers, quirky street shows and even adventure experiences like zip lining under the lights.

Sure, Sin City is the hub of the hottest parties, but it also possesses a boundless variety of entertainment, culinary and unique travel experiences.
