IMPECCABLE!
Unique experience, there is no comparison, the best resort, with private beach, swimming pool, gym, several WONDERFUL restaurants, all with exceptional food, there is a part where you can swim with the dolphins, there are things to do at the hotel all day long, night It's themed with a show. The rooms are impeccable, the staff, Edgar and Chicken Little lol. Very very very good! You can go there and just stay there all day and still not be able to do everything!
I will come back again without a shadow of a doubt.
I had been on a girls trip to Hyatt Ziva and it was a bad experience.
Cons:
- Limited food options with only one buffet restaurant for lunch and breakfast.
- Slow service at à la carte restaurants, averaging 3-hour meals.
- Food running out at Buffet stations that were not being filled in.
-Food was tasteless, bland and barely any local fruits.
- Long 3-hour wait time to get rooms.
- Inability to accommodate adjacent rooms despite a single reservation.
- Zero orientation upon arrival, we were shooting in the dark and asked to go to an app.
- Early shuttle departure without available restaurant options to grab a bite before leaving to the airport 5 hours before departure. (Extremely rude rep at the shuttle counter)
- Disconnection between the resort and airways, straining the vacation experience.
- Limited beach area with a thin strip of sand and ocean.
- Excessive algae cleaning multiple times a day, though appreciated, doesn't provide a comfortable beach experience.
- Was not able to get Uber (even though the resort said Uber did come so be prepared)
Pros:
- Big, clean rooms.
- Friendly bar service.
- Friendly and resourceful bellman.
- Taxi available from resort to downtown.
I loved this hotel so much! I stayed at the turquoize side , My butler DIEGO was awesome and did everything to make this trip the best ever!! Food was delicious, the beach was beautiful , all staff were super nice! 10/10 recommend THANK YOU AGAIN FAMILIA!❤️

This resort deserves a scathing review, and if I could assign it zero stars, I would. Rarely do I feel compelled to write reviews, but the service at this establishment was so abysmal that I feel obligated to warn others. My experience was marred by incompetence, disrespect, and even outright hostility. It's unfathomable how they manage to stay in business with such disregard for customer satisfaction. Not only did they exploit patrons who were under the influence, but they also displayed a shocking lack of professionalism when faced with reasonable inquiries about safety concerns. Their behavior was not just disappointing; it was downright appalling. In an industry built on hospitality and customer service, this resort falls egregiously short. It's a shame that a potentially beautiful destination is tarnished by such deplorable management. Prospective guests beware: steer clear of this resort unless you're willing to endure a nightmare of an experience.
Worst resort I have ever stayed at. I always look at reviews and kinda ignore them. However I saw this with my full heart this is the worst resort I have ever stayed at. My family is frequently travelers and out of the hundreds of resorts I stayed at this is the WORST!! The staff is rude and ignorant. I would never spend money to come here. They not only took advantage of people understand the influence but were threatening. I did not once feel safe at this resorts. The beds also had hundreds of bugs, and i know its a tropical climate ,but this is nothing i have seen before. I broke out in bites and hives. I have never once in my life written a review, but this is RIDICULOUS!! Please take lots of consideration before bookie here! I have never experienced stuff like this!!!
Worst experience i ever had a resort!! Arrived March 28th with my family for a friends wedding which we planned since last year and ended having to leave the resort with no refund and top of it all I was charged an additional $580. I told the manager this isn’t write that I has to sign a paper giving the hotel permission and if I didn’t sign they would call the authorities. What could I do I was at there mercy I’m in a foreign country. The hotel management had no compassion or empathy for me or my family. We spent lots of money to go to have to leave on the 1st day due to a verbal altercation with someone who was super intoxicated no telling how much he has to drink. It’s an all inclusive resort I’ve never been treated this way we tried stating our case and the hotel didn’t not want to hear us out. Hyatt Ziva isn’t willing to give me a refund on top of them forcing me to sign and give permission for an additional $580. The management team dropped the ball on customer service and wasn’t willing to let me speak to the manager either. The person looked young and seemed like his ego got in the way. Hyatt Ziva do better show empathy and do the right thing people spend a fortune to go for you to keep our money like that!!!
The resort was immaculately clean, staff were super friendly and helpful, location was awesome, the grounds felt safe and secure, food was above average to excellent, entertainment was enjoyable and amenities were plentiful. We will definitely be going back again soon!
The food is not so great. We had food poisoning. The asian place (Moon gate) is the worst. The taco station outside was good. Wish the kids club clean their toys.

The water and beach at the Ziva are amazing. The staff are so warm, and the food and drinks are delicious. I especially loved that the swim up bar was well stocked so you could order your actual favourite drink instead of the one you usually settle for at an all inclusive.
