We had a great time at Atlantis. We stayed at the Reef which is one of the more secluded properties away from the hustle bustle of Royal. The whole resort is just amazing and you can do lots of things from morning gym/fitness to water sports. The resort beaches are simply stunning. There are lots of options for food, and the staff are super helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very crowded pool area. Nice rooms. Lots of walking.

Nice location located on the iconic Paradise Island.

Airport & transfer service were stellar. Once on property, we were on our own. There was no guidance on where to check in. I literally walked in the lobby & turned in a circle before I figured out where to go. That’s where it started to decline, and fast!

I booked direct with Atlantis based on our previous experience in Dubai. I specifically requested an imperial club room with access to the imperial club lounge. We checked in a few hours ago. We changed and went looking for the imperial club lounge. There is no club. I need Atlantis to explain the bait & switch at this price point. We don’t have a 2 bedroom suite (it was sold out at the time booking) and we don’t have access to a club lounge. I would advise to make other stay accommodations. It’s about to be 6 miserable days with all the ala carte. Seriously missing Sandals/Beaches brand because this was far more expensive with the bare minimum.

Absolutely horrible… this is a hotel that claims to be the best in the world and has rules to equal to a prison. My daughter left their Atlantis Explorer’s club crying, they won’t let her play there because she is 35 months old and not 36. All they cared about was their rule of age and not about making a guest happy - despite having dropped $20,000 in 2 nights at their hotel. The worst possible treatment to a child at a hotel ever… I’m sure they were proud of watching a kid leave a children’s play area

Beautiful beach and pools. Expensive.

Great time except delta airlines is HORRIBLE!!

Bahamians are so friendly and genuinely glad to have us. Highly recommended

Great rooms, we had a two room suit, I believe they even upgraded us to a bigger room. Had everything we would need. Very spacious and comfortable.

One star is too many!
Scam hotel.
Money is simply deducted and the reception is unfriendly and doesn't want to help.

This place is gorgeous and stunning. Words cannot describe.

The pool and water park closed a at 5pm everyday. Which is strange if you’re staying here with kids. What water park closes at 5pm?
Then at night after 7pm good luck finding anything to do with your kids because everything is 18 plus!
They advertise like it’s super kid friendly but in reality it’s not! Definitely need a sitter.
We made reservations at Nobu and once we got there we’re turned away because no kids allowed after 7pm.. lots of families here dressed with nothing to do. The drinks are very high. The buses that take you from different hotels take forever to come and are packed. Then there’s no one monitoring the order in which people come and wait for the bus so people are continuously skipping others who’ve been waiting long periods of times!
We also were given an activities list of things going on and it said March 7th was movie night in the pool for families… they lied. They didn’t even bother letting people know anything so here we are in our swimsuits roaming around the hotel with 3 kids trying to find this movie night!! Then the bus to the cove was 30 min drive.. then another 30 min of waiting just to be picked up to be taken back to the royal.. the fish are cool (sharks, etc) but it’s sad they look sad the turtles look sad.. but yes our first night here and it’s not looking good.. I do want to add in the pros.. the hospitality of the people is amazing .. the people here are kind helpful. The room is nice spacious..I would stay in an Airbnb..

They just don’t cater to families. If you come with kids your vacation ends at 5pm. Pool closes at 5:00 beach closes at 5. No nightly entertainment (unless you’re kid free) all in all the resort seems like a good time but absolutely not for families

Excellent service

The Royal is nice as well compared to the Cove. It is more central with all the amenities right at your doorstep. The rooms are spacious and updated with good views. The Cove is a bit newer so it’s the nicest one but The Royal is great with kids as they can walk down to see the fishes in the lower lobby or walk out to the water park. The casino is right under as well for the thrill seekers! The rooms are not cheap so be prepared to spend a good chunk on your visit!

I stayed here for 3 nights by earning a trip through my workplace. Work covered my stay and provided me with a stipend to purchase food/drink with, though I checked into the pricing out of curiosity. While I had an incredible time overall, I think it was largely thanks to the events my company arranged and people I was travelling with. My review reflects my personal experience solely with the hotel itself.

To start on a positive note, the location is FANTASTIC; I felt very safe on the premises, and the views are gorgeous! The pool areas were busy, but not overcrowded. There were many dining options with good food, despite some being criminally overpriced (looking at you, buffet).

On to the not-so-great. I found that the staff's attitude could be summed up in one word: Unpleasant. While not all of them were bad, it was far too common to be met with a scowl and unimpressed tone versus a smile and friendly demeanor. A number of my coworkers noticed the same thing, so I know it wasn't just me. Very off-putting for someone who is in an unfamiliar country who wants to learn more and converse with locals.

Another not-so-great item was the maintenence. The elevators in the Royal East tower are in dire need of an inspection. On more than one occasion the doors would not open properly on a couple different elevators, and only 3 of the 5 seemed to be active in general. There were a few times I saw MASSIVE lines to use the elevators, so it can't be something they aren't aware of. Elevators aside, the toilet in my room was extremely difficult to flush. The faucet was also very slow to drain. Minor inconveniences, sure, but for the price a guest pays this shouldn't be present.

Speaking of the rooms... Let's talk about cleanliness. There wasn't anything incredibly egregious like smells or crazy amounts of dust like others have mentioned, but the staining on the carpet was worse than I have ever seen anywhere in my life, & I've stayed at probably close to 100+ hotels. Not only that, but the bottoms of my feet were quick to turn black after walking barefoot through the room for only a few minutes. It's clear the staff either don't have the proper equipment to clean the floors, don't take the time to clean them, or a combination of the two.

Overall, for the price they're charging folks, it's just not worth the money. I'm incredibly grateful to my company for the experience, and truly did enjoy my stay, but I suspect I won't be back... Unless someone else is covering the bill 😉

Wonderful and beautiful. Everything was so awesome. We loved the Royal Beach, pool, shops, restaurants and aquarium.

Pro - big, nice sceneries
Con - check in they dont have someone to show you to your room, tips make them happy, didnt know to press button to make beds! Very windy first few nights, can hear ac or ducts keep hitting the wall? Used rest room by Kids waterpark and toilets paper anywhere in any of the stalls! Do I get a discount to stock your restrooms with TP? Atlantis is all about credit card, machine didnt work so was ask to come later to add cc in still doesnt work using room key around resorts. I guess it a good thing we saved $$. Last night room above us was banging something directly above us then hear a female moaning for a few seconds. It was midnight but if you want peaceful sleep this is not the resorts for you unless you are a deep sleeper. Didnt get a thank you or see you again or it was a pleasure. All we got was here’s the bill! 326 usd for 4 nights resorts fee and towels fee. Thank you Atlantis for unforgettable family experience

Very overpriced and not worth the value! 2 or 3 days max and you will see everything it has to offer and most likely go broke doing so. Food is also mediocre and expensive. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.
