The Price Drop Guarantee*

What are the eligibility requirements for the Price Drop Guarantee?
The Price Drop Guarantee is valid up to 30 days before departure, exclusively on new individual bookings of Transat Luxury or Distinction Collection packages booked by September 30, 2016, for travel between December 15, 2016, and April 30, 2017. This offer does not apply to groups, flights, cruise packages, Florida packages, guided tours, Duo packages, à la carte accommodations, packages to Marival Residences Luxury Resort Nuevo Vallarta, Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts, or packages to hotels in Saint Lucia.

How much can you save with the Price Drop Guarantee?
Should a Transat package become available at a lower price, clients may receive a refund of up to $400 per adult. A child may receive a refund of up to $200 – that's 50% of the refund granted to an adult.

To which cases does the Price Drop Guarantee apply?
The Price Drop Guarantee is valid only when the departure city, travel dates, destination, room category and flights are the same as those in the initial booking.

What is the procedure for price adjustment requests?
Once the request is carefully considered and approved, the rate on the original booking is adjusted, and final payment will be required at that time. If the client had already paid in full, then they will be refunded the difference.

Who must I contact to request a price adjustment, and what is the deadline?
Contact the Transat Customer Care Centre at 1-866-322-6649 at least 30 days prior to departure.

Can requests for price adjustments be made more than once before departure?
No. The Price Drop Guarantee may only be applied once, to the same departure date as that in the original booking.

What are the participating hotels?
All hotels featured in Transat's Luxury and Distinction collections. Depending on the hotel, the promotion may apply to a specific room category. A complete list of hotels is available above.

What Are The Eligibility Requirements For The Winter Sun Early Booking Promotion?

The Winter Sun Early Booking promotion applies to new individual bookings of Transat Sun packages made by September 30, 2016, for travel between December 15, 2016, and April 30, 2017. It does not apply to groups, flights, cruise packages, Florida packages, guided tours, Duo packages, à la carte accommodations, packages to Marival Residences Luxury Resort Nuevo Vallarta, Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts, or packages to hotels in Saint Lucia.

Option Plus

What are the eligibility requirements for an upgrade to Option Plus?
As part of the Winter Sun Early Booking promotion, the Option Plus upgrade is offered exclusively on new individual bookings of Luxury or Distinction Collection packages. Packages must be booked by September 30, 2016, for travel between December 15, 2016, and April 30, 2017.

What is the procedure for receiving an upgrade to Option Plus?
Your phone number and email address must be indicated in your file. The Seat Selection Centre will assign a seat for each passenger on file (subject to availability), and the seat selection will be confirmed by email. If your email address is not listed, the seat selection and Option Plus upgrade confirmation will be sent to the email address on file, as only one confirmation per file is sent. You must wait to receive confirmation of your upgrade to Option Plus to benefit from the promotion. If you do not receive it and decide to book Option Plus yourself either by calling Transat or via the website, you will be charged for the upgrade and will not be reimbursed once your original confirmation is received.

What type of seat do I get?
You get a standard seat. If you wish to reserve a 2x2, emergency exit or extra legroom seat, you must pay the difference between a standard seat and the newly selected seat.

What should I do if I have not yet received the confirmation of upgrade to Option Plus?
You should call the Seat Selection Centre at 1-877-872-6728 if you do not receive a confirmation within 14 business days of booking your package.

Changes to Travel Dates

Can changes to travel dates be made with any Transat Sun package?
Yes. With the exception of packages to Marival Residences Luxury Resort Nuevo Vallarta, Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts, as well as packages to hotels in Saint Lucia.

What is the procedure for requests to change travel dates?
All requests to change travel dates must be made to Transat at 1-866-322-6649 or through your travel agent.

Can a date change be requested several times before departure? By when must travel be completed?
If you book by September 30, 2016, you can change your travel dates once, up to three hours before departure. If you book between October 1 and 31, 2016, you can change your travel dates once, up to seven days before departure. In both cases, travel must be completed by October 31, 2017. Changes to travel dates are subject to hotel and flight availability.

What happens if the package price is different for those new travel dates?
If the price for the new travel dates is higher, you must pay the difference between the new price and the price initially paid. No refund will be given should the price for the new travel dates be lower than the original.

If I change my travel dates, can I still benefit from the other advantages of the Winter Sun Early Booking promotion?
If you have booked a Luxury or Distinction Collection package, you can still benefit from Option Plus. However, the Price Drop Guarantee only applies to the original booking.

Future Travel Vouchers

What are the eligibility requirements for future travel vouchers?
If you book a package by September 30, 2016, you will receive a non-transferable future travel voucher of $50 per adult and $25 per child with your e-tickets. This voucher can be used toward any Transat South, Florida or Europe package, flight, guided tour or cruise package, for travel by October 31, 2018.

Is the voucher transferable or refundable for cash?
No. The voucher will be issued in your name and can only be applied to a booking under your name. The voucher has no cash value.

Can the voucher be reissued if lost?
Yes. Once Transat's accounting department verifies its validity, the voucher can be reissued.

The "Win Your Trip For Free" Contest

The "Win Your Trip For Free" contest (the "Contest") is organized by Transat Tours Canada Inc. operating under the name Transat (the "Organizer"). The Contest begins on August 8, 2016 at 00:01, Montreal time (the "Contest Opening Date"), and ends on September 30, 2016, at 23:59, Montreal time (the "Contest Closing Date").

1. Eligibility

The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence by the Contest Opening Date, except for employees, agents and representatives of the Organizer, their subsidiaries, affiliates, affiliated companies, advertising or promotion agencies, the suppliers of material, prizes and services related to this Contest,and anyone with whom these employees, representatives and agents reside.

2. How To Enter

2.1 Purchase necessary
2.1.1 To be entered automatically into the Contest, the contestant (the "Contestant") must purchase a Luxury or Distinction Collection South package from Transat, between August 8 and September 30, 2016, for travel between December 15, 2016 and April 30, 2017.
2.2 The Contestant who has booked his Luxury or Distinction Collection South package is eligible for the weekly Prize (defined below) draw, to be held from August 15, 2016 at 4:00 p.m., Montreal time and October 3, 2016 at 4:00 p.m., Montreal time. Limit of one (1) Contest entry per reservation booking during the Contest period, which is between the Contest Opening Date and Closing Date.
2.3 No purchase necessary
2.3.1 To enter the Contest by email, without purchase, send your full name, home address, home telephone number, age and a 50-word text describing the reasons why you would like to win this Contest. Then simply email to concours.contest@transat.com. Email entries must be received before the Contest Closing date. Only one entry per person per home address is permitted.

3. Prizes

Eight (8) prizes (hereinafter the Prize) shall be awarded.
3.1 The Prizes consist of a booking reimbursement for up to five thousand ($5,000) dollars CDN per file. The purchase will be refunded in the form of payment that the original booking was made.
3.2 In the event that the Prize is won without purchase, one (1) travel certificate worth a maximum of five thousand ($5,000) dollars CDN will be awarded to the Winner by the Contest Organizers.

4. Conditions Attached To The Prizes

4.1 Bookings are subject to the availability of Transat Tours Canada at the time of reservation. The Terms and Conditions of Transat 2016-2017 Sun brochure applies. Customs duties, entry fees and tourist cards, surcharges, insurance charges, personal expenses, personal travel insurance and travel documents are not included in the Prize. The Contest Organizers strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance.
4.2 The Prize offered must be accepted as awarded and is not exchangeable, refundable, transferable or convertible into cash.

5. Draw

5.1 One (1) random draw will be made every week;
A total of eight (8) random draws will be held for all bookings made between the Contest Opening and Closing Dates, as well as all participation forms, letters and bulletins received before the Contest Closing Date.
A draw will take place at 4:00 pm Montreal time every week (excluding the week-end) between August 15, 2016 and October 3, 2016 (inclusively), at the Transat office at 300 Léo Pariseau, Suite 1000, Montreal (Quebec) H2X 4C2.

6. Prize Claim

6.1 In order to be declared a winner, the selected Contestant must:
6.1.1 Be reached by email or by telephone by the Contest Organizer within forty-eight (48) hours of the draw and correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. If the selected entrant cannot be reached by telephone within forty-eight (48) hours from the initial call, all of his or her rights to the Prize shall be forfeited and an alternative entry will be randomly drawn. If the second participant cannot be contacted by telephone or email within forty-eight (48) hours from the initial call, all of his or her rights to the Prize shall be forfeited and an alternative entry will be randomly drawn. If it is impossible to reach the 3rd Participant by telephone or by email within forty-eight (48) hours from the initial call, the Prize shall be deemed forfeited.
6.1.2 Complete and sign a declaration and liability waiver form (hereinafter the Declaration Form) sent by the Contest Organizers and return within 10 working days following its receipt.
6.2 Winners may be announced by October 4, 2016.
6.3 In default of observing any of the conditions mentioned above or any other conditions stipulated in these Rules, the selected Contestant will be disqualified and the Prize that would have been awarded will be forfeited. Upon receipt of the duly completed and signed Declaration Form, the Contest Organizers will contact the winners in order to inform them on how to take possession of their prize.

7. Personal Information

7.1 From time to time, the Organizer, with the Contestant's consent, may use the personal information provided for the purpose of:
7.1.1 Communicating with the winner so he/she can take possession of the Prize;
7.1.2 Communicating with the Contestant directly in relation to goods and services offered by the Organizer, including special offers and information on travel services; and
7.1.3 Conducting a survey regarding the effectiveness of the website, advertising and sales efforts made by the Organizer.
7.2 The Contestant shall indicate whether he/she consents to his/her personal information provided on the entry form being used by checking the box to this effect on the official entry form, or by indicating on the hand-printed entry form and mailing it in. For further information regarding the use of personal information by the Organizer as described in the Policy regarding the protection of personal information and the right to privacy adopted by Transat A.T. Inc. and its affiliates, the Contestant is invited to visit www.airtransat.com and/or www.transat.com.

8. General Conditions

8.1 The Contest Organizer reserves the right to disqualify a Contestant or cancel his/her entry if he/she enters or attempts to enter this Contest in a manner that does not comply with these Rules. This Contestant may be turned over to the appropriate judicial authorities. Any decision of the Contest Organizer regarding this aspect of the Contest is final.
8.2 By entering this Contest, the selected Contestant agrees, without receiving any additional compensation, to the use of his/her name, address, city, province, voice, comments, photographs and/or other likeness for advertising and promotional purposes by the Organizer.
8.3 This Contest is subject to federal, provincial and municipal laws, regulations and by-laws.
8.4 Any forms that are incomplete, received after the Contest Closing Date, lost, irregular in any way or sent by an unauthorized method shall be deemed null and void and will not be accepted for the draw.
8.5 The Contest is administered by the Organizer. The Organizer will assume no responsibility for any problem, failure or technical malfunction of a network line, online computer system, peripheral telephone, software, server, provider, email or browser or any other technical malfunction that may occur, including, but not limited to, a problem of transmission or non-transmission, for any reason whatsoever. The Organizer is not responsible in any way for erroneous or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by the equipment and/or programs associated with or used by the Contest or by a technical or human error that may have occurred in conducting the Contest. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, loss or fault relating to operation or transmission, failure of communication lines, loss or destruction. The Organizer is not responsible for any injuries or damages that may result from the holding of the Contest. The Organizer reserves the right to destroy all the documents pertaining to the Contest once the retention period as required by law has expired. The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or postpone the Contest at any time, without prior notice, if any factor prevents the holding of the Contest pursuant to these Rules or in accordance with any law, regulation, by-law or policy of any entity having jurisdiction over the Organizer.
8.6 By entering the Contest, the Contestant acknowledges having read and understood these Rules and agrees to be bound by them and to comply with them. The Contestant declares that the Rules are understandable and reasonably available for consultation.
