This is the best hotel I have been to. And let me tell you it is better than some in Cancun! The food is incredible. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, everything is so good and the. The restaurants have beautiful themes, creative delicious drinks and the night shows are amazing! The dancer are pros! Love it.
We had an excellent time while at Barcelo Ixtapa, it exceeded our expectations! Staff, food and entertainment were great! Carlos at swim up bar made the best drinks, especially the “banana split”! The staff very friendly and will make their very best efforts to accommodate special requests you might have. We’ll be back! A very big thank you to the WHOLE team at Barcelo Ixtapa!

The location is awesome and the grounds are very nice, the staff was helpful and the hotel was very clean. They gym was sufficient to keep us from falling too far off of our routine. Things to know about all inclusive resorts: if you don't pay for an expensive upgrade the alcohol is very bottom shelf and do understand that while you may find something agreeable to eat at each meal, the food is not five star across the board. The hotel is near an area with better food options, so you may want to venture into town for dinners or top of the line margaritas.
What we liked most is the delicious food and drinks.
The Italian restaurant has its food (the beef petal and the pizza).
Archery with Dany and Yuri is the coolest since they infect us with their good vibes and, above all, Dany is very energetic and helpful.
