We have a 10 month old and a 3 year old and this was the perfect place to go. It was big enough that the kids were never bored, but small enough that it was comfortable. Our girls loved Club Sesame and the ladies took such great care of our kids, it allowed us some adult beach and Gym time, which helped keep us sane. Thank you to the ladies: Janille, Pollyanna, Tanille, Patrice, Keyan, Juline, Kareen and Sherika - you really put our minds at ease that our kids were in your caring hands! XO

Good luck trying to feed young picky children at this place everything closes before dinner time that they would eat at. Basically the whole time you’ll be eating pizza. Very disappointed. Also we thought jerk chicken was white meat. Yeah think again it’s dark meat on a bone. Talk about nasty.

Update: housekeeping really stinks here and I tipped the lady too yet somehow I still had to ask for toiletry items to be refilled. Currently we have tissues for toilet paper. Smfh.

Nice rooms, great beach, shallow water, waters ports were plenty.

Another winner! The staff is warm and everything was wonderful. Highly recommended!

I've never felt more ripped off in my travel life - and I've literally had money stolen off of me traveling. To start, the “Beaches” lounge has third party workers “tag” your bags while they’re in your hands and drop that they’re working for tips. Then you’re handed to someone else to walk you 100 yards to the bus, also asking for tips. Then you’re handed off to the bus driver, also asking for tips, and taking significantly longer to get to the resort than advertised. (I’ve traveled a lot, I’m no stranger to tips for service, but really??) When we finally arrived (with two littles in tow) we were seated and barely greeted, while everyone else got helped before us - no refreshments, no info on what’s happening, etc. When we checked in they gave us no info on the actual resort beyond a map, but thank goodness our guide could point to the microwave and coffee maker to let us know what those were. Then the resort: This resort hasn't been properly updated in probably 20 years. The wooden decks were actually wobbling because 1/3 of the screws were missing. I had two faucets disconnect completely from their wall/sink. There were patches, poorly installed items, etc everywhere. The rooms were so small you couldn't actually lay down a full size suitcase. The cleaning was mediocre at best. There was mold on the pillows, the electric went out numerous times and fried some electronics, the drain didn't work, the toilet had to be constantly fixed by us, just to name a few items. The service ranged from great (a few people!) to a large portion showing absolute disdain at being asked for things like sprinkles on the ice cream (.....in the ice cream shop.). We were never offered pool service, the bar drinks were meh. But WORST of all was the "kids club." I literally booked the trip for this, and it was a joke. Of the two times I took them there: Only 1 of the 6 scheduled/posted "activities" happened. They didn't let me children do the t-shirt painting and then lied and pretended to give me a shirt that they said my son did. (Spoiler: he didn't). They told my kids they couldn't play with the toys. One woman got frustrated with my (almost) 5 year old when he didn't understand something they were telling him. Basically they just put a movie on, ordered chicken nuggets for every meal and avoided any type of work at all. My kids bawled when they saw me come to pick them up. I was disgusted at it. And worst of all, there was no point in complaining because the majority of the service didn't give a hoot. So happy I could pay $8000+ for this and then not be able to utilize things like daily dives, quiet time, or golfing because I wouldn't put my kids through that. This resort and experience should have cost 20% of what it did when it comes to value and what you can get elsewhere. Will never book with Beaches or Sandals again. **Oh, and as for excursions - I called and emailed numerous times beforehand trying to book and didn’t get any response, and then the Rep at the Island Routes counter was snarky to my husband when he mentioned he was waiting for his wife/kids to go to the dolphin excursion because “You’re not on my list. You can’t make it there in time. Who are you going with? Etc....” I don't normally write reviews, I have traveled around the world and had some crazy experiences, but this honestly was just terrible value for your money. Spend it somewhere else.

I want to start by saying I've been to Beaches Turks & Caicos twice pre covid & used those perfect experiences as my measure. Our butler's Nikko and Shanique were out of this world. They were friendly, attentive & helped with everything we needed. Our housekeeping staff was also great. Breakfast buffet good with good service there, but unfortunately that's where the good experience to Beaches Jamaica Negril ended. If you really care about service - then you need to investigate this resort and what it's doing to your reputation. I'm so beyond disappointed. I spent over $26,000 just on logging for 8 people and I will never come here again. Here's just some examples:
We rented a house.
1. Everyday, someone called on the phone to sell us another trip
2. Walking through the resort, you were accosted by the red lane spa and the photography people to get service. Upsell, upsell, upsell.
3. On the beach was worse, I don't know who tried to upsell you more......weed, parasailing or the spa people again. All day every day
4. where the house is located, you could only go out as far as your knees because we were on end curve - may I suggest a square rope so others can enjoy going out further than their knees.
5. The bartenders were miserable. Not one of them smiled, not one of them seemed like they wanted to wait on you ever! 3 examples: 1. I asked for a frozen drink, it came up in right away, I didn't hear the blender, why you ask, because he gave me someone else's melted mistake. It was a melted mess. I said, I'll take a new one please. 2. A person in front of my husband asked for 2 waters, bartender got out 2 nice cold ones from fridge. My husband asked for one, he went to grab one from the package sitting on the counter. he said, no I will take a cold one like you gave the customer in front of me. 3. My daughter ordered a frozen banana, the bartender said are you kidding me, that's what your ordering 10 min before we close - so she didn't get what she wanted because of horrible service.
6. Every restaurant we went to (outside of buffet) never got your order right. Always missing something. ex: bbq place. I ordered a burger, I didn't get the spicy aioli on it. My husband went up to ask for it & the waitress said it doesn't come with he and he pointed to the sign. I got the aioli.
7. At bbq place a beaches worker eating lunch at table in shade, customer had to sit in sun. Don't workers have a lounge to eat.
8. No fun Jamaican music playing anywhere - pool for 2 hours if lucky. Employees didn't say hello or acknowledge
9. The worst of all was our first full day we went to gift shop. 2 girl employees and another beaches employee - they made fun of us and insulted me and my husband. I left the store and refused to go back (my husband did speak to the manager about that) - that was really bad. I wouldn't have spent any money again in that store, but my son kept going in for cigarettes. Me & my husband didn't spend another dime
And the total kicker was the resort was only a 1/3 full. I couldn't imagine the service you would receive if any if it was full. I reached out to Beaches personally and they never got back to me. So I'm helping others not to waste their money.

I had an awesome time!!.the staff and service was wonderful.food was great!!

We had a candlelight dinner on the beach celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Our waiter was Jervin and he had decorated the whole area beautifully even the sand! Our steak was cooked exactly the way we asked and the presentation of all dishes were top notch. We couldn’t eat our dessert cause there was so much food so Jervin delivered it to our room. He went above and beyond being just our waiter, he was truly wanting to make our experience the best possible. And he succeeded.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Beaches Negril- a fantastic place for family vacation! The weather is perfect and so are the people at the resort. The Dining room staff was excellent .The Mill Staff was good but I Notice Rockiesh one of your best Servers he was messing. Because the last time I was here he was the only staff who was Nice to us hope to see him again the next time we stay at Beaches Negril

Beaches Negri!! I just can't get enough of it. I'm never tired of this property 👏🏿👏🏿

The rooms need upgrades, food was horrible I was so disappointed my whole family got sick everything watered down and the staff chat patwa to each other in front the guess.the entertainment is lit.

Took our entire extended family and had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect; the rooms were fine but need some updating/maintenance. The restaurant/food opportunities were endless. Really enjoyed Yaku Peruvian and the Jerk Shack. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and welcoming. The water sports were super fun, with lots of options. We sailed Hobie cats, paddle boarded, went diving several times and took a catamaran snorkeling trip. The Sesame Street characters were a big hit with the grandkids. We spent a lot of time on the beach and it was really nice to have all of us under one of the large shaded cabana’s. Great trip!

Visited @ once in 30 year storm, still amazing

The resort needs to update the rooms. The appliances are outdated. The bathtub didn’t work, and the bathroom outlet was out. The toilet also leaked. We also saw a large roach in the bathroom. I called several times for them to fix the bathtub and bathroom outlet. The issue was never resolved. My three-year-old daughter was forced to shower for seven days instead of taking a bath. I could not blow dry or curl my hair because the outlet was not working. The food was good, and the entertainment was excellent five stars. We enjoyed every performance. It was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this resort entertainment and the beach. I hope you have a better experience with working appliances. Also, there are no room services.

Just got back from a 6 night stay with my family of four (two kids ages 2 and 4). We had an absolute blast and would 100% recommend this resort for families. Our kids were smiling and laughing the whole time. They loved alternating between the piazza pool and beach. Also enjoyed the playground, splashpad, and lazy river. My older daughter especially loved the water slide. On some days, it was a little dog-eat-dog to get a lounger by the piazza pool because the butler service saves many seats, but the staff (shout out to Neil) did their best to accommodate.

The food was surprisingly good (not great). We loved eating at the jerk shack and would definitely recommend checking out Yaku. We opted for the buffet a couple of nights to enjoy many Jamaican dishes. Loved that we could get pizza and chicken nuggets at all hours for the kids.

Shoutout to the kids club! We put our girls in from 6-8 every night so my husband and I could enjoy a kid-free dinner. The kids club staff were kind and my kids were excited to go every night. The staff will take the kids around to events on the resort including a Sesame Street show and cookie making with Cookie Monster. Did I mention they are open from 9am-9pm?! Amazing!

Loved the nightly entertainment…especially the water show. We got into a little evening routine where we’d pick the kids up from kids club, go see the 30-45 minute show, stop for frozen yogurt at Yo-yos and socialize with the other families, and head to bed. So much fun.

The rooms were a bit dated but clean and spacious. We had adjoining rooms and one of our showers didn’t work great. The rooms were cleaned every day and also did turn down service which is not something I’ve seen in a while.

Staff throughout the resort were kind and helpful. Maybe a little slow at times but we weren’t really in a rush.

We were really nervous to travel here after seeing the elevated warnings from the State department. We felt very safe the second we got off the plane. They had security guards on the beach to keep an eye on vendors. We ended up booking the private transfer instead of using the shuttle but I’m sure the shuttle would’ve been fine.

Still smiling from our time at Beaches Negril. We were able to focus on having fun as a family and hope to be back again next year.

We traveled to Beaches Negril Jamaica for a week long family vacation and Beaches sure did live up to their name!

The fifteen of us stayed in their new Villa which was beautifully maintained and decorated and right on the beach for quick access to the ocean. The layout was perfect for our family and allowed us to all have our own separate spaces while still being able to come together in the main common room or on the shared balcony.

The amenities, food, drinks, staff, and shows were nothing short of top notch! So many selections of food and drinks to pick from left us trying something new every day of our trip.

What really made our trip next level were our butlers Anthony and Shanice. Both of them took our experience to the next level by ensuring that we had what we needed or wanted at any given time during our stay. They made our stay that much more enjoyable for not only the adults but our kids too. They were the primary reason why we decided to rebook for another visit in the near future!

My only suggestion for this Beaches location would be to have more kids food options at many of their restaurants (Mini Burgers (sliders), Pizza, Sandwiches, Etc.) for those pickier children.

Overall we would highly recommend Beaches Negril Jamaica to anyone traveling with families or those with children as they will ensure your visit is stress free and leave you and your family with lasting memories!

The hotel is in a spectacular location, even though it is 2 hours from the airport it is worth the trip! The beaches are wide, transparent water and a unique color! The water park and slides are very well done for the kids. The pools the same.
At first we went to the Grand Luxe Double room because we are 2 adults and two children (6 and 3 years old). There is no way to enter comfortably. There is almost no closet or space for suitcases. We had to move.
The food is very good.
The shows could be improved.

I visited this resort with family for my brother's destination wedding. In summary, for the price of the resort it wasn't worth it. The food was plentiful, but slow and mediocre. The service was slow and frequently incorrect. The beach was good though.

Rooms:
We were in suite with 4 bedrooms, the master bedroom, a room with 2 sets of bunk beds, a room with one set of bunk beds, and another with two beds. There were numerous issues with the rooms. I was in the room with a set of bunk beds. The sliding bathroom door didn't lock and there was no place for towels in the bathroom, hand towels or bath towels. We had to go out in the hall and get towels before we showered. I left a hand towel by the sink and the cleaning staff would remove it every day.
Our room was also very bright as the pull down window shade was smaller than the window and let a lot of light through. I had to wear a sleep mask every night to sleep.
The door latch to the half-bathroom off the living room malfunctioned and one of my nephews was stuck in there for a while until we literally broke him out.
The staff did a good job keeping the refrigerator stocked with drinks, but they didn't restock the snack basket.

A couple of nice things, there was a gallon pump container of sunscreen there for us to use, we had a nice balcony and a cabana down at the beach that came with the room, and they stocked the cabana ice chest with beer, juice, and water every day

Food:
There are numerous restaurants at the resort, as well as "The Mill" which is the buffet that is open for all meals. There are also (stationary) food trucks and some other assorted places to get food.
The sit down restaurants were generally disappointing. The first night we went to the sushi restaurant. The servers mixed up our appetizers, soup, and completely forgot my drink order. I am not a sushi fan, but my nephews said the sushi was "meh". The food also takes a long time. Every sit down restaurant meal is a two hour affair.
There is one sit down restaurant that serves brunch and we had one very disappointing meal there. The pancakes were not good, not even as good as make it yourself from Bisquik in a box. The breakfast burritos had almost nothing but egg in them. Our side orders of bacon didn't show up for over an hour and our 3 orders of breakfast pastries hadn't shown up in 90 minutes. We gave up and went for frozen yogurt at that point.

The Mill buffet was decent, with plenty of food to pick from and blessedly quick. We ate all but one breakfast at the Mill but no lunches or dinners. Most of our lunches were down at the beach. After the first day we learned that you order lunch at least an hour before you want it, because it won't show up a while.

The pizzas were good, the crepes from Cafe France were good, and the frozen yogurt was great. My niecephews (nieces and nephews) and I hit the frozen yogurt place 2-3 times a day.

Service:
Our housekeepers did a good job, especially getting the sand cleaned up every day.
I stopped by the front desk to request a couple more pillows for our room after the first night. That request was not addressed.

Beach:
I had no real complaints about the beach. They kept it clean, there was a cordoned off area for swimming, and they had kayaks, paddle boards, water trikes, and other water activities. They also offered snorkeling trips (included) which are fun. We didn't see much on our snorkeling excursion, but it was still fun.

Other:
There are some outdoor games. The foosball tables are so warped by weather that they are basically unplayable. There is one ping-pong table, but it has no shade, so it is pretty uncomfortable to play during the day.
They have a gym, one room for cardio and one room for weight lifting. Both are not great, but okay. I imagine these don't get a lot of use since not too many people come to an all inclusive resort to exercise. I was in the gym around 6am each day and was either by myself or occasionally with one other person.

The resort makes every effort to make sure the guests are having a good time. The attention to your needs is refreshing. The resort is extremely clean and maintained. The employees are very friendly and courteous. The beach is beautiful and the food was excellent.

DO NOT COME HERE, I repeat, DO NOT COME HERE! The rooms are old and all broken. Buffet barely has food. Drinks are okayISH… you lucky if there’s a great bar man when you place an order. Today nobody came from housekeeping to clean our room. I kept going back to my room to see if its clean, and it was all dirty.. had to reuse dirty towels. I called them several times, but nobody came. The manager actually stopped by after my 3rd call, saying he’ll ask someone to come clean in about 30min, but after 2 hours I went back to my room to check. It was still filthy. I’m actually writing this review while I’m currently dining at one of their restaurants, Yaku Peruvian. Checking out in two days.
I never wish to see this resort. DO NOT COME HERE. We actually switched rooms because the tub was broken in our first room, and being on the 3rd floor wasn’t working because of the little ones climbing up and down the stairs. Our second room bathtub stopper doesn’t work either 😂… can’t fill water, so kids can bath.
