Beaches Turks & Caicos Vacations

4.3 - 2934 Reviews
Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
First class accommodations, extravagant meals and a wide range of watersports make this hotel hugely popular with couples and families. The kids and teen facilities are some of the best in the Caribbean. There’s a wood-beam ‘Pirate Ship’ surrounded by its own pool with two waterslides and a swim-up soda bar, Sesame Street characters, along with an Xbox 360 lounge, disco and more. For guests 16 years and older, there are full European spa facilities, and included scuba for certified divers. The delightful French Village section features rooms, cafes, bistros and a pool – all very ‘charmant’!
Location: Grace Bay in Providenciales

Amazing place! Our se ond visit was almost as good as our first. COVID had to put a damper on several little things, but overall amazing. New pier is longer and in great shape. More watersports available now! Service is still top-notch! Mr. Patrick in Concierge is fantastic! I don't like the new rum punch as much as I did the previous version.

I’m not sure where to begin with this review. I will start out by saying my family and I have done our fair share of traveling all over the world. We tend to do one island trip a year. We have 3 kids under 6 so we decided based on reviews to give this place a shot even though we both agreed we grew out of all inclusive resort vacationing. We got 4 rooms for us and our extended family at roughly 9k a room.. what did that get us you ask? Rooms with leaking AC and mold on the walls. We were shocked at the state of the these rooms for this price. We could deal with the bad rooms if that was the only bump in the road. But no we had horrible experiences with the rude staff that treated us like we are burdening them by being there. The main pool was filthy and water was cloudy and pool was shut down due to feces. Yay. It was impossible to get chairs by the beach or pool unless your up at 6am. And don’t get me started on the food. It was pretty awful. And we knew going into an all inlclusive trip the food would be average. But. This was next level awful. The icing on the cake was my 2 year old catching a parasite from their nasty unclean facility.. I’m truly convinced these positive reviews were paid for. I can’t imagine anyone thinking this place is more than a 3 star resort. My only happiness came from the kids activities with Sesame Street. One of which was an additional charge! absolutely asinine.

The staff at Beaches Turks and Caicos is top notch! The staff was extremely patient, kind, always there to assist us and we consistently saw staff picking up empty glasses, etc. The grounds were very well kept and manicured. The beach was incredible and many times we had it to ourselves over by Key West Village where our room was located. There was a waitress at Sky restaurant that went above and beyond for us. She patiently checked on our table while some of our party came late, and then allowed the kids to eat from the breakfast buffet downstairs at our table at Sky. We really appreciated this accommodation. The staff truly cares about making Beaches Turks and Caicos your dream vacation. Shout out to Bobby D's for the pizza and ice cream! It was conveniently located inside the waterpark, an easy walk from anywhere on the resort. Lastly, housekeeping was very attentive to our needs which we so appreciated.

The Beaches Turks and Caicos is the absolute best place to go for a good time good food and good people. I was there for a week and it was not enough time that's how much stuff there is to do on the island. Very beautiful people and place!!!!

Beautiful location

Food was okay, not Great!

Service- after visiting Mexico, Caribbean is more laid back, not great service but no complaints. No tipping policy could be the reason.

The worst food you can imagine.
They won't seat a party of over ten with out a reservation and you need to be at the restaurant to place the reservation and with 4 kids and with10 people total that's hard to get everyone to a restaurant just to make a reservation.
Our room was booked as a queen and we got 2 twin beds, nothing they can do because all rooms are booked.
Our air conditioner in the room is puking water enough to soak a towel, we called to have someone come fix it they said 10 mins and after an hour wait we walked to find food and that took us 1.5 hrs to find a place to seat us with a 30 min wait.
DO NOT COME HERE
The money you spend to come here you can go to Italy.....

A wonderful vacation and beautiful beach! Thank you to Reno our butler for doing and outstanding job. Kudos to Bethany Travel for help with planning.

85° @ Christmas time.

A beach and garden paradise, but the system that was created (certainly productive for management) is no longer current and is overloaded.
The rooms are poorly designed with a lot of wasted space (what use is the kitchen in an all-inclusive resort?) and lacking in cleaning and maintenance. Even the materials used do not do justice to the efforts of the employees, difficult to clean and full of dust.
The restaurants offer quantity but the quality is not adequate for the five stars that the resort attributes to itself. The service is almost always lacking, slow, inattentive, "relaxed" except for giving a wake-up call with a few dollars.
The seats on the deckchairs are always occupied given the habit of guests occupying them with a thousand objects at seven in the morning. Many are occupied by butlers, upon reservation. Almost all of these reserved places ultimately remain unused, and those who want to relax end up having continuous stress simply to find relaxation on the beach or in the pool. Here we need a seat reservation system (an official system I mean). Many have solved the problem by paying the lifeguards separately the day before to have their seats occupied.
The Key West area is architecturally nicer and quieter. The Italian village is a continuous chaos. The other areas are quite balanced.
The cost of the rooms and the service, overall, is not adequate for the offer. In no way does it compare with other all-inclusive 5selle. This place is probably lucky enough to have been in the right place for a long time, receiving a North American clientele who, rather than travel further, lazily prefer to pay more, rather than travel looking for better.
I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend Beaches, which appears to be lacking from a structural but also organizational point of view. The criticism, responding in advance to the manager who will respond to this review with appropriate words, goes directly to the Beaches ownership: there is too much profit and not enough care for the end customer, and there were many of us who perceived it.
Best regards

I have a lot to say so strap in!

Property: immaculate! They do an amazing job of keeping the grounds and landscaping looking great. I even saw a guy with scissors trimming a hedge. The lawn was always cut and the pathways clear.

Rooms: we stayed in the French village. It should have been closed to be renovated years ago. The rooms are dated. The bathrooms are not maintained. The door was swollen at the bottom from water damage, the grout in the shower was coming apart and all of the fixtures were old and loose. The water pressure was very poor but we never ran out of hot water with 2 adults and a child. The trundle bed was the saving grace for the room. It’s nice and low to the ground so we didn’t have to worry about our toddler falling out of bed onto the floor.

Service: My biggest gripe. Because there is no tipping, nobody goes the extra mile past what they are required to do. We didn’t run into too many rude staff but not too many friendly ones either. I was never served once while sitting on the beach or pool chairs. The only way to get a drink was to go to a bar and ask. This might sound snobby but I’ve been to plenty of resorts for 1/4 of the price that the wait staff will remember your name, where you’re from and what your preferred drink is. We never saw anything that resembled that. We were a group of 13 and each time we arrived at a restaurant and told them our number we got eye rolls and teeth sucking. Not what I expected for the price. I went to the scuba counter and waited 10 mins for someone to appear. There was a woman sitting adjacent at the snorkel counter and she made no effort to help me or get someone who could until I asked for the 3rd time if someone was coming. The staff at the dive center is the exception. Chris helped me do my refresher for my padi license and was great! Mario was the dive master for both of my dives and was very patient with our group and made it fun.

Food: The food at the a la carte places was good. Lots of variety and seafood options. The buffets were typical and not very impressive. We enjoyed the jerk shack truck, and the Mac and cheese truck. Our favorite restaurant was ‘Sky’. The views were great and we enjoyed the food the most there. That being said my wife and I both got travelers diarrhea twice during the week. I ended up missing my second day of diving for sitting on the toilet. We couldn’t place what made us sick but it was the first time in 45+countries of travel that this has happened to me. I didn’t expect it for the prestigious resort like beaches.

Beach: the beach is great. The sand is soft and great for making sandcastles. The red flag was out every day except one and it only went to yellow. We walked down the beach to the snorkeling spot above the reef. My nephew really enjoyed that. The water was crystal clear and clean. After a storm some seaweed showed up but the staff was quick to clean it up.

Shows: we didn’t hit up too many of the shows but did go to the Sesame Street concert a couple of times as well as the street parade on Friday night. My daughter loved seeing Elmo and Abby walking around the resort.

Pools: we kept mostly to the French village pool and the Caribbean pool. Previous reviews are correct about getting up early to grab chairs before they’re all taken. The pool water was cloudy in all the pools and there was a layer of sunscreen sludge in some of the corners. By the end of the week, we didn’t want to go in them at all as some of our party were getting unexplained skin rashes. The water park is great although they could maybe have a few more things for toddlers as my daughter was a bit young for the slides. We used all the slides and lazy river and had a great time in the water park. The staff weren’t very friendly but they do have a pretty boring job waiting for screaming kids to finish the slide before they give the next one the go ahead.

To conclude, we did enjoy ourselves and most of what the resort had to offer. However, we could have spent half the money and had an even better time in the Dominican, mexico etc.

If you are looking for customer service, do yourself a favor and stay away from Beaches/Sandals. We booked a week here, and were given the terms that changes could be made to our booking up to 45 days prior to arrival. So, when the original week that we wanted opened up we had our TA call in to simply add a night to our stay, and move our arrival to the following week since availability opened up. Easy enough, right? Total nightmare. 4 different calls to their TA line, and she was told by 4 different people that they can’t make any changes for 3 days, and that we would have to cancel our current reservation, LOSE OUR DEPOSIT and rebook from the beginning. She argued with them for 30 mins that their terms clearly state that changes may be made to any existing reservation up to 45 days prior to arrival, and any money paid applied to the change. We are still over 60 days away, and they are trying to steal our deposit and make us rebook just for the ability of adding a 5th night and changing our arrival date by one week. When my agent asked to speak to a supervisor in that dept she was told 4 different times that they don’t have any supervisors there for 3 days. I called them myself to see exactly what the issue is, and they refused to even talk to me directly since I had my TA book this trip. $25,000 for a vacation and hands down the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever dealt with in over 30 years of traveling. I would highly discourage anyone from giving this company a dime. As soon as they take your money you can forget about anything they told you prior in regards to making changes, deposits etc. Despite them sending you everything in writing at the time of booking they 100% refuse to honor any of it and try to make you jump through a million hoops in order to do so. If you are looking for the level of service that’s expected from a company that charges these prices, do yourself a huge favor and avoid this one! Never again.

The views and the beaches are outrageous. Turquoise water almost looks like it's glowing from below. Service and Staff are top notch. The Caribbean Village appears to be the most dated. If I go back, it would be either in the French or Key West Village but they look much pricer. Great location overall if you have kids as there are plenty of activities including The Pirate Water Park ... very impressive though no interest to me lol. #NoKids. Plenty of restaurants, bars and pools! By the way did I mention the views & beach is outrageous?!!! Boats rides, parasailing, snorkeling etc all there too ! One thing though, if you're not traveling with kids and want more peace and quiet going during spring break is probably not the best time plus the total expense is double if not more.

Better than Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas, better than Fairmont Orchid Hawaii, and as good as Westin Reserva Conchal in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, although less expensive. Booked a return trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos for Spring Break 2025 within a week of getting home from Turks and Caico for Spring Break 2024.

Sheets smelled terrible and when we asked for new ones they had just folded the old ones. The service is awful every time you order the smallest thing even a plate of fries you have to wait at least an hour. At the nicest pool, the french pool, they were jackhammering at the hot tub. This place sucks. Never coming again. Sapodillas was pretty good though. We asked for new sheets again and they have not been replaced. Location is very nice though you will never find a spot near any pool nor the beach. Shower water pressure was absolutely unbearable until we asked for it to be fixed to make it somehow manageable.

The convenience, location, and services offered are all worthy of considering Beaches, however, there were a few disappointing aspects that will lead us to do something different if we return to T&C. Grace Bay 100% deserves the #1 beach rating. It was absolutely stunning and the best ocean swimming experience I’ve ever had! We stayed at the Italian Village which boasts the largest pool, but it was ~90° water and was not refreshing at all. Awesome pool design, convenient bar and food nearby but felt like getting into a warm bath when you got in vs. a refreshing escape from the sun. The room was spacious and what we needed but the water pressure was lacking in shower and sinks. Unsure if that was just our room or a trend across the resort, but brushing teeth to a trickle from sink wasn’t great. We had read mixed reviews on the food, but overall we had pretty good experiences with our meals. Breakfasts were convenient buffets and consistent. Mario’s was closest to our room so we did that a couple times, and Reflections once (same buffet but they also had omelette bar). Neptunes had a menu for breakfast and was pretty good also. Our best dinner experiences were at Mario’s, La Petite Chateau, and Kimonos (hibachi). Bayside had awesome dinner view, but just so so food (buffet). We went to a few of the evening theater events and they were entertaining and a something for everyone. The staff was great, very friendly, and always willing to help if we needed anything. They cleaned rooms every day and actually cleaned (mopped floors, etc.) and restocked fridge. The bartenders were all great and never felt like we were waiting for drinks very long. Considering they were also serving all the kids virgin drinks over and over along with the adult drinks, they deserved medals for their speed and friendliness. It was a fun and relaxing week and it met expectations, understanding nothing will be perfect. It was a good way to be introduced to the island but we’ll probably do a house next trip.

We just got back for 5 nights there and before leaving we booked another trip for 6 nights in a year. We loved the resort! We probably could have found something a little more upscale but with kids I don't think you could get better. The Ritz does not look like a fun place for kids. I think they do a good job by filling the place up but still feels like you have space.

We did have a 2 BD Suite with Butler service and it was great! We mainly used it for reservations at restaurants and cabanas at the pool. We eat early because of our child at around 5 PM and rarely did we see anyone waiting. Some of the restaurants were better than others. We are foodies and thought the food was pretty good. There was only one thing I didn't care for and couldn't eat. With any buffet, it is what it is. It's no Golden Coral but it's not 5 star dinning either. Our room did face the ocean and we could not hear any of the loud music in our room. Though, I would have not been happy if our room faced some of the places that had loud events.

So why did I give it 4 stars for service? As others have noted, some of the staff just shouldn't be in hospitality. As they appeared grumpy and just not friendly. But I wouldn't say rude either.

My biggest "issue" was the arrival. We were supposed to be picked up in a vehicle and we were. But when we got to the hotel we were lead to the "concierge" area which immediately gave me odd vibes. I really questioned our decision to stay there. The furniture was dated and it just looked odd.

Beaches is tremendously expensive. But it is nice not having to worry about paying for food while there. We did pay for the upgraded internet. And it worked well in the rooms. Out on the patio though was hit or miss. We brought out own Google Chromecast with Google TV, so we could watch our own TV and recorded shows.

As far as people complaining about the airport. *eyeroll* - yes it's old, small and dated. Not Beaches fault.

We had 3 showers in our suite and didn't experience any water pressure issues or toilets not flushing as some have experienced.

The weather was amazing! And you could NOT beat the water. It was perfect in every way. It was clearer than any other body of water I have ever seen.

Advice to Beaches - don't put grumpy folks in customer facing positions.

Wow what a great and relaxing family vacation the pools were refreshing and beautiful the beach was clean and not cluttered with too many chairs. The restaurants were fantastic with great food and atmosphere, staff were amazing and always helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable especially the stocked mini fridge and great views from the walk out patio. Plenty of fun for the entire family.

Johnny from the scuba diving department is phenomenal!!! Our daughter wanted to try out scuba diving for the first time, and his patience, determination and care made her absolutely fall in love with the scuba diving experience! He is truly an amazing teacher!! Definitely consider taking a trip over to the diving section of the resort and ask for Johnny, you will not be let down!

My family and I had the best vacation here! It is now our new favorite resort. There is so much to do . There is something for everyone. The resort is beautifully decorated. Everything is so clean. All the workers are very busy but also very friendly and helpful. Even if there is a wait to get into a restaurant for dinner, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from. The food is absolutely delicious and the service everywhere is amazing. The beach is also clean and well maintained. Of course the water is breath taking shades of blue!!!! Overall, an amazing vacation.
