Very good service and food 👌
I really wanted to like this place and had a special trip planned for my mom and me. Unfortunately, Zoetry disappointed in several significant areas:
1) I selected Zoetry because of the quiet resort and the nice spa. I booked two spa appointments a week in advance and didn't know until we showed up for the 11:00 appointment, having scheduled our day around it, that the spa was undergoing maintenance and they'd have to put us in the same room. We said OK, but then they walked us down the hallway to a hotel room that had been converted into a "spa" room with a makeshift speaker that was really scratchy. After getting undressed, I decided I wasn't going to pay $470 for a converted spa room, no access to the sauna or steam room or any other spa amenities - a huge reason why I selected Zoetry out of all the other resorts in Los Cabos. The spa was under construction our entire 5-night stay, so we never got to use it and there were MANY opportunities when they could've communicated this to us in advance, but they never did - they even tried to upsell us on spa treatments upon arrival to use our "coupons", which was a waste of a benefit bc that spa was unavailable. In the end, they comp'd my mom and me a "Romantic Dinner for two", but we really wanted a facial and body treatment...
2) We didn't have hot water 2 out of the 5 nights. The night I wanted to use that nice big bathtub, it was a waste of space.
3) Food/Room Service: Eating room service breakfast on the front porch was a lovely experience, but they say room service is 24/7, yet you can't order breakfast or coffee before 7am. Take this into consideration if you have an excursion you need to get to. Food was mediocre - huevos rancheros was the best on the menu!
4) Service/Staff: The staff was incredibly funny and nice, but very slow. It took them 40 minutes to bring ice to the room one morning. The food and drink service around the pool, as well as sit-down dinner service is very slow. Very friendly, but order WELL BEFORE you get thirsty of hungry. We ordered churros for dessert our first night and it took 25+ minutes for it to get to the table.
5) Resort: Zoetry has beautiful grounds that are kept very well manicured. The pools and hot tubs are great, the poolside chairs are very comfortable, our view was pretty. Plenty of chairs available and mostly quiet - a few kids, but not disruptive.
6) Transportation: Zoetry is located half way between Cabo San Lucas (20 min away) and San Jose del Cabo (20 min away). You can easily Uber to these marinas/downtown areas and we did that for both places. Ubers each direction were ~$20 and were within 2-3 minutes away each time. Uber is very safe becase of the background checks, license information and license plates that are all required to be provided to Uber. From the airport to Zoetry, I did what the hotel recommended and booked an Amstar private car, which was a rip off at $141 and I had to wait 20 min for it to pick me up. Uber all the way.
Based on the experience we had, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Not the best luxury all-inclusive by a long ways. To start, our stay went up by over $200 a night at check in. Not the biggest deal, but makes for an annoyingly long check-in process. Arturo at reception was thoroughly unhelpful, I’d avoid him at all costs as the other hosts are helpful.
Be aware it does take up to an hour for them to microwave your food. We’ve been doing a tour of Baja all inclusive resorts and this is the worst food and service we’ve ever had at an all inclusive anywhere. (Edit: Dreams next door is worse) Looking at the other reviews I’m really puzzled as to how this place is rated as high as it is. Possible the timeshare/condo owners in the facility the bought in the 90s when this place was trendy? Overall, the problem is the value isn’t there. It needs to be a lot nicer to be worth the $600-700/night hotel especially with all the competition in Cabo at that range.

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and my birthday and were wowed by the experience. Everything was top notch and service was fantastic. Too many names to give credit! We definitely took advantage of the amenities including room service and laundry.
Y'ALL! My daughter and I took a getaway trip here the first week of January. I cannot speak highly enough of the facilities and the staff. Our room was everything you could possibly want and our ground floor patio opened up to a breathtaking ocean view with steps that led straight down to the beach. Pool side service was impeccable-- remember the names Luis Martinez, Rigo, and Abraham. You will want for nothing. They aim to please and never make you feel obligated to tip. You will be more than happy to after a day of pampering by the pool. Also, Jessica, the young lady who checked us in, and literally everyone else who you will see sitting at this desk will bend over backwards to answer your questions and make sure you have what you need. GET THE COMPLIMENTARY MASSAGE! 20 minutes of pure bliss. Otherwise, the spa offerings are pretty pricey but not out of line with other resorts. The restaurants and the menu offerings are perfectly fine, but I wouldn't say that was their best feature. We were looking for a night off premise and they hooked us up with a reservation at Chambao. If you are looking for an amazing night and don't mind spending $$$, I highly recommend! All in all, I cannot wait to go back with my husband and hope I see everyone from my first visit. Shout out to the pool crew from the Memphis mom and daughter who tried hard not to cause trouble, but maybe did, just a little bit. See you again soon!
We started out the week a bit disappointed. There were some issues with our room the first night. Fortunately, the staff and management, especially Jessica, were very helpful in accommodating out needs. The week wound up being everything we hoped for and more. Very peaceful and relaxing. Whale watching right from the main pool. Attentive and friendly staff. Great people there too.
I went to visit a spa day, clean, cozy and very nice facilities.
The service and food were spectacular. Went when it was adults only so it was a very quiet and relaxed vacation. Hugo was phenomenal at the Saltwater restaurant.
We are pretty picky, yet we have few complaints about this resort.
staying here a-only second-third day but have something to say to the people who consider:
1. it's nice, quite place to stay:
no kids around resort compare to other( maybe timeshare kids three's no place or activities for kids so no seend kids here.)
2. well maintained
3. clean
1. however, i have had issue since i checked in:
no tablet works which controls your "ALL INCLUSIVE".
I've got an tablet that could order from my room, but it did not work. So i returned to the front desk. The staffs sounds like they care and fix ASAP but they DO NOT. So you need to follow up or bother them about the tablet(wich it hasn't been solved so far yet lol).
hmm.. I never have this kind of experience from this kind of nice resort. it's frustrating + little stressful.
2. Plus, it took 2hrs to get my order.
also forgot to bring a spoon( can understand this part tho).
if you want to pay this much, i recommend go somewhere because room service + quality of food,
i Believe you have better service overall than this.

A fine hotel with an obvious focus on client and customer satisfaction. Every staff member we met was absolutely delightful and it was clear that they took great pride in the he work they do and the happiness and satisfaction of their customers. The ground maintenance was some of the best in the world. Absolutely magnificent attention to detail and we could absolutely feel the love in their work. The room was delightful, clean and comfortable.
The hotel is beautiful but what really made the trip for us was the wonderful staff. The restaurant and pool staff were super friendly and attentive. They take pride in their work.
The activities at the hotel were phenomenal. We loved SUP yoga with Alejandra and craft making with Eduardo.
Dinners at Saltwater were excellent as was the octopus tostada at lunch.
We look forward to returning to this wonderful hotel in the future.
