This very charming superior hotel is directly on the beautiful, white sand Bavaro beach, surrounded by a palm grove and the Caribbean sea.

Location: Directly on beautiful Bavaro Beach, 5 min to Plaza Bavaro shopping center, 30 min from the airport.

"We went when this was the LTI Resort
Nice pool and beach
Food was ok. Except for the Italian buffet which was really good for lunch.
Service was terrible. Main desk staff and main buffet staff were rude, would not and in some cases could not speak english. Arrived at 11am and the reception staff were appalled that we had the nerve to arrive early(Like it was our fault?) and ask for our room.
Called room service on a number off occassions they either didn't show up, didn't know our room number or showed up after making 3 calls to them.
Booked a suite for a family of 5 and ended up on a lesser room on our first night. When asked for compensation for the price difference we were given the use of the safe for free($20 USD).
Our suite leaked like a firehose during a rainstorm. Would have ruined our luggage if we hadn't been in the room. Made a call to room service and they never showed up.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca - Extra Hotel Information

Effective Nov. 1/08 name has changed from LTI Beach Resort to VIK Hotel Arena Blanca & Cayena Beach. Some restaurants may be open for certain meals only and limited visits may apply. Reservations required and dress code in effect for a la carte restaurants. Time restrictions may apply for water sports.

Child pricing may only be available with select tour operators and valid for select dates and durations. Child pricing rules are subject to change without notice. Please contact one of our vacation specialists if you require assistance with child pricing.

Holy Week, leading up to Easter is a major holiday in the Dominican Republic. Beach and Watersports activities and Alcohol may not be available during this period and can be cancelled at any time.

IMPORTANT The Government of the Dominican Republic has increased the fee payable for the Justice of the Peace when getting married in the DR from $75US to $425US effective Jan 31/2007 & is at additional cost.
