Playacar Palace Information

Formerly the Continental Playacar, Playacar Palace is now newly renovated and part of the well known and established Palace Resorts name. Enjoy sumptuous meals, or sip a refreshing drink at the swim-up pool bar. Play an invigorating match of tennis or head underwater and explore the ocean floor teaming with colourful fish.

Location: Beachfront, within walking distance to Playa del Carmen, 50 minutes to Cancun, 40 minutes from the airport.

"Location, location, location! If you want to be located in heart of EVERYTHING, 5 minute walk from the Playacar Palace to town. No long bus trips to town like other places. The resort is smaller than most but we loved the intimate atmosphere. The service and staff were awesome, great shows. When we arrived we were ushered right in to the desk to check in and handed a glass of champagne. A nice welcome. The rooms are awesome with beautiful views of the ocean. If you have mobility issues you will like the situation here as the beach is just steps away from the resort. The food was amazing with great selection. There are tours and sightseeing included during your stay. They were all top of the line tours with so much to chose from. We would definitely go here again!!"

Playacar Palace - Extra Hotel Information

Some restaurants may be open for certain meals only and limited visits may apply. Reservations and dress code may be in effect for a la carte restaurants. Due to various weather conditions, the size of the Playacar beach may vary from day to day. Non-motorized water sports are not available. Guests can enjoy them at sister properties, courtesy bus (once daily) from Playacar Palace to Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort.

Child pricing may only be available with select tour operators and valid for select dates and durations. Child pricing rules are subject to change without notice. Please contact one of our vacation specialists if you require assistance with child pricing.
