Our Opinion of Riu Palace Riviera Maya

This deluxe resort has great amenities, including an amazing spa. Excellent a la carte restaurants and a wonderful buffet with lots of cooking stations. The entertainment staff here are great, putting on lots of daily activities and good nightly entertainment. Amazing service. You have access to all the other Riu properties in the area as well. The beach is not quite as nice as at the Riu Palace Palace Mexico. Couples looking for luxury will want to short list this resort.

Riu Palace Riviera Maya Information

This luxurious 400-room Riu Palace Riviera Maya resort, set in magnificent tropical gardens, offers all the wonderful features and facilities that have become synonymous with Riu Palace resorts. Right in the Playacar area, a short walk to Riu Yucatan, Riu Playacar, Riu Tequila and Riu Palace Mexico, guests have access to all facilities at these resorts (dinner restaurants excluded).

Location: On the beach, near the popular Riu Resorts, 60 minutes to Cancun, 10 minutes to Playa del Carmen and 45 minutes from the airport.
