The Grand Esmeralda is a large complex so lots of walking, although there are carts to shuttle people around. The food here is excellent with lots of selection.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda Information

While this deluxe new resort may be styled after an old Mayan village, it features all the modern conveniences of a world class resort. This stunning new property is part of the favourite Gala hotel chain and is located on a 350-metre stretch of beach - just minutes from the charming town of Playa del Carmen and local shopping and sightseeing. Spacious rooms and suites are playfully adorned with colourful tropical details and are distributed across the property in five two-storey buildings.
