An exclusive section within the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort complex. Perfect for couples & families as a superior all-inclusive resort which spreads across acres of lush tropical gardens and provides access to the adjacent Barcelo Maya Beach section.

Location: On a white sandy beach on the Mayan Riviera, 20 minutes to the town of Playa del Carmen and a 50 minute drive from Cancun airport.

"We are in our mid 50's and returned yesterday from a week long vacation with our kids who range between 25-31and grandchildren ages 8,6 & 2 at the Barcelo Caribe - a much anticipated family vacation! We have been to the Barcelo several times and stayed in other areas, including the Palace, in September. The Caribe was perfect for our family. Our requests for adjoining/adjacent rooms were met, as was our request to be close to the beach/pool area. The reception and check in was quick. The pools and beach areas were perfect for our needs. The grounds impeccably maintained. The staff in the buffet - Martin and Jesus in particular - were accommodating and attentive and set up an impromptu birthday celebration for our 25 year old daughter and made our last night at the resort special as well. The little ones were made to feel as important as all of us. Our rooms were clean and modern, the offer of fresh towels late in the afternoon was a nice touch. Friendly, smiling staff were everywhere. Daniel who arranges small excursions for the hotel was so knowledgeable. We did have some problems with our flight and scheduling but this was in no way a reflection of Escapes or the Barcelo. We made some lifelong memories this week!"
