Our Opinion of Bahia Principe Coba

The newest section located in the middle of the resort, it has better amenities than the other two Bahia Principe properties but is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, however, trams run throughout the property. A great pool area and clubhouse with Internet access. It has its own restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Good food.

Bahia Principe Coba Information

A stunning new all Junior Suite resort fronting a kilometre along the Mayan Riviera's famed white sand beach. The Gran Bahia Principe Coba is a self-contained resort complete with spa, shops, piano bar, sports bar, a disco and is located behind Gran Bahia Principe Akumal. Treat yourself to one of the many different packages offered!

Location: Next to Gran Bahia Principe Akumal, 35 min to Playa del Carmen, 20 min from the Mayan Ruins at Tulum, 90 min from the Cancun airport.

"I love this hotel, the customer service was wonderful,not to mention the food was so good. Although i wish there had been more variety, it was still delicious!!
the Beach is wonderful, so much to look at.
The rooms were great, the air conditioning was a life saver.
The cable on the other hand was not that great, only 2 channels were english.
I am hoping to be married at this hotel coming up this year.
this is a hotel you must visit. A great Family trip for all ages!"

Effective November 1st, 2008, all guests staying at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba will only have access to the buffet and gourmet restaurants of the hotel where they are staying. Appointments required for spa treatments. Some restaurants may be open for certain meals only and limited visits may apply. Reservations and dress code may be in effect for a la carte restaurants. Time restrictions may apply for water sports.
