All Ritmo Cancun Resort is located north of Cancun, at the start of the Costa Mujeres area. If you want be in town for shopping and nightlife this probably is not your resort. This is an affordable family resort offering good value for your money. If prices are similar, we would recommend the Riu Dunamar as a much better option in the same area.

Everything was extraordinary, especially the meals and shows.
Satisfied with the hotel and the service. It's a little old but well maintained. The food is good, the only complaint is that sometimes they take a while to bring the drinks and they serve a little without enthusiasm. But the price was good compared to other all inclusives. Some rules are silly but it seems to be normal in Mexico, they seem like sheep that follow meaningless rules. For example, they come to bother you because children cannot go so close to each other on the slides, it would be better if they had a person controlling them. Either you can't take the rest of the breakfast cereal, or they come to ask you that children can't splash in the pool, etc. But happy with the choice and would return
The staff here is incredible, the entertainment crew was alot of fun, great for families. Yes the place needs some upgrades but we really enjoyed our trip there! Would love better wifi for the rooms though!

In the restaurant area, waiters, most of whom are poorly faced, make a distinction between local people and foreigners 😐 and with work they serve you.

However, they deny you the rest of 1 cereal, treating you like a thief.

Made into burritos and ham and cheese cakes.
In the bar area
You order something and they don't have proper hygiene
They give you dirty glasses, they gave my sister a glass with lipstick on it, we understand that recycling is required but even if it is washed.
Also in the restaurant
I saw a waiter grab a piece of bread that someone left and put it back on the buffet.
Hotel check-out is until 12pm
And you can't use anything after that time.
We went on a family trip
4 families and they hosted us in different parts. Some large rooms and others small, which should have been the same presentation for everyone.
My family member posted an opinion on Facebook, the hotel page deleted it and they blocked it.
The truth is that it is the first hotel where you cannot take food from the restaurant, not even cereal for your daughter, something that honestly seems somewhat illogical to me, they are strict about that and not in the pools and water park, there they allow people Any clothes come in, the rooms are neglected, the menu in the restaurant is repeated, and it needs a lot of animation, from 1 to 10 I give it a 6.

Good place for children, excellent service.
This was a beautiful resort! It was all inclusive which was really nice, we could get drinks whenever and food was available most of the time. The food was really good, and the service was amazing. All the staff were so engaging and sweet. The entertainment crew was especially awesome, they had games and shows all the time. Lots of sports related challenges with good prizes, like massages and photo shoots. The photo shoot was awesome with a very good photographer, and the massage was nice as well. The beach was very nice, the water wasn't the best I've seen, just lots of seaweed and rocks in the shallow water, but definitely swimmable. The wifi was really bad, and it kicked everyone off like every 15 minutes. It helped us stay off our phones but it was frustrating when we were trying to communicate. The room was ok. The beds were nice and there was tons of space, but the sliding balcony door was almost impossible to open, close or lock, and there was no handle on the outside. The shower sprayed everywhere and the bath took a very long time to drain. The toilet stopped working half way through the stay. Aside from the doors and bathroom, the room was good. It's a peaceful environment here and it's a beautiful place to unplug for a while.
Crazy awesome waterpark (closed Tuesdays for maintenance), kid loved it. Fun hosts! Super windy. Highly recommend resos at the Ostra Restaurant on site. Handy tunnel under road. Lots of wild locals.
Don't come, terrible attitude in general from all the waiters, they don't even bother you and it seems that there is only 1 for the entire restaurant, discounted drinks, very neglected facilities, their buffet without variety, they charge you for cleaning the beach... ..you are going to have a bad time on your vacation
We purchased out vacation based on the Waterpark and the cost. However after we purchased my wife and I started to see horrible reviews about how the staff are rude and the food is bland, unable to get reservations at the al la cart restaurants, how the rooms are dilapidated and how there was no fancy drinks.
Maybe we are staying at a different All Ritmo with a Waterpark but we are currently being treated extremely well, the room is whay you would expect from a older ocean front room. The room is tile floor with splatter coat on the walls that has been repainted a few time over the years. The beds are 2 doubles which makes it a wee bit small for a bigger guy like myself. The balcony is huge and could have a bit party.
For the food we have only been here 3 days so far but ever meal is different and the seafood al la cart was the first time in a few years my son tried everything on his Plate. Portion size was on the smaller size but I'm also a 260lb larger guy.
We read all the horrible reviews on the Waterpark that was included and my only conclusion on this is either people are too posh for this place or making up lies to ensure it is less busy. My kids had a blast there for 4 hrs and the wife and I were drinking daiquiri, and Pina colada all atlfternoon. Food was a little lacking but for a family waterpark was perfect
, my kids both had a burger and large plate of fries and nachos with cheese sauce.
Lots of entertainment going on first night was some karaoke, last night was a disco or something.
We pre booked excursions to ensure our kids would have a great time but we could have just stayed in the hotel and went between Ocean, swim up bar and Waterpark.
I guess the only complaint the family has is the water is rough and there is seagumrum seaweed both of which not the resorts control.
Final point not related to ritmo would be to look up the reviews of royal holiday vacation club, this hotel is partner with them and you can sit through a pushy sales pitch and their sister property in hotelzone and get some free excursions. They also get you transportation to hotel zone and back, but make sure you do your own research before going to the sales pitch. The wife and I said no to this pitch.
It is necessary to invest a little more in the variety of foods, and the drinks at the bar,
Don't waste your money. The plaster from the wall was falling onto the bed. Cockroaches in the bathroom and in the room. The attention of all employees was terrible.
I would not recommend this resort. We had 2 rooms booked for a 1 night stay. When we arrived, we were offered to upgrade to ocean view suites for a fee in which we accepted. When my husband & I got to our room, it was dirty! There was clumps of hair on the bed sheets, hair in the bathroom sink & tub. Our bathroom sink did not work & there were times our toilet wouldn't flush. I informed the front desk about the room not being cleaned & asked to switch rooms (did not want to sleep on a bed with used sheets) & all they offered was to have housekeeping meet me at our room because the manager was not onsite. When the housekeeper arrived, I showed her the dirty sheets & bathroom. She apologized & replaced the sheets. The next day when we checked out, we informed the manager of our issues & asked if we could be refunded the amount we paid to upgrade our room. At first he said no because I should have said something right away. After I argued that we did come to the front desk to complain as soon as we got checked into our room, he agreed to refund me the upgrade fee; however, they would not refund the credit card that was used & on file & wanted me to give them my bank routing number & account number. I asked several times why they can't just use the card on file or swipe my card that was used to refund that amount & was told this was their policy. I obviously denied giving them my personal checking account information so did not get a refund. There was also a water leak outside several rooms, including ours, due to a pipe bursting. We took pictures to show the front desk but they didn't seem to care & nothing was done about it until the next morning. Don't waste your time at this resort! It is dirty, very outdated & falling apart.
It is a rustic resort. The service is good, and the rooms are the same as the photos. I love it
Excellent place to rest with the family
All Ritmo is me and husband,s favorite resort in Cancun Mexico. The staff is wonderful. It's a very nice family place to stay.
Very bad location, very simple rooms, the room gates in very poor condition, safe deposit boxes that are nothing safe, and regarding the beach, it has a lot of stones and too much sargassum, it makes swimming on the beach uncomfortable, Very bad experience staff, I recommend the Hotel zone more, it is more expensive but it is worth it. The only good thing was the food and the attention of the waiters.
Excellent place to rest with the family
The attention of all the staff was very friendly and attentive, I saw many negative comments, yet I decided to live the experience and I did not regret it. Foods with very good flavor, the only thing I think they should do in the future is a remodeling of the facilities.

The service was good, it's a shame about the location because it is far from the hotel zone. Otherwise fine. They fulfill what they promised. Buffets, snacks, drinks, etc.
