1st room
- Took 3 tries upon arrival to get a room key working
- Only a sheet on the bed, no blanket
- Furniture broken up
- Damaged walls
- Wires coming through broken areas of wall
- Shower leaked muddy sludge down wall after shower ran in room above
- Cockroaches
2nd room
- 2 cockroaches, but they did fumigate after I informed them and it resolved the issue
- A lot of problems with door locks, but they did install a new lock, which is still working
- Safe did not work, so they replaced it. I was told it would be a $3 fee per day for the replacement safe wth! The fee was waived due to previous issues I had.
- FYI..No dressers or luggage racks in any rooms
- Water leaks from shower above into my shower stall. I'm not even bothering to report this until I leave because I just give up. This is absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed.
The personals are very nice specifically those who are animated, the food in the buffet is not really good 4/10. They make you feel like family. I enjoyed staying there.
The hotel was as expected. The staff were very friendly and ensured we had a good time. The entertainment staff went above and beyond to create a great atmosphere for everyone. The rooms were okay for our stay as we were not really in them however they could be updated. Overall we had a good trip!

I only had one issue and it was my shower was clogged and it just felt like the room that I was checked in hadn’t been cared for in a while. It felt like a forgotten room. But aside from that everything was super amazing and wonderful!!

More chairs at the pool and at the beach would not be a luxury. Nice swimming pool. Staff ok. The food is good nothing more. The Mexico show is very good.
People reserve places at the beach and the swimming pool which prevents you from having a place at the beach unless you wake up at 5 a.m. to get a chair at the beach
In brief, if you are looking for relaxing and friendly place to stay, and you are right-minded kind of tourist and polite person, you going to fall in love.
Regarding some comments below: it's not true they don't give beach towel- just ask the personnel where to find it. Also they do have restaurants - there are three of them.
Extending the review ... Oh my god what a place! I must say that at the beginning I felt a little bit disappointed. After seeing hotels pictures I imagined more ... freshly look. You can say this place has the better days in its past, as we can read in their brochure they renovated around 2009 and you can tell. But although it could use some refreshment, the place is very clean and you can see the staff every day taking care of the surrounding . All the services is just as you can expect from all inclusive (keeping in mind that it's not one of the expensive place). There are three pools, three drink bars and two more self-service for soft drinks. It is true that more sunbeds would be nice, but this was an issue only on the rainy days when in short sunny hours every guests were coming to the pool/beach. Our room (standard) was very cozy and clean, it's true that the equipment was old but, lets be honest, Dominican Republic isn't rich country so unless you want to pay twice more don't expect much better. Food in the buffet was above our expectations, many local veggies, very nice desserts. One more pros is that every supper was other theme - Mexican, Italian, Dominican an so. Also entertainment activities was very pleasant though we weren't much participating. Last but not least... Staff! It's what really make this place worth visiting. So kind, happy, polite, helpful, just wonderful, beautiful people. You can be an introvert (as myself) and make few friendship during one-week stay. Enough to say it was the Dominicans who made us want buy a house in their beautiful country.
