Stayed at hotel for 10 nights yes its dated but it gave it authenticity Loved stayin there ideal location for gettin around on the local reggy buses or walking to oinstons .The rooms were cleaned every day and hotel was spotless. Our cleaner cato was so friendly and never had any problems with safety of our belongings .The bar staff were all friendly especially yvette john deborah and jennifer .The pool areas and decking facing ocean were ideal never had problem finding a sun bed .The sea was high so couldnt sunbathe on beach beside hotel but 5 minutes walk and there was a safe beach area .The menu was varied on an evening lunchtime menu was the same daily but lots of choice and was nice. Happy hour couple of times daily were very popular. Would certainly stay there again
We have just returned from our two weeks stay at this lovely hotel . The staff are absolutely brilliant and lovely . We was made so welcome I did not want to leave . This was my first time in Barbados but my partners second . Staying at this hotel made it more special . Our apartment was lovely cleaned daily by a very lovely lady . Thank you all very much . Keep up the excellent work and making us feel welcome in your beautiful country . X
Great spot by beautiful water!
Came for dinner only so i cant comment on the rooms but the food was beautiful
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
They are very accommodating and the place is super clean, they are always cleaning something which is great to see.
The pools are nice and the grounds are also well kept.
We were quite comfortable here for two weeks and really didn't want to leave. We would consider going back.
The restaurant food is hit and miss, the consistency isn't there.
It was quite obvious there were different cooks, a couple of nights the food was excellent, way above average. The rest of the time it was just ok.
The wait staff is to be desired, there are a couple good ones but many have attitudes and make you feel like asking for something is a burden. They often spend more time talking amongst each other than paying attention to the customers needs.
The beach access is hit and miss based on tides however it didn't bother us, when we did go on the beaches both were quite nice and not over crowded, at times we felt alone and like we had a private beach.
This hotel is a little slice of paradise! I recently stayed here with my 3yr old, husband and parents. We all loved it! They have a beautiful open air restaurant overlooking the ocean with a menu that changes every night! The staff were all incredibly friendly and made our stay that much more comfortable. The pool was awesome, lots of tanning decks as well as access to two quiet beaches. Rooms were very clean and we felt very safe here. We walked to the grocery store and oistins a couple times as well as the gap. When we didnt feel like walking we'd catch the bus, which was right out front of the hotel. Its not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but that's what we really liked about it. This felt like a true vacation. We are already thinking about going back next year!
We are staying at an airbnb in area. Decided to go to happy hour thought started at 5 based on post. Staff said 430 now. Was nice staff not that friendly.. had a BBQ tonight. I said to a staff member I see u have Carib beer on at 9pm special happy hour. He had no idea lol. Nice place need to advertise was not busy at all
Brilliant hotel, friendly staff, great location to go around places on the regga regga buses
Always an absolute pleasure to be staying at butterfly hotel, just the whole experience, staff are just outstanding friendly and this is our 4th stay here, it's central, and ticks all our boxes
Love Butterfly Beach. We are going back.
My friend took me to breakfast at Butterfly beach hotel for my birthday in 2022 and my family and have seem to have adopted it as our favorite place to be😊
Amazing hotel with breathtaking views of the Carib sea. Stayed there couple of nights. The staff is amazing. The restaurant is good. Its right on the main bus route. Watched the beautiful sunset from the restaurant.
No frills wins the day! Hey, you can always splurge if you really want to….but if economy is what you’re after, you will get courteous, accommodating staff, solid room and amenities with a decent bar/restaurant attached on the edge of Oistens!
Great bar with pub atmosphere. Super service. Happy hour at midday and 5pm. I didn't stay there.
Good tourist hotel, perfect location on an exquisite beach. Good service, good restaurant and you feel at home here! We would love to come back.
What a fantastic hotel food lovely 😍 staff fantastic
Poor information provided by staff regarding Christmas dinner availability
Service impeccable, cleanliness spot on location awesome food superb, prices in my view very competitive, cheaper than England to eat out
Very overpriced for the quality. It's an outdated hotel with basic rooms, especially if you are unlucky enough to get a room close to the main road.
Food was overpriced and cocktails were terrible. Staff were a mixed bag in terms of helpfulness - some good some really not.
Location is pretty convenient but there aren't a lot of good food options nearby so make sure to plan for that!
A bit outdated hotel. This can be seen in the rooms and the overall external appearance.
Well located for that. Diagonally opposite is a small supermarket and a restaurant. About 600 meters further there is a larger supermarket, a few small shops and right next to it the central fish market with many snack shops.
The hotel has a small beach, which unfortunately is difficult to use at high tide.
There are loungers around the pools, but we can't say whether these are sufficient when the hotel is full. It was good in the preseason. Unfortunately, as almost everywhere else, the loungers are already covered with towels by guests.
The breakfast is clearly aimed at British guests.
The dishes from the menu are okay. We didn't think the cocktails were that great. The price/performance ratio wasn't right for us.
The service was okay, but still has room for improvement.
All in all: Nice hotel for a few days.........
