You could have a better option than Camino Real for the cost of the rooms and what they offer you. It is almost the last hotel in the hotel zone, it is a very old hotel that requires a lot of repairs, the room they gave us facing the sea, the sliding door did not work to go out to the balcony, the toilet bowl came off the floor and was swinging The room cleaning service is not good, always incomplete, we had to keep calling to get towels or a bath mat. Jacuzzi unusable, pool very uncomfortable for adults due to the shallow depth, the sea waves are very strong, not recommended for swimming. Slow restaurant service. Our stay here was disappointing; Because of the hotel brand we thought it would be better.
Newly remodeled. The best hotel in Huatulco at the moment.
Very comfortable rooms with excellent sea views. For improvement: the bathtub did not work, the French restaurant was somewhat delayed in serving and the pool was dirty. The rest, perfect. I recommend them 100%
The view is beautiful, the rooms are of good quality, everything is very good and the staff is not to mention.

I really never take the time to make reviews but unfortunatelly staff does nothing to solve any issue.
Here are all my complains and hope it helps on your next holidays desition.
1. Internet is terrible. Sometimes you have good speed other days you get nothing. If you plan to get some job tasks during your holidays you will have to drive or take a taxi outside for a better connection.
2. You may expect a constant lack of towels in the pool so you have to use room towels to dry yourself and use the same ones once you get a shower at your room.
3. At the gym if you are lucky you get face towels if not go back to same issue as point No.2 (this was the minor of all the issues).
4. There is a nice frigo at the room. But it was broken, they took 2 days to get someone to check it. It was two days of constant reports and asking for a technician to review it, with no answer.
5. Breakfast. It was a buffet, but you must get very early if not, things start to run out and your buffet starts to look more as an American Breakfast (coffee and bread).
6. During and after so many issues I requested to speak with the manager who is a very busy person. So I left my phone to discuss all these bad feelings. However he/she never called back. This only shows the lack of attention you will get from top to bottom by the staff.
For the price VS service I would think twice in coming back or recommending this place.

It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel, high standards... But then in reality it fails and sometimes you feel like you are in a two star hotel. Obviously having the beach and nice pool gives you the feeling of enjoying a 4 or 5 stars. Just be aware of the waiting for dinner ( room service or at the restaurant)
Excellent place except that the restaurant service does not make the prices very high
I only went to the Bel la grill restaurant for the Saturday barbecue, everything was delicious, good service and the Chef made sure everything looked excellent.
We had a front pool view, an had the best experience to watch the turtle 🐢 hatch an swim to the see
2. I loved the pools, their concave shape, wide, not deep, very good for all ages

excellent cleaning service IT IS THE urban and natural PARADISE ITS ARCHITECTURE has hidden details
4.- The apartments are beautiful, well spaced, furnished, everything to live in, refrigerator, coffee maker, pans, iron, THE BATHROOMS BATHROOMS FOR the review, the detail of the MINI pool in the apartments, that was not what I expected

Home away from home!
Do not stay here if you smoke.
My only issue is that they do not allow smoking ANYWHERE on the property.
What this means is that you must walk ~ 1/4 mile up and down many flights of steps, hills, long driveway, etc in order to reach the busy road if you want to smoke
Each time takes ~ 1/2 hr, if you smoke 5 cigarettes a day that is 2.5 hrs completely wasted
This is an older but beautiful property that is extremely well kept however my entire experience was absolutely ruined - they should at least have a smoking area on the resort
Excellent place for vacation, good service and excellent rooms, food and drinks, first-class customer service
It is located in a beautiful location, both the beach area, food areas and rooms are very relaxing spaces. The beds are comfortable and the staff is attentive. That said, I would also add that the breakfast is unfortunately overpriced, charging 434 Mexican pesos per person, due to the lack of variety of food on offer and taking into account that there are no places nearby to have breakfast, it seems to me an ugly detail on the part of the hotel.
Absolutely stunning location, don’t waste your time with this accommodation, huge disappointment, service was even worse!
