Excellent hotel, pleasant treatment and a place to rest

We had a lovely time at this resort. Easy access to a public beach where you can see locals around enjoying their family time, which feels more like being in a community, rather than foreigners being excluded. Beautiful sunset everyday, kayak/paddle board is available for reservations. Food and drinks were great. Staff service were outstanding. Not a party resort, but if you like to chill out, this is the place. The room itself is a bit outdated, and the wall is thin, but it didn't bother me. Overall above my expectations.

Janil best bartender in the world
You should ask for the amaretto sour janil style
And the food is amazing

The pictures online or even on Priceline for that matter are not what you will see when you show up. The beach is a public beach and so crowded you couldn’t even go there. The area is very suspect and many grilling on the beach so the smoke blows into the pool area.
The whole place is falling apart, dirty and landscaping has not been touched for a decades. The pool was clean and the rooms were too. Service was good, luckily it was one night before heading home.

There was a girl who works overnight at the buffet restaurant who gave me something sweet for my hypoglycemia. Thank you, seriously

Unfortunately I give it 3 stars since the quality decreased noticeably from 2023 to 2024, a total change of staff, an arrogant and pedantic F&B manager, with a team of waitresses that works quite hard, and an exceptional kitchen team.
The reception left a lot to talk about, not giving any information about the hotel, only the room number and how to open the door, but nothing more.

The staff is from another world, the treatment is unbeatable. Excellent facilities, delicious food, activities according to the place. A place to relax and enjoy.

They stuck us in the smallest room ever. The shower was dirty, tile was cracked and the water just trickled from the shower head. It took then a day to move us to an acceptable room.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to somebody looking for a home base with a quieter atmosphere but wanting meals included. If you don't go for the meal plan you would need a car to go to restaurants in town. The beach is lovely although it is not kept clean of leaves like at other resorts. But I think this is more natural. All in all it is a quiet place and you sometimes feel like you have the whole place to yourself. I enjoyed sitting on the porch looking over the pool and reading when I wasn't doing an Excursion

played pool late into the night. good fun.

Beautiful. Speechless

We just returned from 11 days at Casa Conde and can’t speak highly enough of this resort! The grounds are immaculate and extensive. The property is long but not deep and every amenity is well placed. There are two large pools, each with its own swim up bar that are well stocked with fresh squeezed juices and top shelf liquor. No watered down drinks here!!! The pool furniture is comfortable and the house music is classy modern (picture modern songs by saxophone or instrumentals). We were most often alone or nearly alone at the pools and never experienced the large resort towel games. There were always chaises available and no need to save your spot!!! Personal speakers are not allowed thankfully!
The buffet is amazing and did not repeat any evening dinners during our stay. We did the a la carte restaurant one evening but really loved the buffet and never booked it again. The food was fresh and tasty at breakfast, lunch and dinner!
We have stayed at all-inclusives throughout Mexico and Curacao and this is definitely one of our favourites. The room (partial ocean view) was well appointed and Alexa controlled. Housekeeping was excellent and attentive to our requests. The only things we really missed in our room were somewhere to sit, and a full length mirror. The room had outdoor Adirondack type chairs but nowhere to sit with coffee, or to play cards in the room in the evening. The bathroom mirror didn’t allow you to see anything below waist level depending on your height. The walls are thin so be aware of your neighbours being able to hear your goings on 😉
There is a short wall that is well camouflaged by tropical cactuses that separates the property from the beach with a coded gate. The beach is public but gorgeous to walk or swim in. It is easier to enter at the far right end and quite lovely. All of the staff were amazing and try very hard with their English, which is more than passable.
Our only “complaint” would be the automatic scent sprayers in the lobby and pool bathrooms. The scent is faaar too unnecessarily strong. I had to hold my breath walking by the lobby restroom each day as it would literally make me breathless. In a day of scent allergies, I found this to be a major oversight… one that could potentially cause someone medical distress!
We spoke to another couple who were in the garden view rooms and would not recommend. They are close to the small street and well behind the main resort… almost as if placed as an afterthought. The master suites though… WOW!!! We toured one and just WOW! The pictures don’t do it justice. If you can afford it, book it!
This small boutique resort is a wonderful place to relax. There is a lot of natural wildlife (iguanas, parrots, parakeets, howler monkeys, tropical kingbirds, kiskadees, vultures, hawks, etc) and it is just quiet and pristine with wonderful staff and amazing food. I can be quite particular (some would say picky), but I cannot recommend this resort enough!

I had a Cold minty-lemonade, it was refreshing and delicious. The view of the beach was awesome! Definitely recommend it!

The resort is perfect. The accommodations, service and food was excellent. Excellent swimming in the two pools and the beach was fantastic. BUT...I was extremely disappointed with the front desk staff. They were business like and not friendly and inviting.. We arrived at 12pm and the paperwork was completed by 12:30pm which is good . This included a hold on my credit card . Unlike many resorts that I have visited, we were asked to pay 50-75$ if we wanted to use any facilities like the restaurant and the bar before 3pm. It was obvious that our rooms were ready but only made available at 3 pm exactly. After a long drive to the resort I felt disrespected and insulted that I had to wait till 3pm. Even worse I did not have any access to food and drinks unless I paid a ridiculous fee. At the time of departure the focus was on checking our rooms before the hold was credited. There were no pleasant goodbyes or even a wish for safe travels .

We LOVED the Casa Conde; exceeded our expectations greatly. We traveled as a couple in our late 20's and the hotel blew us away during our 7 night stay. Overall, the resort is beautifully laid out and thoughtfully curated to provide all guests with a truly relaxing experience. We found the garden view room we stayed in to be more than adequate and arguably a better location on the resort comparatively to the suites since the garden rooms are more isolated/near the front of the resort. Save yourself some $ and book the garden villas. The food was fantastic for an all-inclusive. The chefs did a great job changing up dishes each meal and the a la carte restaurant was superb. The selection of food is significantly better than what you'll find at the buffet. The pools are large and give everyone enough space to enjoy. Lastly, the staff at this resort is better than any hotel staff I've ever been around. Katherine, Susan, Ivan, Joseph, Isaias, and Fabiola were fantastic and helped us out whenever we needed it. We were very impressed with our stay here and we would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully we will be back one day!

Marvelous boutique hotel in the beach near Liberta Costa Rica.. charming location on a public beach. Great food and wonderful staff. Well maintained. We grabbed a master suite in a last minute deal and it is very spacious with many rooms.besidea the bedroom and ensuite. Huge balconies. There are more rustic rooms available but I'm highly recommended the new suites depending on price point. Lots of options form excursions through the hotel or local guides who hang out inmthe beach. Also recommend several hundred US dollars do excursions which average aroun USD 350.for.3 to 6 hours. Pura vida

Our first time in Costa Rica and my fiance and I loved this hotel. If you appreciate good food at an all inclusive then this is the place to be. The buffet did an excellent job at providing great variety and delicious food daily. The other restaurant was also delicious. The entire staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect right on the beach you couldn’t ask for more. Special shout out to Janil , Massiel, Cristina, Ariana, Yarellis, Jorge for going above and beyond making our trip feel special. If you also want excursions be sure to speak to Dennis on the beach or get a great massage on the beach from Rosa. Definitely recommend

The price was a deception, they gave me a very old cabin, there was no water in the sink, it was not as advertised in the advertising, the staff was very good, excellent.

Staff is very friendly, atmosphere is beautiful and the bar tenders make great drinks for an all inclusive. Food is also VERY good. Everyone works very hard to make all vacationers feel like royalty, and we definitely appreciated it.

The staff were attentive and friendly
Rooms large and well maintained
Food was fresh good and chefs attempted to deliver a good variety of dishes
Only downside was noise levels, constant loud music makes it hard to relax, especially late into the night
Rooms 501-504 are unenviably located in close proximity to both the sports bar and pool/TT tables. Can get loud.
