This is a budget hotel. It is much better to stay at the Las Brisas or Barcelo Huatulco in Tangolunda Bay if you can afford it. If you are looking for a budget hotel this is not a bad choice. It is located in Santa Cruz Bay where the cruise ships dock. There is lots of shopping and restaurants around.

Hotel very well located for water activities with different room options at a good price.
Everything is very nice except that they treat the gringos and/or Canadians like Kings, they tip one dollar and I tip 50 pesos and even then, the waiters don't treat you the same. but the hotel is very nice and comfortable, the food is very delicious.
Small room, being the family room it was very small
Beach club far from the hotel which I don't see as a problem since they have transportation, bad service from a waiter, if something can't be done you have to inform them politely however they are arrogant especially a waiter who was rude when asking If two tables could be joined.
Poor wifi network, they only commented that it did not cover the entire hotel, only the lobby.

I went to a buffet dinner that they offer in their event room and they give a presentation of the Guelaguetza every Friday, the dinner and the show were delicious

Room smelled of humidity, small size, they charge when you bring your own to the hotel's beach club, terrible wifi network, good location but the hotel itself does not have access to the beach
The person who got me attended my admission, apparently he was in a bad mood, it was a boy but I didn't see his badge, the orange juice was orange water, the orange water only had the color, the food without salt and they don't put salt shakers, the xhocomilk also has no flavor, everything is very discounted, you order a michelada and the same thing, a soda and it is pure still water, disappointing
All the rooms have bed bugs, ALL of them, we had a problem in our room and we recorded the bed bug, the solution they gave us was to change rooms. When we made the change, we checked the beds and they all had bed bugs and that was the change in several rooms and ALL the beds. They ALL had bed bugs

Everything was very good, clean and the staff were pleasant and very attentive...the only drawback is the internet!!!Super slow...😠. Everything else EXCELLENT!!!
The hotel is very dated, mostly the older building, there was a lot of noise coming from the parties in the lobby at night, the AC was noisy, the bathroom was musty, moldy, and smelled bad and there was a leak in the sink, there were holes and cracks in floors, the buffet is good but it used to be better. The price is kind of high for what you get. If you are on a bed and breakfast plan you can't bring your drinks to the hotel areas or you will get approached and ask for a fee.
The facilities are becoming overwhelmed because the owners keep building new room towers but no new bars, restaurants, or buffets so it's very crowded at breakfast hours with waiting time in the line of 15 minutes or more to get a table.
The pool has a lot of lost tiles so it's dangerous, which was not a good thing.
The hotel is kind of rustic and it's traditional for locals and recurring international guests, it is centrally located and great for walking to the surroundings. The staff is friendly except for an issue we had when they treated us very poorly. The beach club is good but the pool is very small and gets very crowded, the bathrooms are dirty because they are overwhelmed, we didn't use the shuttle, because we always wanted to see the sunset at the beach but the last shuttle had already left before it began.
I could give the hotel 3.5 out of 5 but unfortunately, we were robbed in our room by one female worker of the hotel. My couple and I noticed mid of our stay that there was money missing from our cases, the next day a suspicious female worker accessed our room at noon when the cleaning had already been done hours before, but she didn't knock on the door, she just simply opened the door with her master key and when she saw us inside the room she got nervous, nonetheless, she just simply enter our room and walk around the bed saying that she lost a document, she didn't ask us our permit to search for it she just simply enter the room with out our consent, we reported this serious issue to the management and security of the hotel, they started the investigation and conclude that indeed she entered our room when she was not supposed to do it (the logs were stored an read from the lock) but they could not prove that she was the thief so it was the word of the female worker against ours and that she was recently recruited (yes she was a rookie) and firmly denied that she steal our money. In the hotel facilities, there's CCTV, however, in the aisle where our room was located, there was no camera..... So everything sums up, this female worker didn't have a career with the hotel, she indeed entered our room when she was not supposed to but there was no 'proof'.
It's a shame because the hotel didn't take responsibility for the issue, the management staff didn't help us at all or at least took action against the female worker.
They don't have lifeguards. That limits them. On none of the beaches/bays do they have lifeguards. That's from the devil
Room without internet access, they offer you a beach or club service but they remove the lounge chairs at 6, they tell you that the service is until 8.
They don't offer everything they promise. BE CAREFUL with that.
Furthermore, the reservation you make through the page is not very reliable. They had to ask me again for all the information because they had not been able to locate the deposit (it was done by transfer)

It is a very nice hotel, the service is good and it has a very good location, I highly recommend it, when I visit Huatulco, I will stay there again!!!
