An old hotel on the shore. Very worthy for such money)))

All very poor quality

Hello, is this hotel open? I booked through an agency on 7/28

Unsanitary personal room nice to take you a maximum of money everything is shenanigans pity to be very careful !!!

Very dilapidated hotel, no hot water, see no water at all.
There is dampness and mold everywhere.
The pool was put into operation after 4 days.
It is open to the public who leave beer cans and others there...
The staff is very numerous and it can be helpful if you grease their dough.
As in all of Cuba, the staff is very kind to offer you money exchange, taxi, tobacco, rum or other "black" arrangements.
The hotel is a good half hour from old Havana, so plan a co sequent budget for the taxi.
We had to get angry to have a correct and varied catering service with main course and dessert (thank you Raul and Hiran)
The tablecloths were dirty.
In short, we absolutely do not recommend.

The attention was incredible, the room quite acceptable, clean and tidy. The pool was not working, the facilities lack maintenance, the carpets need urgent change. Although the internet had to be notified to activate it, we never lacked it. Varied and abundant breakfast, quite good dinner.

I'll cut it short so you can read it right away.

!!THERE IS NO HOT WATER!! The sheets, pillows, bathroom and everything else is not cleaned, only straightened and left. The air conditioner does not blow hot, if you go during the cold period, it is a problem. There may not always be enough food for breakfast. Too much wind noise. If you're already gone, sleep with a little undershirt or something on your pillows because they're dirtier than they look. Don't pay attention to what they say will not come with hot water.

Terrible, bad smell, terrible, bad treatment

The exceptional treatment received, the unbeatable desire to please us, the spectacular human quality. The service and installation, deplorable. What a pity. I'm not going back. I do not recommend it at all.

Hotel is out of order/service, people who work there has the best intentions to help, but water ,internet, TV signal doesn't depend on them, AC never got the room cold, wifi was only for three hours and only in the lobby. It's sad but true, Hotel is in ruins, I went and couldn't rest, I was transferred to another hotel.

I stayed at the Chateau Hotel June 9-16 with my wife and two daughters. I wonder how this hotel is still open to the public. The conditions of the hotel and rooms were horrible!!! The air conditioner in the two rooms we stayed were not working properly. We asked new rooms and when changed we had the same problem that was not solved by the hotel administration because I guess they do not have rooms with good air conditioner. The beds were hard, the rooms were humid, the carpet in the hall was dirty and stained, we found a cockroach in our room, and every time we shower the water would run through the wall to the front door, and none of the sliding doors were working properly, so we had to sleep with the sliding doors in our rooms unlocked the whole week. NASTY!!! The only good thing in the hotel was the people who work there who were nice and very professional. It is a pity this hotel has so horrible conditions, because it has very good location and great potential!

Awful! Terrible!
The carpets throughout the entire hotel are disgusting -- more dirty and stained than you can possibly imagine -- probably hasn't been cleaned since the 1970s! It stinks of mold and mildew throughout.
They put me on the 4th floor even though the elevator wouldn't go to the 4th floor -- and there were only 3 or 4 other guests in the whole hotel!!!
I did love my balcony, which had a great view, but the 3 or 4 guests staying in the hotel were forced to leave because of a storm, which created a major flooding issue.
There was NO HOT WATER! Literally had to take freezing cold showers!
I did like some of the staff. The food was pretty terrible, though.
I don't know... it's Cuba, so you expect problems, but this place was just way too dirty and problematic. It's only a 5 minute walk from a really great hotel and a decent one too.
I guess if they replaced all of the nasty carpets, fixed the elevators, and fixed the hot water issues, perhaps it would be worth a stay since it is cheaper than most other hotels...

Had a large suite, with comfortable big bed, on top floor with good views from the balcony. Spent a day by the.pool which was popular with locals having family lunches. Was able to snorkle next to the.hotel, with a foodmarket 700mm away. Wifi cards at reception and wifi in lobby and pool..Breakfast included with a wide choice. The room was tired, could have been cleaner, water pressure was weak and cool, and an extra pillow would have been good but it was fine for the money.

If there were a rating system to show negative stars; it wouldn't be enough for this hotel. Every morning my husband woke up to new bug bites on his arm and face. The hotel was filthy dirty, the entire stay I never witness a single housekeeping staff. Several of the staff members; I noticed stayed overnight in the lobby and worked more than 12 hour days, but no cleaning. The lighting was horrible; several areas thoroughout the hallways had no lighting at all. There is no WiFi in the hotel not even for purchase as there was only 1 computer which was monopolized by one guest. I would not recommend this place; it is a total dive and should be removed from any site as a habitable place. The pictures that are being shown are this site; obvioulsy were taken years ago or perhaps those rooms are closed off to the paying customers. They are not a true dipiction of this hotel and they should be removed.
