Run down. Doesn’t clean rooms unless you ask before 10am the day before.

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice staff. We didn’t walk to Disneyland but others that did said it was a 20 minute walk. ART bus stops right in front of the hotel. It’s a good location across the street from the Toy Story parking lot where you can catch a free shuttle. Would definitely stay again and yes the hotel is outdated but we only slept there.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location to the Toy Story parking lot. You’re able to walk to the parking lot and ride the bus to the main gate of Disney, however when we asked about this “hack” the front office had no clue what I was talking about. Luckily Reddit saved the day. Our room was extremely outdated and not clean. Hair on the bed and crumbs all over. The bedding is all paper thin and not comfortable. The toilet stopped working and just constantly ran it was annoying and sometimes made the toilet unusable. The shower tub creaked every time you moved and it felt like you were going to fall through. The bathroom doesn’t have a vent fan and it makes it quite difficult to get a whole family ready before heading out to the park. I get that a hotel around Disney is just a place to lay your head but this was not the place to do that.

Clean, near parks. A little dated, but for the price, it's all we needed. 5 minutes walk from the Toy Story shuttle.

Stayed here for the Disneyland Half Marathon events. Wasn't bad - my only complaint was the size of the actual washroom. Very small and old. The water had good pressure though. Beds were super duper comfortable.
Walk was about 10-15 mins. Same amount of time to the start lines for the races.
Parking was free because I booked with Disney.

stayed in this hotel back in october because it was the cheapest during halloween time and my friends and i did a totally impulsive disney trip. checking in took a while but i don’t really blame the staff because it seemed like they were short staffed at the time. the hotel is VERY dated. sort of a mildew smell throughout the room and the bathroom area (especially the shower/toilet room) was very cramped. the plumbing wasn’t very good and the toilet was very sensitive and was constantly clogging up. there was one small vent above the toilet that my friends and i were 95% sure was filled with mold. i have asthma so i was probably effected the most but about the second night i started having trouble breathing and the worst sore throat. throughout the days at disneyland, i felt fine and had no other symptoms. every night coming back to the hotel the sore throat came back and i even started coughing. my friend and i had experienced having mold before, so we’re pretty confident that’s what it was. after checking out of the hotel, any and all symptoms were gone within the next 24 hours. overall, the location and exterior of the hotel are nice, but that’s about it. plumbing, interior, and furnishing all need a lot of help. amazing location nearby disney, and if the hotel was redone and updated, i know it would do great. but at the end of the day, we got what we paid for. if you can afford even a little bit of a nicer hotel, i’d say it’s a good idea.

Overall, we had an enjoyable time, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The the rooms were clean. It was just a little run down and out of date, we had a mini balcony, about a foot wide and 6 feet long. Just enough room to open the door and get fresh air. The rooms do have a fridge and safe as well. Overall it was a good stay. The rooms were quiet and they offer free breakfast to children. The walk to Disneyland takes about 10 minutes. Or you can pay 6$ per adult for the Disneyland shuttle that stops at the hotel each morning.

Although the building is old, the employees are very responsive.

If you're trying to stay within walking distance of Disneyland, this is about as far as you want to go at a mile. Across the street to the east is Toy Story parking, and a free shuttle from their to the park doorstep. The hotel has been comfortable, nothing fancy. Very large fridge, and there's a Target and Walmart about 5 miles away to stock up on things to take to the park.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. You can walk right across the street and hop on a shuttle to Disney. There are tons of restaurants around as well. However, the rest is questionable. Stayed here over the weekend friday through Sunday for a girls trip. The rooms are what you would expect, simple, and what you need if you're going to be at the park all day. What ruined this stay for me was the experience. There was throw up on the floor of our room when we arrived. THEN, After our first night we woke up to black sludge in one of the bathroom sinks. It was smelly and very gross. I let the front desk know and they gave us free breakfast (which is nice because breakfast here is not cheap and it's basically the breakfast you get at any holiday inn). After having an amazing day at Disney after reporting the first sink, we came back to some black sludge in the sink in our other bathroom sink ( we had 2 rooms). This sludge filled the sink half way, was black and was bubbling. When we spoke with the night staff member he really had no empathy and no sense or urgency in getting this situation remedied. He ended up changing our rooms but having to repack and move all our stuff at 2am and move rooms was insane. Nothing I've ever experienced in 40 years. It took EVERYTHING in me to stay professional. We spoke with the operations manager in the morning and were given the option of free breakfast again and comped parking or they could comp one night of our stay. And while I am sure this is the best he could do, but this solution was completly unacceptable. You book a room, expect to have atleast a safe and comfortable stay and when that doesnt happen it can really mess up your entire trip. We are now waiting to hear from the GM, ww were rold by the operations manager she would call but we have yet to hear anything. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING HERE.
This was one of the most displeasing stays I've ever had and working in insurance I know there are some serious liability issues with what was in our sink. Hoping none of us get sick and Hoping for a good resolution but we will see.

Great location for Disney parks and I'd say the hotel is ok. Probably in need of an update, the rooms are a bit tired now. The bathroom/shower in particular in our room was dated and quite poor. However staff were great when we needed them and being so close to the parks was a big plus. Residents parking just $12 a day for our stay. One "hack" for Disney visitors is that to save a 25 minute walk to the park entrance is to walk across the road into the Toy Story parking (5 mins) and jump on the free transport bus to the park, and back again at the end of the day. Saves time and gives your feet a break from some extra walking.

This hotel has a great price performance ratio. Clean rooms, everything was good. Yes the rooms are dated in design as some reviewers stated, but everything was clean and in good working condition.

As I entered the lobby, I was greeted by the receptionist with a huge smile and "Welcome, how can I make your stay great." In all my travels, this was a new experience. The hotel was clean, friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast had a bit to be desired, although service was excellent.

Stayed here for my disneyland trip. It was about a 8 minute walk from the park, and one of the lowest in cost (with it being near Disney and in Cali), for our last minute trip. The hotel rooms are out dated. The bathroom are very small. I will say the It very clean. The staff keeps the rooms and Lobby clean. The counter staff was great and professional. The area is safe, No-one is hanging around outside or on the sidewalk. Plenty of places to eat near. C.V.S and Walgreens is about a block up.

If you are looking to recreate that 1960s Disneyland vacation, this is the place for you. I don't think the hotel has been updated since then. Its in a good location with respect to the convention center and the park, but that's really all it has going for it. The bathrooms are very dated and gurgle from neighbors flushing and showering. The water pressure and temperature is also all over the place. The place needs a serious remodel. I would not choose to stay here again, but I made due with what it was.

Namm show I parked in the lot it was perfect.

Nice but outdated

The Clarion exceeded my expectations, it’s not some lavish and modernized hotel but it serves its purpose as a safe, affordable and clean place to stay if you’re going to Disney.

The thing that stands out is definitely the service. The people at the front desk were great and the house keeping was even better. Most hotels don’t offer daily housekeeping anymore but the Clarion does so your room always feel clean after a long day in Disney.

The walk to the parks can be a bit grueling but if you want to catch the bus at the Toy Story Parking Lot it can save you time and your legs if you’re overall tired.

We will stay here again if looking for an affordable hotel to go to Disneyland.

I stayed here for 3 nights to go to Disneyland. On the last day, my friend and I fell asleep due to the fatigue of the day and woke up an hour past the check-in time. Despite the inconvenience caused, the hotel staff made an effort to have a conversation using a translation app and gave me 30 minutes to prepare without any additional charges. I was able to check out. Even when I left the front desk, they greeted me in Japanese.
It was difficult to use the shower unless you researched it carefully, but we didn't have any problems as we were only there for a few days. The sheets were changed every day and I felt very comfortable.

Good place for stays at Disney, just 3 blocks from the entrance to the parks, everything nearby, grocery stores, pharmacies, places to have breakfast, all within walking distance.
