Very nicely located hotel by the sea, all inclusive resort, only for adults. Complex complex with several pools and a beautiful sandy beach. There is even a small waterfall and a pool with mineral water. Restaurants complete the picture. Food excellent! Here you can enjoy your vacation and hardly have to worry about anything. Towels for the loungers are provided...etc etc...and James Bond was here too!

Only one word for it, WOW!!!!

Couldn't recommend it more. If you are after a relaxing holiday then this is for you. Rooms are very spacious with comfy king sized beds and a balcony with 2 futons and a table and chairs. Mini bar. Massive shower room.

We decided after sooo much rain that we needed a break from the UK , and last minute booked the Sans Souci for a ten day stay. What a great decision ! I also read the reviews and it came highly recommended. It was a bit more expensive than some other holiday destination options but we were so glad to have picked such a great resort for our first trip to Jamaica. Its smaller and more intimate experience, relaxed ambience, and the wonderful staff who are genuinely happy to see you and thank you for visiting their beautiful country ! Come on we were glad to be here !! The beach , pool area and food is fantastic with a very good choice available , the water toys are all available , even scuba diving is part of the all inclusive package . Dunns River Waterfall climb is a must do excursion , and the River Rafting experience was excellent too. Evening entertainment was great and represented a nice Caribbean vibe. The resort is built on a hill , so a lot of steps and would not suit everyone. We had a beach front apartment at the bottom and didn't bother us too much . The resort is well laid out with a great spa , mineral pool, nature reserve and a good shop on site for souvenirs (don't forget it has a downstairs area for clothes purchases) . Jamaica is also safe to visit . The stand out comment echoed in lots of reviews is the lovely relaxed nature of the people of Jamaica , the staff were first class and we will definitely return some day. Testament to the reputation of the resort, we met a number of couples who had returned many times , as much as 35 times , that tells its own story! Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so memorable. Only downside is the professional photography pictures were expensive and the externally arranged catamaran cruise (via Tower Isles Couple Resort - sister site just down the road) that we had to pay for ($78/ each) was very disappointing and expensive , considering guests at the Tower Isles didn't have to pay anything , as part of their own inclusive package .

We chose to get married at our first visit to CSS. Not only did the whole wedding go smoothly, but the food, service, weather, and hospitality were top notch. We felt so spoiled the whole time. The people (employees and other guests) were so wonderful. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Resort was full but felt peaceful and quiet cant wait to go back staff was awesome and took care of you fully.

Our trip to sans souci was beautiful. The resort is a lot bigger than I thought it was! There are a lot of stairs. This may not be suitable for individuals that cannot navigate stairs. Our room was spacious. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I was a bit disappointed that the pent house we booked didn’t have a hot tub. That would have been a nice bonus. Our water pressure was non existent for almost our entire stay. While maintenance came in several times it was hit or miss we had to wake up early in order to take a shower. They gave complimentary champagne and a chocolate cake. While this was a nice gesture these items are already included in the stay. At no point did they offer to move us rooms or cover an excursion. It’s expensive to go on vacation and not having adequate water is just really unacceptable.
Service here is great. All of the staff is super friendly. Food is good. I will say Casanova is by far the best restaurant. The food at the other locations wasn’t always hot. But having room service available was nice. There’s loads of activities here that are such a nice touch. I love how secluded the location is. It’s extremely quiet which provided such a nice and relaxing trip.

Fabulous retreat for Couples with amazing staff and food

We had an amazing 2 week stay at the Couples Sans Souci in January and February.

The resort is right on the main beach with a separate Au Natural beach called the sunset beach for nudists.

Our suite was in the Evergreen block and had a very large balcony with a table and chairs plus 2 sunbeds. Room was large and comfortable. You can order room service food for all meals, included in the room rate. We used the drink ordering service to have a bottle of rum and several bottles of French sparkling wine in our suite during the stay, all included.

There 3 high quality restaurants which all are Al la Carte food in the evenings.  The main restaurant has buffet selection for breakfast and lunch with great choice of different types of food to cater to all tastes. In the evening it becomes an Al La Carte with an optional salad buffet and pasta station.

The beach restaurant does snack type food at lunchtime such as burgers, sandwiches and patties for example. In the evening it becomes an Asian restaurant with a selection of food from India, China and other Asian countries.

The Casanova restaurant is only open in the evening for a more formal Al la carte menu including Fillet steak and Lamb. There was a different ambiance here, with a live pianist playing generally in the back ground. We also loved this restaurant.

All the food was very high quality, beautifully presented and delicious.

All of the staff were so friendly and very helpful. On our first morning when told Tamesha that we do not drink coffee and tea but like hot chocolate, she went out of her way to make us a hot chocolate using cocoa powder and hot milk. The rest of the stay if she was working at breakfast, even in a different section, she would come over and offer to make us hot chocolate! It was made exactly how we like to drink it. We could not have asked for better.

Our house keeper, Sheryl, kept our suite in immaculate condition for the whole stay.

On Tuesday they held a Jamaican themed evening and Friday a Gala dinner, both held on the main lawn next to the main beach. The food was buffet style with tables of 6. Which was a great way to meet your fellow guests. Lots of food choice on both evenings followed by entertainment on the stage.

The wine is a good standard cabernet sauvignon, merlot, sauvignon blanc, etc. Spirits are real brands like Tanquery, Grey Goose, Appletons. The serving staff in all the bars were very friendly, asking how your day was going and we were served quickly and efficiently.

The resort has a no tipping policy as tips are included in the room rate. We did not see anyone tipping but service was excellent at all times.

We used the Scuba Centre as we are qualified experienced divers and found everything went very smoothly on all the dives. Equipment was good quality and dive guides, Leon, Kemoy and Andre were experienced and friendly, and the boat captain's Christopher and Leon were very experienced.

We used the Gym and found the equipment to be high quality and well maintained.  Once finished in the gym, there is a veggie snack station, next to the gym and mineral pool, serving shakes and snacks like hummus with pitta. Some days they had fresh coconuts and cut the top off so you can drink the milk straight from the coconut. Very refreshing.

There was some entertainment every evening mostly with the house band, which are very good, as backing to professional singers.  The singers varied in quality in our opinion particularly the Bob Marley tribute which was more of a disco set with some Bob marley tracks, which was a shame as looking forward to seeing a Bob Marley tribute.

I would point out, that as the resort has stated, it is not suitable for people with less mobility. There are lots of steps to get around the resort and none of the blocks for the suites have lifts, but only 3 floors anyway. We had no issues but something to be aware of.

We would have no problem visiting again in the future.

Lovely small resort for couples

If you ever want to know what it feels Like to be cradled in lap of Luxury.....THIS IS IT!!! Unpretentious, classy, Sophisticated are a few of the words that come to mind, when I think of Couples Sans Souci. I am always blown away every single time I stay here.

Couples Sans Souci was an absolute dream! It exceeded our expectations in every way. From the people, food, entertainment and atmosphere, every day at Sans Souci was special. We cannot wait to return to our new “family”. One Love!

If you love nature this is the place food was so so but property was amazing 👏

My wife and I just returned from our stay at Couples San Souci. We loved every moment of it. The property itself is fantastic; it's like you're living in a jungle. The size and age of some of the trees on the property is astounding.

The beach itself is set on a private cove, so while you can't walk endlessly on the beach, the privacy of the cove is beautiful.

The staff and people are perhaps the best part. Every person has a huge smile on their face and willing to help.

And lastly - the food. For an "all-inclusive" resort we didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food everywhere was delightful.

We will be back for sure.

Pro-tips:
- Beach-side jerk chicken/patties at the beach-side bar
- Book restaurant reservations as soon as you get there. Bella Vista restaurant (Asian-focused) on the beach is a must.
- Go into Ocho Rios one day, but booking the 'shopping trip' with the concierge. They take you from the resort at no charge. Go to Ms. Tee's restaurant and get the Oxtail!

We spent a week a here and wish it could have been longer. The resort is beautiful. Our suite had a magnificent view. The food was great and they supplied a wide variety. They had some kind of event for us every day which was welcome but not expected. The staff separates this place from all others. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and actually seemed to care if we were enjoying ourselves. They asked our names and then used them when we saw them again. Truly unbelievable service!

My spouse and I just got back from a vacation at Couples Sans Souci and we have nothing but good things to say. If you’re on the fence about whether it’s worth the money, do it, you won’t regret it. When we were departing to come back home, it felt like leaving a second family/home. The staff were beyond amazing. The food was incredible, not one meal was less than great. The resort was so clean and beautiful, many options of things to do including excursions at no cost. They also have the nicest resort gym I’ve ever seen, lots of machines, weights, etc. and it’s ocean front! We already can’t wait to come back to our second home.

Hotel located on the north coast of Jamaica. It has a beautiful private beach and various outdoor swimming pools. Nearby you can visit the Dunn's River Falls which are a marvel. Ideal for couples looking for a relaxing holiday. Stayed a few years ago 'We hope the pandemic ends soon so we can return as it is an excellent facility.
