This was the most disappointing vacation I have ever been on. Starting with the staff... Unpleasant!! Unless you have cash hidden in hand, don't even expect a smile. All of the beach bartenders were downright rude.
Room service staff were in our room multiple times even though the DND sign was on the door. We noticed it was ALWAYS after giving restaurant service our room # as we entered to eat. Water sports staff.. RUDE!! Coffee bar staff.. RUDE!! Sports complex and "spa" were run down & unimpressive. Stuff there were also RUDE!!
Unless you are a repeater that is slipping 20's in the palm of each employee, you are basically of NO importance. Even the repeaters are RUDE!!
The rooms, only thing worth mentioning was the water pressure. Great water pressure. Everything else, mediocre. The pool by the Palms was dirty all week. The beach???? We have cleaner beaches in USA. Wasn't impressed. It's basically just a huge litter box for all the strays. WEAR SHOES, or you'll end up with parasites.
I wouldn't return if someone offered all expenses paid.

Lovely hotel would highly recommend 👌

I thought the people that worked here were very rude. It took pulling teeth to get drinks in our room. I actually asked a guy that worked there to see if he could get my some beer and he actually got me some. 1 very nice guy. I thought the place was very old and needed many updates. There was a chicken bone in the Jacuzzi and I saw a few workers walk by and look at it but did nothing. Also the other Jacuzzi was a joke and had absolutely no pressure. I won't be back.

The facility is okay, but is already very old. By European standards it is more like a 3 star hotel and therefore the extremely high room price is not justified. The pool area is not particularly attractive and the rooms are nice but very basic. The location right on the beach is very nice.

Good resort. Good food, only complaint is no coffee service until 7am. We enjoyed our stay

Very nice setting. Loved my room. The dinner buffet was very nice.

Going again next year

Please bring back the cabana grill. Disappointed with scotch bonnet.

Location, Beach and facilities fantastic.
Room was average and even though was meant to be a newly refurbished it felt dated and had a leak from the Aircon above the sink, also room near the road is noisy I did ask to move but they said they had no vacancies.
Food was generally very good and staff ok.

Amazing holiday. Beautiful resort stunning beaches and the best staff ❤️
Memories to last a life time. Thank you

The sand is perfect. You can go for long walks down the 7 mile beach. The resort itself has a unique layout and I love it so much because it doesn't have the hotel vibe feel (unless you stay in the great house) The buildings have 12 rooms roughly and are scattered throughout the property filled with greenery and beauty. A great gym across the street where you can have a jig or walk on trail that is surrounded with beautiful views. We have stayed over 100 nights at this resort. It is very rustic and romantic. If you are looking for glitz and glam, you may be disappointed. The food is great. Feathers is my absolute fave and the dinner on the beach with a private server is always an experience like no other (there is a cost for that) The rooms are simple and clean. They have all you need. The beachfront rooms are steps away from the beach. The sunset catamaran cruise is included and runs 5 days a week, it is fun. You need to book in advance. I recommend booking it when you get there as it can fill up, it also cancels if the water is too rough which would require you to have to get it rescheduled. The piano bar on Tuesday and Thursdays are the best nights and lots of fun. All in all you can make this trip as busy or laid back as you want. It is truly all inclusive. Oh yeah, they offer free transfers if you need them and your package doesn't include them. Just go and have a blast Once you go, you know. 🇯🇲

We stayed at Couples Swept Away in June 2022, marking our first visit to Negril. Booking the romantic dinner by the beach was a delightful experience. The beach itself was stunning, with clear water and white sands. While the rooms were somewhat dated, they were well-maintained and cleaned daily. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. We were one of the youngest couples (both 30 years old) at the resort. We appreciated the non-tipping policy, which meant we didn’t have to carry our wallet everywhere. However, it's worth mentioning that the resort is due for a major renovation. Additionally, the beach vendors were annoying, being loud and persistent in their sales pitches, which detracted from the tranquility of beach relaxation.

If you look at the price you would think that this is a special hotel. Unfortunately we are far away here.
The beach, the sea, the extra activity (paddling, etc.) and the food are very good.
The room is where the fun and relaxation ends!
The first two rooms we got were very, very loud because they were positioned next to a generator or whatever was behind the locked doors. In the third room we had some peace and quiet. In each room it takes upwards of 5 minutes until the warm water is finally there. They don't know how to print water here. The bathrooms smell like MOLD. The room itself is also moldy. Our mattress is dusty and dirty, even though they supposedly clean it every day.
The contamination and mold continues happily on the balcony.
For this price it is an absolute disgrace!!!
All in all, the hotel is getting too old and in my opinion it does NOT deserve this number of stars
Extremely disappointed with this “dream vacation”.

Best beach on earth! Can't wait to go back again and again

The absolute best vacation! From the staff, to the food, to our bed, beaches, excursions, drinks, entertainment etc. 10/10!!! I cannot wait to go back!!! Go see Shania at entertainment and Oshane at Lemon Grass!!!! Every staff was amazing but these 2 stuck out!!! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Everything about this place was just "ok" except for the beach (which was amazing). The median age is about 50-55 and we are in our mid 30's so it was a bit of a surprise to us that we were one of the youngest there (and minority).
FOOD
I would give the food 1/5 stars. I was really looking forward to the food and it was a big disappointment. We barely even got reservations into the 2 restaurants because they were booking out 3 days in advance. They had to make special accommodations for us. There was literally nothing special about the food there. The buffet was where we ate most of the time, but it didn't have very good food.
ROOMS
The rooms were ok, but the shower did not drain properly and there was water all over the floor. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up but never did. The resort is right next to a really busy road and you can hear all the traffic at night because there is no insulation and gaps under the doors. It's very loud at night when you're trying to sleep. The bed and pillows were also really uncomfortable.
SERVICE
The service was pretty good but not the best we've had. All the bartenders are fun and nice, but the restaurant staff is a different story. They seemed like they didn't want to be there. The taxi prices are RIDICULOUS. $30 for a taxi round trip for 5 minutes up the road to the craft markets.
LOCATION
It is the prettiest beach I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of beaches. However, be prepared for the long ride from the airport to Negril - it's about 2 hours away. The ride was interesting because there are so many unfinished houses in Jamaica because they can't afford to finish them. They work on one room at a time and then save up for the next part, which could take years or decades. Lots of buildings with no roofs/windows and very run down... even across the street from the resort. Everyone warns you to stay at your resort, but I promise you it's safe for tourists. We left the resort every day and went exploring. All the local people were really great and fun to talk to. The only bad thing about the beach here is there are local Jamaicans who walk up and down and basically harass you to buy weed/gummies. That was pretty annoying.
All in all, we really enjoyed Jamaica but I think if we went back we would try to find a different place to stay at.

One of the most beautiful facilities on Negril's long beach. The rooms and terraces are spacious. Could be modernized a bit. But the entire system makes up for it. Because you can find shade on the beach under palm trees and you don't need a parasol. Very good. The food is extremely fresh and varied from breakfast to late dinner in various restaurants. All alcoholic drinks such as good cocktails and wines are included in the hotel price. The hotel is overall expensive. But in addition to all drinks, it also includes countless water sports such as water skiing, diving, sailing, free every day if you want. The hotel also has a very large sports facility with many options. Tennis and golf are also possible every day. The hotel offers good music shows and events in the evenings. Even daily. We felt comfortable there.

This is a nice vacation resort but I don’t recommend getting married here. I was extremely disappointed in the way they handled our wedding. There was no rehearsal. Our rooms were never cleaned before 4pm including our wedding day. My wedding dress was dropped off in a dirty room. Our room was never decorated with flowers or a congratulations sign, nothing. The lady who did my hair and makeup did everything in her power to make me feel awful. She made comments about my hair, eyebrows and skin. She was extremely rude. She was frustrated with my hair texture but also refused to use hairspray. There was a wedding literally RIGHT before us. (Our wedding was at 5pm & there was a wedding at 4) The photographer also did not let us know that my husbands shirt was out (even though we specifically asked) so his shirt is untucked in all the photos. Also security gave my off-site guests a hard time getting on the resort. They would not even allow them to come to the front desk to show their passports. They seem to do alot of weddings, which makes it disappointing because they do not put any care in making the day special.
