Beautiful resort. My daughter and I went to look around and enjoy some of the delicious beignets

Really loved our stay here. It's kind of off the beaten path. Aside from the minor inconvenience of some construction, it was quiet where you want it quiet, and lively where you'd like it lively.

The rooms appear to have been recently renovated. Only real complaint for the room was the shower area, it honestly felt like a motel 6 at best. I'd expect nicer everything for that price point, or even Disney in general.

The service was wonderful. Everyone was extremely nice and went out of their way to help in any way needed.

They have several quick service food shops, a gift shop which sells everything from bathing suits to alcohol, a bar, and plenty of sitting area to enjoy your meal.

The pool and hot tub are great. Nice slide for the kids (and adults) to play on.

Bus transport available to all parks. River transportation to Disney Springs. The river ride was enjoyable.

All in all, will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Some of the staff were rude and unhappy to help. They made us seem like we were a bother. But others were very friendly and helpful so I gave 3 stars.

Just visiting on the way to Disney Springs. We did stay once before visiting Disney and it was lovely. This was a convenient stop to get to Disney Springs from the park.

So beautiful and quaint!

Beautiful property and immaculately kept grounds. As French quarter is smaller than Port Orleans, all rooms are within very short walking distance from bus stop, lobby, restaurant and cafe. Rooms are clean, refurbished and Disney moderate level in their amenities. This resort is especially suitable for Disney fans who also enjoy a quieter resort. Absolutely loved the option of taking a boat to Disney springs in addition to bus transport.

There are currently renovations happening so there is a LOUD repetitive beeping starting at 9am, and lifts all over the property. It's made the resort not very restful and somewhat inaccessible. The rooms are also very outdated and VERY basic. There are no microwaves in the room either. I wouldn't choose this resort again.

So serene and quiet! Grounds were well kept, playground and pool were easy to get to and had plenty of seating. Parking was plentiful and didn't have an issue finding a spot. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Everyone was very helpful, and nice. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and inviting.

Clean, very comfortable beds, beautiful resort. Can't wait to go back

We absolutely loved POFQ. We've only ever stayed at Pop Century before. So this was our first time here. While the disney themeing wasn't as out there as Pop Century there were mice touches of disney sprinkled throughout. What we liked most about this hotel was how peaceful and small this resort was. It was a short walk to the lobby and bus stops. The cast members were always super friendly and helpful. The lounge was nice the bartenders and waitress were all super friendly. The best part of this place is the Beignets!

Southern charm and hospitality! This is my favorite Disney property to relax at for a few hours after a demanding workday. The atmosphere is permeated with jazzy music, the nostalgic smell of beignets in the air, and New Orleans styled architecture and themes, but what sets this property apart from others are the cast members (security guards, entry greeters, dining staff-cooks/cashiers, grounds keepers, etc). There is a family vibe that is truly felt all around because of them and the moderate size of the property gives it a feeling of home. I'm grateful to be so warmly welcomed, remembered and cared for every time I visit. They truly care for their visitors and guests. Special thank you to Hanaa for the beignet gift and Magaly for the wishing coin for the fountain - both graciously received yesterday, and they were put to good use! (I am sentimental and don't take these acts of kindness lightly for they are very cherished gifts to me.) For almost a year, I've found great solace here to ease my transition to Orlando and also served as a getaway during the afternoon/evenings after my first place became uncomfortable to dwell (my new place is much better). So when I don't feel like going to the busy Disney parks but need to have some out of the house time/be around others, this is my home away from home to go find a spot to journal, read books, go for nature walks, sit by Poseidon as I reminisce on that special day I was water serenaded by his neighbor with Ariel's voice, or take relaxing boat rides to Disney Springs. I've also found that this property attracts friendlier guests so it's a pleasure to be around more fun loving families and seeing them happy. In terms of authenticity, Port Orleans - French Quarter is the pure version of New Orleans - French Quarter, which I love. I frequent NOLA very often, but sometimes the energy and environment of the real city can be overwhelming, but Port Orleans is my peaceful place minus the spirit activity. Also, it's good to see Princess Tiana showcased and honored in the forefront more recently (much needed for her home). (I'm a blend of Ariel/Tiana/Moana.) Bonjour and Welcome Home!

The only complaint I have is do not trust the opening and closing times on the Disney app for when the restaurants and bar open. Everything closes at 10pm even though the app claims it’s midnight. Also the “Scat Cat Lounge” isn’t the cute little bar it used to be with live jazz. It’s just a walk up counter for food.

While I have enjoyed our stay, the price for rooms at Port Orleans (and nearly all of the Disney resorts, are prohibitively high for what you get. The rooms are very basic with minimal theming. The only transportation outside of busses is a boat to Disney Springs. The food is pretty good! If this resort was about $50 cheaper a night, it would be a good value, but as it stands, it's the same price as a cruise but offers far less.

Place is really fun for the kids and decorated so cute. The rooms are pretty small and the parking can be confusing. Sometimes your room is far from where you park. The pool is currently closed down. But when it’s open it’s a wonderful place for family and kids to swim, play and hang out. Would go back again.

I like everything about it except the rooms, one, the shower is confusing, also it didn’t feel homey, it just felt like “ here, sleep on this bed so you can get rested for Disney world” I would prefer maybe a curtain in between the beds, and maybe each room could be unique, like a princess room or a stitch room. Lastly, I know the nature is beautiful and the geckos are cute, but I don’t think the ants need to be inside. Every time I went to the bathroom and went to wash my hands, I saw an ant. Not very pleasing since you don’t know if they are in the towel. But this review isn’t all bad, in fact, I want to mention the excellently kept pool. It always felt clean, even at night. The slide as my daughter said “it’s fun” and she tried to convince me to go in. The breakfast is superb in every way. All types of food and beverages.

We were staying at Riverside but went to French Quarter for beignets

The noise level is always low and the grounds are great for relaxing

Beautiful place. But construction in pool area. Some bars are relocated due to construction.
