Not exactly what we expected. We've stayed in many Hilton hotels over the years. This one threw us for a loop. I will start off with the staff - excellent service met our needs promptly and genuinely. Thank you. Re-reading the write up, we noted the non-tower rooms had outdoor corridors. There were no photos depicting this. Had we realized this, we would have booked in the tower or at another hotel. Parking was not free, but we did know this already. The room wasn't the greatest, not the cleanest. The only elevator for our building was two buildings down; otherwise, we could only use the stairs. My sheet didn't fully fit the mattress and was torn, but again upon request, the staff promptly replaced it. The wall heat and A/C unit needed cleaning but worked. Every so often it emitted a foul odor. The toilet/shower was a tight fit. For the money, I guess this was a good value but wasn't for our family. Like other reviewers, we found the carpet wasn't clean, though appeared to at least have been vacuumed.

Customer service friendly, at the front desk the rooms big and beautiful, clean and alot to do have music by the pool, steel band awesome music

Hard to rate because the location and grounds were fine. The room in building 10 was worn out. Doors that wouldn't close, drains wouldn't drain l, room was dark seemed dirty. Tried to order a pizza and had two numbers that wouldn't work. Couldn't reach the front desk. I expect more from Hilton, but avoid this place.

Huge property with several separate buildings in a good location. Breakfast is decent. Parking can be challenging but overall, recommended.

Basically this is a big motel 6.
Very disappointed and suggest to avoid.

The room smelled of mold so badly! My asthmatic child both nights went immediately into coughing spams when we got inside. My family even noticed when they came by my hotel room, no coughing all day and non stop coughing in the room. The mold could be smelled from outside of the room. It was disgusting! My sister couldn't believe that was a double tree hotel room.

Have just checked out of quite possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in.

For the price I paid the rooms were drafty, didn't block out any noise from outside and were dated and run down.

Never was able to use the lift on site we would wait about 5-10 minutes then give up and carry our stuff up the stairs.

The drinks vending machines on site were always sold out no matter what time of day.

The communication from staff was the worst I've ever encountered. We were told on the first day that we needed to put a security deposit down that would be held for the duration of the stay.

We put the deposit down then with about 3-4 days to go they take another pending transaction putting me into overdraft without any notice and there explanation mounted up to "oh that's just how it works".

I ask if they'll take any more pending holds, they explicitly tell me no, until I get charged again with no notice the very next day!

No apologies given, just a "that's how it goes".

I also asked the concierge if they could sell me a discovery cove ticket which when I got there turned out to be for seaworld child access so I get scammed out of 84 dollars and then had to pay 260 ish dollars on the day. Oh and of course they won't refund their mistake as they make sure to put in the ticket that it's non-refundable and void after the time allotted.

And to top it off we asked yesterday (day before checkout) if they had a scale to weigh our bags before we go, they say "yes it's in the bellhop room".

Get to today (leaving day) they then say "oh it's not there anymore, it's in the ups store but that's closed all day, but you can go x miles to the other shop if you need to"

This place feels like an absolute bait and switch scam, I never want to come back to this hotel. And If I could get my money back I would with the amount of money this place outright cheated and lied me out of.

too much name for this Hilton hotel, old and ugly, dirt in the hallways, mosquitoes in the room, they charge 30 dollars for parking per night, the pools are very small, you will not find a beautiful and big pool in this hotel. The cleaning lady knocks on my room door at 9:30 saying it was time to check out when check out time is 11:00. I made that report in the front office. I will never pay $200 for an old room again.

I stayed here for one night only for a conference held nearby so I did not have much time to experience much of the hotel. Overall, the room was fine and the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating.

It was great to have a made-to-order omelet for breakfast (complimentary breakfast buffet) instead of the rolls and coffee offered by the conference. Though I would recommend going earlier. I was there at 6:30 and had most of the place to myself. By the time my colleague joined me at 7, the line for the made to order items was too long for her.

Biggest drawback to the place was the check in process, as specifically parking. I tried to use the app to go straight to my room but that wouldn't work. There was absolutely no parking anywhere for the lobby. I finally went in to the guest parking area thanks to an accommodating service attendant, parked, and then put the parking pass in the window after I had checked in.

I've added pictures of the room. I got a kick out of the placement of the microwave in one of the night stands. Though I imagine it would be difficult for some to access easily.

The hotel lobby and outdoor area would make you think your room is going to be amazing. Room was outdated and disgusting (carpet and air quality). It’s very close to Aquatica and SeaWorld. The front desk service was good, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because of the room.

Excellent place, I enjoyed my stay here too much!

Clean and quiet. Nowhere to plug in the coffee pot (had to set it on the floor to make coffee. Had to buy water to put in it because only sink was inside the bathroom). All the electrical outlets were loose. Would stay again.

A little dated and worn from high use.

Overall a great value and good amenities.

Great place to go and not have to leave property for food or activities.

Walking distance from SeaWorld. Beautiful large rooms. Great amenities. Kind staff.

The staff is attentive and tries to accommodate - still needs some fine tuning

My agency booked travel for a work event at this location as it was close to the convention center. I was charged over $80 for some sort of “resort fees” that were not disclosed up front. I checked in, was given breakfast vouchers, and that was it. I don’t understand why this hotel is considered a resort, it’s a very low to mid grade hotel. Upon arriving, the internet did not work at all in my room. I was given a different Wifi information, and it still wouldn’t work. I requested help again, and they said a “technician” would come to my room to check the router. That never happened. I was unable to access wifi and get work done, and left with a silly additional charge.

Light flickering like crazy in bathroom.

I came into the Doubletree Hilton SeaWorld after driving from Maimi for 5 straight hours. I reserved the room for the 14th because it wouldn't let me on the 13th. The night "supervisor" decide to berate, get loud and disrespect a loyal Hilton Honors member. I have never been treated with any type of disrespect until I had the unfortunate experience of kindly asking Jarik Johnson for an early check in. Only because he told me he had 3 CLEAN ROOMS!! He said I don't understand his Words. I understand they are hostile and uninviting. Maybe he couldn't hear my pleas because of the 2 ear pods he is wearing as uniform. Maybe he didn't hear me or he doesn't like people of different races or sexuality. I am horrified by this treatment. Hilton Honors Gold doesn't mean anything at the Doubletree Hilton SeaWorld with Jarik behind the counter. Joy told me it was okay and she would call the front desk. After an hour of me doing unnecessary WORK CALLING HILTON to just go to SLEEP. Over dedicated years of being a member I'm sleeping in my car in front of the hotel instead of being in a bed I paid for. 3 open rooms!! It would be just as demoralizing to go to my restaurant and I have three open tables look at Jarik and Joy in my lobby and say. I have more important people that might need this table. Discrimination doesn't look good on Hilton Honors #Hiltonhonors #imnotworthit #tired

So disappointed with the quality and service of this hotel, for what you pay you would expect A LOT MORE! Not worth the money!!! We came here because of the convention we were attending chose this hotel, we thought it was a good choice because of that fact, and booked the rest pf our stay here for 1 week, great mistake! ROOMS SO OLD , like a MOTEL, if you’re not in the tower Forget it! Besides that, cleaning the room meant making the bed, and clean toilet that’s it!! No moping sweeping, dusting or changing linen, forget it! We ran out of shower gel and even though we told the maid and left the bottle in the sink we never got more :( .. our room at the end was soo dirty, we didn’t feel satisfied or comfortable there. They only have 1 restaurant on site and at least the breakfast buffet (only thing we tried) was awful, like in an all inclusive hotel. We regretted having paid in advance the whole stay and not being able to move somewhere else!!! WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! Choose somewhere else to stay!
