"Just go-all is good. From a amazing check in procedure, excellent standard room, perfect beach with bar service, amazing pools, fantastic food and a great staff. Weather is hot and sunny and the ocean is clean and warm. Local towns are clean and fun with lots of fishing and jungle trips available. We were lucky to see Hump back whales, dolfins and sea turtles on our fishing trip. Tino was our guide and was excellent. Will go again next year. Crowd is mostly middle aged but has a good mixture of young couples and families as well." [...]

"Huatulco is a great destination, safe & friendly. Dreams sometimes rated a 5* but not quite there in my opinion. Food again good but not 5*. Very clean and staff 5* without being intrusive. Beach very nice but not Shoal Bay or Reduit in St.Lucia. Would I return? Yes!! but would would probably try a different resort. Stay away from the 90 minute presentation - a waste of up-front money - You can get better deals at Escapes.ca with less hassle and put that up-front money to better use!!!" [...]

"Dreams provided us with a great holiday with the staff so friendly and most spoke very good english. The first two days the beach was black flagged and off limits but the pool area was abundant. We took a cattamaran boat tour to the hidden bays and loved it with whale and dolphin sightings during the morning. We were moved to SECRETS for the last 3 nights and this 12 week old resort is ultra new and worth every penny...adults only also. The rebate on the price protection already arrived and we love your total services." [...]

"This is our 3rd time visiting Dreams Huatulco and we love it. The staff are wonderful, always cheerful and very helpful. The resort is very clean as are the rooms. We enjoy walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean for most of each day but always end off with an hour at the adult pool as the sun is going down. We will return again next year." [...]

"We travelled to Huatulco April 5th ,2011 and stayed two weeks. On the way from the airport to the hotel the guide was very informative. One of the things he said was that Huatulco was prone to earthquakes. We thought nothing of it. On the 2nd day there, sure enough, we had an earthquake that sent everyone out into the walkways. We later heard it was a 5 on the richter scale. It did put some excitement into the day. The rooms are very nice, clean & modern. Bathrooms were great with a rain shower that was the best. Still think about it. Very good service with friendly and accomodating staff. Beach was one of the best that we have been at and we have been at quite a few resorts in Mexico. Surf can be crazy , and the day of the earthquake, as well as the next day, it was pretty wild. Every day except for one, had a red flag. Not a lot to do here, definately not for singles. We went into the small towns of La Crucecita, and Santa Cruz a few times. Snorkling in one of the bays was a lot of fun with loads of colorful fish. Fishing with Tico, who we met on the beach, turned out to be a great day and I would reccomend him to anyone. He was a great Captain and we ended up with a mahi mahi, some of which we took to the resort and they cooked for us with the rest going to Tico and his helper.( It was very good) We also caught three marlin. which we released. Altogether a great day on the water. The only thing that I can complain about at this resort is the food. We have been to a lot of all inclusive resorts in Mexico and this was by far the worst. The breakfasts were good but lunch & dinner in the buffet were pretty bad. The ala cartes were better. The Japanese, which we ate at a couple of times was more like Chinese but the food wasn't bad. Also Portofino's was o.k. as well, but when you are staying two weeks it really got old fast. We ate three times in La Crucecita and the food was great. La Creme was truly an expierience right out of the 60's (not the cleanest place) but the pizza's were made right in front of you and the large wood oven turned out a great pizza. The Onix was fantastic, wish we had discoved it sooner. Appitizers, drinks, lobster dinner & dessert all for under $40.00. Really good food and worth going to. Leaving was not a great expierence either. There were six of us and one couple were only there for a week. Their flight was delayed about 6 hours and they were informed of this and they were allowed to stay at the resort for dinner and didn't have to leave until around 8pm. The next week the resort was filling up with a lot of families as it was a spring break in Mexico. When we were to leave, the hotel was completley booked. We learned that our flight was delayed a couple of hours or so Sunwing told us. We got to the airport about 6pm only to discover that we wouldn't be leaving until 11pm. We discovered that they had known this all along but as the resort was full they had shipped us off to wait at the airport. Not cool! Would I return, Probably not and if we did only for a week unless they improve their food." [...]
