El Cid Castilla Beach Hotel Vacations

4.3 - 10252 Reviews
Mazatlan, Mexico
This 720-acre all-inclusive is practically a city unto itself, with its own Golf & Country Club, huge swimming pools and Aqua Sports Centre, along with a diverse selection of restaurants and bars including nightly dinner shows at the La Pergola Theatre. There is something for everyone at this lively hotel.
Location: Beachfront and within walking distance to the main shopping and dining district of the Golden Zone.
Our Opnion
The best family resort in Mazatlan, nice beach, amazing pools, great food and selection, limited bar options outside of the pool area, but the pool itself, the beach and the excellent service more than make up for it. This is a large hotel, but it has a down to earth?family feel to it. The rooms are a little outdated aesthetically, but they are absolutely immaculate. Definitely one of the best hotels in Mazatlan.

The location is very good, it has a view of the beach and a large pool, but since it is shared with the guests of the Moro and Granada, the pools and restaurants fill up on weekends.
The food is tasteless, we prefer to go out to eat some days.
If you buy an all-inclusive package, they still charge you an extra charge per day at reception that includes WiFi and parking. The snacks still have an extra cost.
The younger waiters generally treated us very well, but there were others who ignored you or took a long time.

They charge an additional 250 per night to improve the experience but the safe didn't work, the air conditioning didn't work, the telephone extension didn't work, the coffee maker was dirty with the previous guest's coffee and the late check out thing is a complete lie. To make matters worse, they deactivated the cards at 11am and someone had to go to reception wet to see that they let them into the room. If they wanted to improve the service they should review all those aspects instead of charging 250 pesos per night because in the end neither the cashier nor the late check out thing worked. Thanks, maybe I'll come back but I don't think I'd recommend them.

Wonderful place to enjoy with the person I love the most and who is an important part of my life MY WIFE!!!!

The place is old as hell.....the service was awful, the rooms seem to have better days, overall the place is meh! Please don't stay there!

Excelent service

Very good atmosphere

You can use the facilities of the other hotels. They have good service and it is centrally located, the only thing I feel they have to improve is the pool towel service, which runs out quickly. From then on everything is super good.

Everything was super 🤟

It is one of the best hotels, the waiters are incredible and their food is delicious.

Nice room, many pools, everything very good 👍🏻
What I didn't like is that if you want Wi-fi, they charge you for it 👎🏻

Very nice hotel... very comfortable..... good service.... and next to the sea... 👍

It's been a while since I had a good time

Excellent hotel and personalized service

It is a good hotel with an incredible view, good food and it is very comfortable, good location. The only problem we had the last time I went was that it took them forever to let us into our rooms. Beyond that, I highly recommend it.

Hotel complex made up of three very spacious units, clean, safe, varied breakfast-lunch-dinner buffet, excellent service, excellent location, varieties, activities

foods good, service is great, rooms are great.

Terrible service, we just went, they charge you for the internet (not everyone uses it, we bring data or internet packages in the Mobil) they charge you for parking, they also charge you if you were to go to the other facilities (whether you go or not, they will charge you They charge) the rooms are delivered to you until 4 in the afternoon and if you have to deliver it at 11, the food is terrible for the restaurants you take a reservation which by the way is not easy to find a place or time they put my obstacles in the last one you choose for not going anyway......

The hotel is old and expensive, they charged me a fee that was never explained to me, only that I had to pay, they woke me up early just to charge me something I didn't owe and on top of that they disconnected my internet for which I paid separately for that service. There were no towels or beds available, they deactivated my keys, I would never return or recommend it. There is not good service for the capacity of people that the hotel can receive

It's good but it needs to be more frendly
