The staff is most attentive, at no time did we feel that they gave preference to foreigners (we have been told that in some hotels they don't even fight you for being Mexican). They should only improve the food at lunch time, as I felt they were exactly the same as what was served in the snack bar, we loved the live music with saxophone. And improve the WIFI since it doesn't work in the rooms (it didn't matter to us because we wanted to disconnect). I would 100% return to the hotel 🫶

I can't speak to rooms...ate here have stayed in other 2 Solaris next door. However the restaurants here are wonderful. And it's Solaris.

Highly recommend!!! Lovely resort. The staff were so friendly and great with kids. Very, very clean rooms. Our room was just a few steps to an awesome beach area. Enjoyed the water aerobics, theater, music, mini golf and kayaking that were all included. The Caribe side is more mellow and the Solaris side is more lively. Kids loved the beach and designated kids water park and jacuzzi. Food and drinks were good- especially loved the pizzeria. The only thing I wish was enforced was a no saving beach chairs rule. People put books and towels on all the poolside beds and chairs early in the morning and it seems they rarely become available.

Payment is made in time and upon reservation. So many years and they don't get better.

For a 5-star hotel, it had details that make the difference, such as the simple toilet paper that could be double sheets, or the quality of the towels, but at least we had a good experience in terms of facilities and food.
The room we had was of quality, without humidity or noise, well done cleaning and supplies every day (towels, soap, minibar).
The food was also varied and tasty, the burgers next to the pools you could assemble to your liking and they were very delicious.
The hotel has direct access to the beach, and fresh water showers when leaving the sea and entering the hotel, it also has chairs and lounge chairs to be in the sea, under the shade and in the sun.
Very friendly staff too.

We were here in December, service and food was great. 2nd time for us to visit this resort. Except this time my husband's Lacoste Tshirt and another fancy dress shirt got stolen. Won't be returning or recommending this resort anymore.
Initially my interaction with Solaris was great. My husband and I planned to visit for our babymoon in February. We booked two months out and were informed that we had until a week before travel to cancel and receive our deposit back. A month before our travel date, I had been given a directive by my doctor not to travel due to my rough pregnancy. I reached out to Solaris immediately, who told me they would no longer be refunding my deposit. I told them I could provide documentation from my doctor, and Alexander, the sales rep I was dealing with told me they don’t sympathize with women who have tough pregnancies. I requested multiple times for a manager to reach out to me and it never happened. The best Alexander could do was allow me to use my deposit as a credit within two years. However, I have ZERO intention of ever traveling to a Solaris resort in the future due to the lack of professionalism, and how unsympathetic they were to my tough pregnancy. To anyone considering traveling to this property, stay far away! They don’t care about you or your family. They’re just money hungry.
Update: 3/12/24: After reading the response from Solaris, there still is little clarity as to why a manager never reached out to me. (After many requests) However, I'm certain I will not be traveling to Solaris in the future; as this was not deemed non-refundable over the phone when we booked.
The place is beautiful, with simple and beautiful access to the beach, excellent food and very friendly and hard-working staff. Interesting events and public transport from the hotel zone passes right in front. Without a doubt I would return!
There were two elevators, only one worked , and the elevator would always stop on a floor instead of going to the floor you want it. Don't recommend a place with people with bad knees. There's lots of stairs everywhere.
All inclusive package was worth it to stay. Food and drinks were amazing and staff very friendly if you tip them. Ocean View was awesome from the hotel
This hotel I believe has cetain history based on the greek design, wont be rated at above 4 stars if it doesn't share the management and facilities with Royal Solaris next door and the Club Solaris. The restaurants and serivces are above 4 stars definitely. The beach which is only few steps from hotel is really nice, combinations of gradient green and blue color with very fine grained white sand, but it was pretty windy and most of the time in red flags.
The best service you can ever ask for. Staff was friendly, helpful, fast, and treat you so well. I was there with my husband and one other couple. We went to dinner at Marco Polo restaurant and our services was amazing! Our server name is Dolphin. He was so sweet and funny! Help picked out what’s delicious and they were all delicious! Another person was our personal bartender his name is Jesus. He was the cart bartender. He made us the best basil margaritas or some sort of drinks. But it was the best and our favorite drink during the whole trip. These two staff made our vacation the best vacation! Thank you!
