Small hotel, with elevator where only 2 people can go up. Clean room and good location, close to bus stops.
2 out of the 4 front desk people I encountered were very rude, so I believe the service needs improvement. My biggest gripe is the fact that they decided to renovate the room next to me, starting at 7:30 am on a Sunday! It was great to wake up to loud bangs, drilling, and yelling while I’m trying to sleep. Why on earth would you place a customer beside a room that you’re going to renovate?? Very inconsiderate and poor planning.
Aside from that my room smelled musty and had a gross smell coming up from the drain in the shower, probably piping issues. Walls between the rooms are also extremely thin, so you can hear everything going on. The breakfast was decent compared to everything else, but I would never return or recommend this “hotel”.

Super location, and the AC worked. Unfortunately that is actually the only thing that is really good about this hotel.
The rooms are super small and outdated, you can hardly leave your stuff anywhere. The toilet brush looked like it hadn't been replaced since the year 2000. There were holes in the sheets and curtains, and the floor didn't look like it had been mopped. There were stains on the walls, and cheap stickers of the skyline peeling off.
In addition, the hotel does not have "do not disturb / do not disturb" signs at the door. In other words, housekeeping comes in whether you like it or not. We had to request the reception several times that we did not want housekeeping to come in, this was only listened to half the time. Totally no respect for your privacy.
They do want you to hand in your room key every time you leave the hotel. When you come back, you can wait in line at the reception to go to your room.
The only lift they have only fits 1 person, maybe 2 if you are very narrow, so you still have to walk up 4 floors after a long day. Breakfast is only until 10am which I think is very early.
It's all just so underrated. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel that does meet some standards.
The location is very good. It is true that it is about 2km from the Seine but nevertheless you are close to other places like Moulin Rouge. Nearby there are many shops and restaurants. You can walk everywhere and if not you can take the metro. It is a renovated hotel. The rooms are very good. It is a quiet hotel and you have breakfast service in the hotel itself.
The hotel is centrally located, close to the metro, restaurants and cafes. We got around easily and walked a lot. There are rooms that are really small, it is worth upgrading to a more spacious room.
The hotel staff are charming! Very kind, smiling and pleasant. It was important to them that we were satisfied, including the manager.
First of all I would like to say that our room was clean. But it didn't have much more to offer. The bathroom was really tiny. The shower was open plan so my husband flooded the bathroom the first time he showered. We had also booked breakfast. But this was more like underground. The baguette and the rye bread offered were so hard that we feared biting our teeth. And there was no more bread or rolls. And a sort of cheese and 1 sausage is probably very poor for a 3 star grand hotel. Only the croissants were really good. But at least we still had a good connection to the metro. Otherwise I would not go back to this hotel. The price/performance ratio is absolutely not right.

Holes in the sheets, musty smell, impractical shower (water everywhere when you shower and no carpet, therefore extremely slippery), old damaged furniture, the bedroom door difficult to open, complicated booking system ( heaps of messages from the hotel without tails or heads), in short to avoid

A super nice hotel! Super friendly staff and super reliable. The prices of the rooms are fair because you will hardly find such a good location and beautiful rooms for so little money in this city. With family or alone you can easily visit all the sights and monuments as well as other beautiful places. Totally recommended for everyone.
Good location. The illumination of the street is also beautiful at Christmas time. However, there are also suspicious shops in the Pigalle area. Close to bus stop and subway station. Close to your favorite cafe. Because pigalle station is near, it is range on foot to Sacre Coeur temple.
The room and breakfast are fine. Don't expect too much. Drainage in bathtub is very bad. I stayed 4 nights, but when I returned to the room one day, there was a (large) in the toilet! Isn't the cleaning person using it and flushing it? It was shocking.
