Hilton Anaheim Vacations

Anaheim, United States
Anaheim’s largest hotel is located next door to the convention centre and has been recently transformed from top to bottom. World-class amenities and a 10-minute walk to the entrance of the Disneyland Resort® make Hilton Anaheim the ultimate place to stay.
Location: Next to the convention centre and 1 block from the Disneyland Resort®. 56km from Los Angeles Int’l Airport.
Our Opnion
A large resort located close to Disneyland and right next door to the convention centre. If there is a big convention going on this hotel can get crowded, but it is still a good option. Modern rooms, friendly staff and a good location. This hotel can be more expensive than others in the area, but it is a higher star rating.

Room on the 12th floor, not guaranteed that you will have a warm shower, dresser has one draw that opens on its own, the other one is sticking. Furniture is old and used, toilet lid has a crack, and the food is just so sad.

Customer service/Front desk: 5.

Location: 5.

Room: 2 (Small and not clean).

Cleaner screw: 2 ( room was unclean).

Bed: 3 (Old).

Bathroom: 2. Unclean.

Parking: 3 ($ 24/day). I hope the elite members has a free parking.

Service to Elite member: 3 (Occurred twice in Starbucks. An exceptional was the barista saw me waiting too long, he asked me what he may able to serve me. This kindness with a warm cup of coffee… I’m the only one in the line of Elite members. The registers saw me, ignored and told me to wait. While they serving the non elite members came in after me. I hope this is not racist due to my ethnic background.

Elite check in early: Will cost greatly. I’m travel for work and not pleasure.

Executive lounge: Not available.

Over all rating is: 3.

Especially if you compare it with a similarly priced hotel in Asia or Oceania… Like a trip to the last century! (And not in a quaint, historical way…)

You can walk to Disney. There is a Starbucks and a food court in the hotel, and you can pay with Apple Pay. I stayed in a twin room and there were plenty of outlets.

Perfect place to stay when attending a convention at the convention center. The rooms need a little TLC but they were ok and the bar downstairs is a great place to meet with colleagues after a day at a convention.

Sat on this review for a few months, I stayed for a conference in November, I was honestly wondering if they would reach out to remedy any of the issues that I had brought up but I guess not!
Abysmal customer service and dirty/old hotel. Do not spend your money here, it’s not worth it and nobody is willing to accommodate anything (nor are they friendly about it).

Night 1, my sink began leaking, and they sent maintenance up who tightened something and wiped the water and said it should be fixed. Tracked mud all over the bathroom as well. When I tried the sink again, it continued to leak underneath. When I went down to ask for a new room, I was told they were “overbooked” and to check again the next day. So day 2 I wait until after 12 noon, after messaging them on their app per their advice, and go to check between my conference. They tell me they can’t do anything yet and rooms for me aren’t available although the night before she had put a “block” on a room for me. I’m told since I had booked a king room I have to wait for a king to be available, even though on their app they said to come down because they could switch me. I was told that room is probably already gone and that I need to come back after check in time. At this point I felt like a major Karen and asked to speak to a manager, but actually never had time to do that, nor did they seem to care much or follow up- I was literally having 12 hour conference days and needing to deal with this. So I gave up because I did not expect the manager would do or say anything differently. Finally after 4pm I got my new room which was better, but as others have mentioned these rooms are extremely dated, old, stained walls and carpet, the bathroom setup is weird, uncomfortable beds and pillows, the towels are threadbare….I spent about a thousand bucks here for my conference and I have never in my career been so disappointed by a convention center adjacent hotel. Why would they not update this at all? It’s very unclear. Even the hallways show their age and lack of cleanliness.

In addition to that, the line for the only actual coffee shop (Starbucks) in the hotel/by the convention center is literally out the door at 7am, it took 20-40min each day to get a latte. They also cannot get your order right, and because they’re part of a hotel they won’t take your Starbucks rewards or anything. The breakfast sandwiches are NINE TO TEN DOLLARS and the lattes are marked up about a dollar as well.

We were able to walk to Disney (about 20-25 min) but there are hotels much closer and probably much nicer for a similar to better price.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a hotel I’ve stayed at for work, so that should impress upon you how obnoxious this experience was. I think a lot of this could slide if any of the employees cared or were interested in customer service but based on reviews I saw they were also recently striking, so clearly their workplace has needed some adjustment. I also think it’s quite ballsy to require people to pay $20-50 for an “early check in” (1-2 hours before the standard time) and a late checkout- I was told it’s a $50 charge after 12 noon that increases every couple hours. This is new at many hotels as of Covid it seems but for this hotel in particular. For 1-2 hours of late checkout, in California, I’ve never had to pay. Also a dollar charge to hold your luggage whereas I’ve never paid for luggage holding at a hotel before. Yet, here we are.

The location is right next door convention Center. The hotel is a little run down and does need updates. Rooms ok, but again, it needs to be renovated. I was here for a work conference. The staff was polite and very helpful. Parking was also great and easy.

The room I got had a majorly clogged tub. I only found out once I was taking my shower. By the time I was done the water was 4” up. Very gross. They said it’ll take just a few minutes to fix. They did have someone up within 10 minutes but the whole process took 1 hour. First someone came to fix the drain and kept all the dirty equipment on the vanity counter where my make up bag, brush and toothbrush were. Then they leave a mess and send someone to clean up and he shows up with a spray and a cloth. No brush or disinfectant. Then the same guys gets the clean towels wearing the same gloves he cleaned the tub with. I had ordered some room food service and ended up eating it 1 hour later….COLD. Very upset with this service. Feel the room is dirty and stinky.

Room was clean and comfy! Enjoyed my stay!

Room was clean, staff was friendly, location is excellent. Sucks paying for parking but that is normal in popular areas. 15-20 min walk to Disneyland. Only wish I had microwave for my room.

Excellent place to go excellent staff

This hotel is overpriced for the quality of service that was given. Pictures did not match the rooms and every room given to us had some sort of water leak. A weekend vacation to Disney turned into a nightmare. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying the night. There are other hiltons that offer more for the same price and the same distance.

Rooms are little outdated but very clean so no big deal. The Disney view is not great but gives you more privacy. Walking distance to pharmacies, restaurants and Disney. Corteous staff. In site store and restaurants.

More of an open setting in the lobby but so many little nooks and places to wander off to

In a premier location next to Disneyland, this hotel has turned into a dump. I have been Hilton Honors for many years and because of the lack of maintaining hotels, I have been switching to Marriot Bonvoy. The rooms have moved to a quality below being tired. They don't even give water bottles, good riedence. I will use the rest of points and be done. The only salvation for this hotel is to close for a compete remodel. I will now wait for the bot to respond with same thing they say to every disapointed visitor

Fantastic staff and service. The rooms are quiet, breakfast is delicious and the Hilton Anaheim stage for NAMM was hosted ultra professionally by everyone involved. Can’t wait to see you all next year! Thank you for having us

Price, location and service all at good to great level. However, hotel rooms have seen better days. Air inside is stale, dusty. Room furnishing is outdated, dirty to the point it was really unpleasant. Unless refreshed I will not come back to this hotel.

Superb. NAMM show excellent atmosphere.

I had such a great stay at the Hilton Anaheim! The location was convenient, and the Starbucks in the lobby saved us so much time!

Amazing Just wish the drinks were not Ripoff prices.
