As Hiltons go, it was a great experience. I always enjoy my Hilton stays when working. The rooms were clean, comfortable and on the 7th floor, I had a fantastic view of the ocean. The restaurant is decent with meals prepared decently quick and good variety. Unfortunately the hotel's location doesn't leave many other food options within walking distance but still worth the stay. Taxi rides are readily available for any traveling from the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions over the last two years for both business and holiday. It is incomprehensible how the services are getting deteriorated. I have booked ocean view standard room from their website. When I arrive at the hotel I was told that they have run out of ocean view standard room. This is despite having a clear proof of booking including advance payment of the first night and despite being a Hilton Honors member. I was offered a reduced rate 'upgrade' to premium room with additional 40 USD per night. I have agreed out of lack of options and as I was already charged for the first night.

On check out day I found out that I was locked out of my room 15 minutes before the 11:00 deadline, while I was heading to pick my packed luggage and clear out on time at 11:00. I went to the front desk to ask for extension so that I can clear the room after picking my luggage. I was at the front desk queue at 10:50 and I was only able to be attended by the front desk agent called SAMARA only at 11:10 as both agents were busy with single customers for 20 minutes. When she attended me Samara was very upset that I didn't checkout on the check out time of 11:00 as they are fully booked. I tried to explain calmly on what has happened. Instead, she has raised her voice and started uttering inappropriate words. When I said I will file a complaint as her treatment is not appropriate, she was even furious and said in a very disturbing loud voice 'I can write you my name. You can complain'. I was shocked by this treatment. Once I checked out I tried to reach the general manager or the duty manager to file a complaint on several occasions and my calls consistently been directed to answering machine. I suspect it was intentional as I mentioned to the operator that I wanted to file a complaint. I will never stay again and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Awesome views, great beach, breakfast buffets with a view!!

Amazing location. Good food but not always a great service. Resort looks a bit tired, some staff need to be replaced/repaired.

Over priced for what you get

Breakfast is fantastic

A somewhat outdated hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are generously proportioned. Pole complex is large with direct access to the sea.
There are 3 restaurants. Breakfast is rich.

A great place to hang out. Thank you for your hospitality, Julian!

Great location - that’s where it’s starts and ends. Awful attitude from staff and the hotel is very tired.
Do your homework and look elsewhere.
You can get much better accommodation for a lot less money, and probably more pleasant staff too.

Friendly environment, lovely staff and safe for the whole family. Quite central to get around 7 minutes on the bus from Savy on the bay beach and Hastings beach. Lots of restaurants nearby and if you fancy night life it's 10 minutes on bus also or a 30 minute walk.

Staff was a bit unfriendly, sort of stand-offish and not very welcoming at check-in. Cafe staff were also sour and not warm whatsoever. However, the location can’t be beat and the amenities were stunning. Gorgeous views of the ocean either way your room faces!

Will never book here with my own funds but thankfully our company places us here on their dime!

The location and grounds are beautiful . That being said …
I have NEVER been to a resort $$$$ or otherwise where the workers were so rude . We were treated badly from every employee we encountered . From the restaurants workers to housekeeping. RUDE RUDE RUDE . The only people who even smiled at us were the front desk people , and that was only at check in.
The rooms were clean but nothing spectacular . We were told the buffet breakfast was included in the massively overpriced room price , to pretty much shut up and sign the 75$ a person check for the bowl of oatmeal I just ate ( I couldn’t even get a cup of tea ) the waitstaff wouldn’t make eye contact incase we were going to ask them anything . Seriously 75$ a person for buffet breakfast.
The pools and grounds were well kept. That is the only positive thing I can say about our stay at Hilton Barbados Bridgetown. There are so many other hotels close by … keep looking and book elsewhere. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone , ever .

The hotel is nice and in a great location. The only issue with this hotel is the service. It takes at least an hour to receive your food after you order it. Some of the staff behind the bar are not friendly. They catered more to the White European guests than the Black guests who stayed on the resort.

Beautiful hotel and great location.

Smokers see a beach and treat it like an ashtray. Smoking should be banned around the pool and beach.

Great location, attentive staff, plentiful parking, good Continental breakfast.

Pebbles Beach has the best sand. A choice of beach locations, picnic tables, shaded areas for all and sea bathing for the amateur to the pros... .

Ignore the 5 star reviews, this place is a 2 star resort at best. My 5th time here and it keeps getting worse. They simply don’t have housekeeping staff and rely on airlines to keep business going. A hotel that doesn’t clean rooms daily! You only get your room after a hoard of airline staff leave. This hotel is allowing late checkouts at the expense of arriving guests. Like everyone, arrived at 3pm, no room at 4pm waited till 5pm and no hope in sight for a suite that cost $1400. Here with small children for one night and nothing more than a meaningless apology. The staff are genuinely indifferent to the number of people in the lobby waiting for a room after check in time and this this is clearly their regular business practice. Hilton Barbados will ruin your vacation, hard to do in a tropical climate but they have done it. If the person replying to the reviews would roll up their sleeves and clean a room, this might not be such a regular issue. But they will just tell me to go to their website and send them a message so they seem concerned.

Good location and nice beach front. They were low on towels during our week stay but made-up with good housekeeping service.

Overall, the hotel did not meet expectations for the price. The hotel has a great location, but is not well maintained and not inspiring. I was only there one night, but would be disappointed if I booked for a week. It also took over an hour to check in, that is totally unacceptable.

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton several times for work. The staff are considerate and friendly, though not overly so. The views are the very best part of this resort, spectacular in every direction.
I enjoyed the ease of long walks along the quiet beach in the mornings, although the gym is more than adequate. The sound of the surf 🏄‍♂️, the level sand and the historic ruins in both directions is a positive start to the day.
The amenities are top notch and staff are ready to meet any reasonable request.
The location is walking distance to other dining at other resorts and on beaches nearby. However, it's easy enough to get a taxi (a bit costly) or a bus (after a few minutes walk).
The wifi is generally fast enough and the spa has the usual costly offerings.
The area, Needham's point, is a treat for anyone who enjoys luxury, history and/or nature.
