Booked our holiday stay 5 months in advance, just to get a downgraded room with no balcony upon arrival and had to pay additional $141USD to get the room we originally booked.

Came here last year, had a good time but this time, I felt we got scammed and ripped off as it wasn't a good feeling.

After being forced to pay the additional $141USD, the reception staff then charged us an additional $680CAD which we were never notified about, we only noticed after checking our bank statement! When we asked the reception staff, they said they placed a hold, but the issue is we were never notified of this "hold", and it did not say that it was a hold on our bank statement, it was processed as a charge! And when they released the hold, it came back as a refund, meaning that they did charge us, they did not place a "hold". To add to this, they never mentioned what this "hold" was even placed for - as soon as we confronted them they "released" it...

I would never recommend this hotel to any friends or family again as me and my girlfriend will never come back to this hotel.

Great location great rooms and great staff thank you

I stayed here for a week for my brother's wedding. They do charge a resort fee which includes daily yoga, 3 credits for beach chairs, umbrellas or 1-Hour surfboard rental. On site amenities included a gym, laundry room, pool, WiFi and business center. This hotel was very busy yet conveniently located. The lobby always had people hanging out, shopping the marketplace or waiting for valet to bring their cars. Parking is valet only. The rooms were kept clean and towels changed daily. The pool on the roof had lounge chairs, outdoor showers and clean towel dispensers. The staff was nice but always occupied with guests. They conveniently stored our luggage on the day we checked out.

Perfect hotel location! However, the rooms could be bigger. When we booked this hotel, it stated complimentary breakfast, but this was not the case. There's a restaurant in the lobby which is a little pricey for breakfast. However, there's a few restaurant options nearby to choose from.

We came from a bad Airbnb experience and booked this at the last minute with a travel site. We did have a slight problem with check-in, but the desk worked to accommodate us by storing the luggage and providing us with pool access. My wife constantly mentioned how she loved the hotel since it was always so clean. Whenever we went to the pool area, we never had a problem finding a chair or towels. The location is great since it is only a short walk to the beach and on the main bus line. We do have a previous attachment to this hotel as it previously was the outrigger west. We spent our honeymoon here and our 25th but couldn't find it this time but recognized it when we pulled up in front. We will be back.

Second time staying here. The hotel is well located and rooms are satisfactory. The Hotel charges a Resort Fee which does not offer any value at all - it just allows the hotel to post a lower price on the search engines. This would normally have earned a 3★ rating but the hotel now allows you to use the food vouchers in the "market" in the hotel (as well as the restaurant) which is a real plus. Hopefully this policy will continue so on this basis they deserve a 4★ rating.

This place is right down the road from multiple delicious places to eat (shrimp, tacos, noodles, sandwiches) and across the street from International Market mall. It's also about 2 blocks from the beach. Highly recommend this hotel!

If you like corporate greed then this is the place for you!

2nd time staying at this hotel in addition to staying at other Hilton Hotels in Waikiki. Overall value I would recommend this Hilton Hotel, especially as a Diamond Member, over the other brands. You can use your Food and Beverage credit inside the local market attached to the hotel. 2 years ago in 2022 you could not so this was a nice change.

Location - This is centrally located to alot of the shops and beaches you can walk to. Especially if you're traveling with a large group and different budget spending amounts. Other hotels might be adjacent to the beach but was still either far away or inconvenient to get out of.

Valet service did great even with a large SUV like the Chevy Tahoe. Once you're checked in you can always request your vehicle from the Valet button in the room. Most of the time we only used our car once a day to explore North Shore and the Eastern parts of the island. Leaving the hotel to go explore was very easy to get out of the city and onto the freeway compared to other Hilton hotels IMO.

Free Sunscreen and Aloe are located at the hotel pool for guests. No other Property has offered this in my experience and that was a nice bonus. Reef friendly too.

Hotel Rooms - We had booked 2 rooms: 1 King Room and 2 Double Beds. The 2 double bed room is small but 90% of your time you should be out of the hotel room. Other hotels might offer bigger rooms but you'll be paying for that in the room rate and the resort fee. King room for 1 couple was the perfect size.

Even though I stayed there just one night, it was a great experience. The hotel is centrally located and is surrounded with restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, the International Market and beach. Service was great. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Honestly, disappointing. I've been really hesitant to leave this review because I work in the industry and understand that it's a tough job but every time I think about how unspecial I felt spending my wedding with this hotel, it makes me sad. They refused to offer any sort of block for my friends and family, who all ended up staying there at full price. I was also a Hilton employee at the time, which they didn't care about at all (no discount, full price). In my reservation, I mentioned that our family was staying and that it was our wedding. Nothing. No card, no champagne, no breakfast vouchers for the bride/groom, or room upgrade. The lack of hospitality was pretty frustrating and again, just makes me sad and it was the worst part of my trip. I guess I just had assumed that they sharing such a special time with them would have meant something and the attitude from sales was "it's not my problem". Line-level employees were courteous and professional. Rooms were standard.

I'm not looking for a discount. You can't "make it right" but you should know.

Careful, the price isn't the price.... The hotel resort fee amenities include... Wifi, and a tea kettle or coffee in your room (all free at every motel 6)...

King of hidden fees.

There was an emergency broadcast, but there was no explanation or apology like in Japan, so is the information genuine? I was surprised. Don't inspect fire equipment in the morning~💧
The room was large and the bed was large and comfortable.

Great spot right across from international market place! And has a convenient store and restaurant connected d

Location was amazing, block off the beach, close to everything, for price highly recommend. Staff was just amazing

Moderately priced hotel..."good enough" but not luxury by any means.

Rooms - Clean. standard fare, a tad smaller than your typical Hampton Inn. Fridge and microwave. Sink out side the bathroom. The shower was really nice. No queen beds, it's either double or king. No bad smells. Inner rooms (facing away from street), the view stinks: only other apartments and hotels.

Parking - valet only. now $55/day. Super friendly, they hustle! Most of the time, about 10 minute wait. The first day, was close to 20 minutes due to them misplacing key. Staff is great! Busiest time is 6-8 am, so give yourself more time then.

Location - so convenient being close to International market. There is a fairly big grocery store, Waikiki Market, one building over to the east (second floor, up the steps).

Value - Meh...All hotels are expensive in Hawaii, so just be prepared for the sticker shock.

Everything during this stay was awful.
The customer service was TERRIBLE. DO NOT RENT from Voyage rental in their lobby. They told us parking was free for our rental then charged us $144 for VALET. They did construction starting at 5 AM every single morning we were there. The customer service transferred me 5 different times when I tried calling about my issues and my problem never got resolved. I will never stay at Hilton EVER AGAIN.
