"We loved it there, great for our kids since it had the wonderful kids club where our 4 year old could stay for the day and enjoy crafts and other activities (even our 14 month old could have stayed but my wife couldn't handle that! ha) The food was perfect. A little bit of everything from the Caribbean, ox-tail, curried goat/lamb, Jerk everything, even a kids menu was available. We found the hotel staff really made you feel good and wanted! They especially paid attention to our little ones when they were not so happy, they made the effort to put a smile on their faces. "We usually stay at 5 star resorts and we were pleasantly surprised at our wonderful stay at this resort. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Guest Services were helpful and there was no problem booking the restaurants. The Air Transat Rep was informative and readily available. We stayed in building #4, it was a great location, with a partial ocean view. The rooms are a bit out-dated but are kept very clean. The best restaurant is the Italian one, (Sorrentos), if the guys don't have long pants they are not allowed in. The buffet is casual and you could always find something tasty. The breakfast is excellent and the best omlettes. The kitchen staff work very hard to keep the trays refilled. The jerk chicken was delicious! It is at the jerk hut and bar. The burger bar is good as well and also make a great grilled cheese sandwich.
The beach is beautiful but difficult to find shade. There is an adult beach and a non-smoking beach. It is worth bringing your snorkeling gear and the best snorkeling is behind the man-made Island. Bring a mug to keep your drinks cold as beverages are served in small plastic glasses. The entertainment was good and we had no need to leave the resort. We didn't experience any problems, love the Jamaican people and look forward to returning. Ya man, Iree! Just a word of caution, don't participate in activities on the stage if it is wet. A guest slipped while participating and ended up in the hospital. Also, wouldn't advise going alone across the street to the market for shopping." [...]

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to the airport for convenience. Food choice was excellent, entertainment excellent. Only negative was the check in at the hotel. It took over 1 hour to get checked in and into our rooms. Much too long after a long day of flying." [...]

"This hotel definitely is not a 4* The rooms are extremely small and the bathrooms are no more then a closet. The staff will not go out of their way to help you at anything. Their answer is always to "come back tomorrow". The food is very unappetizing... it not only looks terrible, it is terrible! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone." [...]
