If you like to stay in a hotel with a large pool, loud '70s style Cabaret evenings, cavernous echoing, souless buffet dining hall yet amazing Caribean beach at the bottom of the garden, stay here. If you want Cuban culture, local food, colonial french architecture and music stay in the nearby town of Cuinfagos (?) instead. This hotel is too far out of town to walk into the town for the evening. The reception desk was always too busy to sell me a wifi pass.

Hotel with a good bathroom with a towel, toilet, mattress and air conditioning, the blonde receptionist with glasses made our eyes happy and recommended what to see throughout the afternoon in Cienfuegos. The bad thing about the hotel is that it is far from the city center, otherwise everything is 10
If you like to be away from the crowds, this small establishment is good. 29 rooms in all, outdoor salt water pool, inside and outside dining. Good housekeeping, friendly staffs. No buffet, cook to order, food tasted better, in fact. Little facilities on site, but guests can walk to the Rancho Faro Luna for shared facilities.

If, as a visitor to Cienfuegos, you want to stay by the sea and don't expect all-inclusive accommodation like the Hotel Rancho Luna, this is the only option.
Based on the relatively cheap price, you will not be disappointed in terms of the facility, the rooms and the service.
Playa Rancho Luna beach is around 300 m from the hotel.
Great hotel, good food, nice view. Very close to the beach. Rooms were OK, bed not very comfortable. Water leak problem at the time.
No TV No beach No swimming pool that works. Many people have keys to your door. Prostitution is allowed and in courage. I have been to Cuba over 14 times the first time I have had reason to protest.
The restaurant food was reasonable - both in price and quality (although the usual tinned vegetables were served) but a very limited choice. The waiter doubled the price of drinks on our bill, "accidentally ", but corrected this.
The fridge didn't work and had bare wires poked into the power socket. The safety deposit box didn't work, either. Only soap and 2 thin towels in the bathroom (no shower gel or shampoo etc) and no complimentary bottled water to clean teeth. However, they did have hot water.
It is a long way from the town and unless you want a very quiet location, I'd advise you to find somewhere closer.
