All the hotel staff we encountered during our recent stay were awesomely nice and attentive to our needs, and provided great services. Special shout out to Nash on the valet team! The room interiors were a bit dated (as expected) and not highly soundproof tho. We were bothered one evening by the loud noises from a neighboring guest room. After calling the front desk, the security team handled the situation professionally immediately so we regained peace quickly. Another proof of the 5-star services this staff team provides! We look forward to coming back to this hotel again soon.

My family and I have stayed here twice and both times were excellent! The rooms were clean and had excellent views of Waikiki. The rooms also came with complementary water bottles and a tote bag. This was so convenient since they had water refill stations. Not only that but the hotel also offers beach chair rentals and towels. Easy for using during your trip. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet! They had a good spread, omelet station, fresh fruit, and other unique items like fried kimchi rice, salmon and eggs Benedict. This hotel is also 1 block away from Waikiki beach, super easy and convenient walk. You are also surrounded by stores of all types.

I also want to give a shoutout to Grace at the check in desk. She was so kind and friendly, and provided excellent customer service! Thank you Grace!

I am writing a review not only for all the staff that has made our experience at Hyatt Regency Waikiki so wonderful but, I am wanting to highlight Grace at the front desk who has been so exceptional at her customer service. Grace makes us feel so special as we have had repeat stays this past month since I am a traveling RN.

Grace takes personalized care beyond the service standard to ensure that we truly have a wonderful time while my mom and I are staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. She has knowledge, friendly attitude and I love that she always remembers us as I know she meets hundreds of people weekly.

If you are a tourist and want to trust that you will have a good stay while you are in Waikiki visiting, stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. I can guarantee that you will be happy. I have stayed at several hotels in Waikiki. Hyatt Regency Waikiki marks every want I could ask for. They have comfortable beds, bathrooms are updated and so comfortable to get ready in as well as there is so much space in the rooms compared to other hotels in the same price range.

The one star review is for horrible customer service nightmare we received at Hyatt Regency Waikiki since I can’t give negative stars. The breakfast opens 6am-11am. When my family arrived at 9am by stairs with no luck for 30 minutes with extremely busy elevator, one guy Bryan stopped us saying we can’t get in due to they have to clean up at 9am. I asked why no advanced notification and why everyone else is still taking food. He couldn’t give clear explanation other than rushing us out. Then I asked what option we have since we have $200 credit to use today. He said I don’t know you can use in the pool. He said you can take some takeout boxes. But EVERYONE ELSE ARE STILL GETTING FOOD AND EATING. We accepted unhappily and sat down to eat the takeout boxes. Guess what? He came and KICKED US OUT! Right in front of my parents over 70 and my kids and other guest are still there eating! I asked his name but he didn’t give to me other than just shook his shirt “right here you can see!” “I don’t know what you talking about!” Wow that’s beyond RUDE in my whole life no matter in what price range of hotels. We chose Hyatt Waikiki based on the reputation of excellent customer service. And that’s the first and probably last impression we will ever get for this Hyatt! Understand things happen but All I’m asking is to handle things professionally, respectfully and reasonably. But they handled it so poorly without advanced notification of early closure, no clear explanation why some people can eat and some can’t, no good countermeasure plan, only rude attitude and discrimination by treating people differently. Putting this guy in the position with customers already did and will do more damages to the Hyatt brand name. Permanent corrective action should be in place. I hope my review will alert the Hyatt management and customers to avoid same experience as me and my family.
Manager Daniel talked to me through phone call and offered compensation. I told him I appreciate but I will complain no matte what.

Good location. It doesn't feel luxurious. Good for traveling as there are many amenities. A friendly but nice hotel. I'm a little scared of elevators. Something feels lacking. There are a lot of Korean customers.

Wife and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. The staff left us a nice note and some chocolate for our stay. We had a top ocean view floor, the view was amazing. The staff were all very courteous, especially the valet attendants who were all very responsive and friendly. The room was large and cozy with plenty of amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Terrible hotel. Charged us extra fees without letting us know.

All staff are very friendly. Location is close to everything.

It's a beautiful place , but I had clothes stolen from my room when the house cleaners came. I informed staff and they didn't seem to care . Never got my clothes back brand new with tags .

My family and I had a wonderful spring break at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki and plan to return next time on Oahu!

The location is awesome and as a Hyatt Globalist, we got upgraded to an ocean view room which was stunning. The hotel is in great shape and we also liked the onsite shops and amenities. Truly we felt this hotel had it all. Service was also excellent.

Beach access was so simple and my family spent a lot of time on Waikiki. We’re excited to come back again!

The location is very good. Many buses leave from near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, so you can go anywhere. There is a beach right in front of the house, and the kids will love it. You can walk to nearby shopping and dining. I was given access to the Regency Club Lounge, so I used it every day. I'm glad that drinks, alcohol, and snacks are all available. The snacks are delicious and filling. This is a recommended hotel if you are going to Hawaii.

It's a disappointing place that makes you think you've never found a Regency club this poor anywhere in the world. There is no indoor pool and there is nothing to eat for breakfast/dinner, so we only eat seaweed soup, fried rice, and miso soup.

Other than that, the room, interior space, view, price, and location are truly perfect.
However, the Regency Club itself is so poor that I have no intention of visiting again.

Excellent rooms, staff and location. Great few day's away

Great location right across from the beach, must stay if you enjoy walking around downtown!

Great location right in front of the beach. It's great to wander around the city, go to the beach, or enjoy the pool.

This was our second stay there in the last year. Being one of only three Hyatt properties in Waikiki, the Regency definitely stands out as the best. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially if you're lucky enough to snag an ocean-side room where you can hear the waves and catch stunning sunsets.

As Globalists, we love the perks—no resort fees and access to the Regency Club with its breakfast and evening snacks (which can basically be dinner). While suite upgrades aren't offered, the upgrade to an Ocean view is totally worth it.

Now, the rooms may not be the trendiest, but they're always spotless. And let me give a shoutout to the housekeeping staff for being so accommodating.

Location-wise, it's hard to beat. With shopping and activities galore, there's never a dull moment. Overall, our experience at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort And Spa was worth coming back for another.

Furniture was old and carpet was dirty. Staff at the entrance did not offer to take our luggage.

Perfectly lovely hotel in a great spot with nice amenities. Nothing super stand out. But a quality stay at the price point.

Despite being on a very high floor, it was quite noisy. Rest great.

It's a beautiful hotel
But the front desk people don't know what they are doing apparently it's a long story just trust me
