4.7 - 7900 Reviews
Riviera Maya, Mexico

A stunning hotel, in beautiful natural surroundings, on the white sands of Playacar Beach. Tropical gardens with birds and wildlife and winding pools complete the picture. The hotel has two distinct halves: the Quetzal, which features colonial-style paintings and furniture, and the Tucan, which has reproductions of carvings from Mayan ruins. The Iberostar offers excellent value and provides travelers with that comfortable home-away-from-home feel. Featuring a Kids Club, refreshing pools, specialty dining, nearby golf, a luxury spa, honeymoon bonuses, and a picturesque beachfront location, this Riviera Maya hotel is ideal for families, couples, and groups.

Location: On the beach, 5 minutes to Playa del Carmen, 60 minutes to Cancun, 45 minutes from the airport.

Our Opnion

The Iberostar Tucan, is a perfect family-oriented resort geared for families with children. The grounds have a very outdoorsy feel. There is exotic wildlife teeming everywhere, which adds a nice touch to the resort. A lot of the entertainment held is geared more for kids. Great buffet items available. Make sure to check out the Japanese and Steakhouse a la carte restaurants, as they offer quality food and great entertainment. Great pool with plenty of activities to do.

Great attention and service, an excellent place to enjoy with family and friends. We had a very fun weekend!!!

I visited the hotel with friends and we had a truly incredible time, we really liked the food and the drinks too, the friendliness of the staff was always very good, I definitely recommend it to everyone and I hope to return soon.

A great experience, the truth is that you don't want to leave, even if we are locals, thank you all for the experience and the attention, this will surely be repeated. I stayed in Quetzal and everything was impeccable, thank you, thank you.

Isai helped me a lot with information and also got me access to the Italian restaurant, thank you very much. Excellent collaborator and person🩷his treatment is the best!!!!

Fantastic place to spend your holidays 🥳🥳🥳
Fantastic people around. Fantastic entertaining.

One of the best all inclusive resorts, located on a township well protected, on the beach side sharing a bunch of other resorts., Very well maintained huge pool that's friendly for kids / adults and can take in as much crowd but still very open to swim., Great food options (ateast 5 to 7 restaurants) and a good variety of options for veggies., staffs are so kind and very helpful.

The rooms are pretty good but old structures, but the wouldnt be a big concern., have great ambience overall, a forest type theme and lot of peacocks to grace.

Will give a 4.5 star out of 5 and definitely feel like visiting this chain again.

Very good place. Abraham was very kind with his attention!

Very good hotel, recommended and Abraham is a genius😁

the entertainment is so good. especially my friend abraham is a legend.

The experience was great, what we suggest is that the themed restaurants have an exclusive restaurant menu, because the buffet has the same dishes as the themed ones, it wouldn't make sense, the rest was all spectacular, the entertainment was very good, and the guys were great

Excellent attention from the animators, especially from Ivonne and Luis (Po cho)
The excellent co
Ida and the bar.

A spectacular place, it has all the amenities, it is very quiet, safe and with an excellent view and location. Without a doubt, I will return soon. Thanks to young Jan for the attention and good welcome at Tucan!

The animals and jungle on this property were awesome! We suggest taking an early morning walk to take it all in. Food was delicious and most al a carte don’t require a reservation. Vicent was an excellent server in Tulum buffet. Great shows and programs for kids through Star Camp. The Star Friends did a great job of making everyone feel included, especially by the pool. Very few outlets in the room. For shopping we suggest going out of the resort and taking the 10 minute walk to Playacar Plaza.

Great service and nice food - a lovely break from the buffet!

Everything was very nice and complete, the beach was perfect… Cony was very attentive and friendly, she helped us with our concerns and more. All perfect

I spent a week at Iberostar Cozumel and Playa del Carmen/Tucan. They are both wonderful and beautiful resorts. I plan to return next year with my wife and daughter. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Cony who told me quite a bit about being a member of Iberostar which I am very interested in. Cony took her time answering my thousands of questions, she was very professional and I know she probably has a dry tongue by now but she was very kind and patient nonetheless. Thank you very much for having staff who work here who are professional, kind and cordial! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just wanted to express my gratitude for the amazing Bootcamp classes led by Erika. She's fantastic!

Also, Jorge's LAB class was excellent!
Both are incredibly professional and friendly. Thank you for the enriching experience!
