Just finished a week. Had a pretty great experience. The reviews are true and Janice the bartender is legendary, she will take care of you. Merrick at the omelette station always started my day. Food overall was 4/5 ,they would run out of items and temperature control at the buffet is not good. The resort cats made a great trip a little better.

Had a great time at Jewel Paradise Cove with 3 friends.

Particular highlights were playing cricket with the entertainments team: Dimario, Rasheda, Milton, Britney, Jayhvol, Shandee, and Jevanie (Apologies for bad spelling), and getting cocktails from Janis' swim up bar.

For all the negative reviews, the customers either had unrealistic expectations or they are just high maintenance!
For my wife and I, we had an excellent experience. Location was beautiful. Accommodations and amenities were a great value. The beach activities and entertainment was excellent. The food options and quality were great.
Most of all, the entire staff were friendly, happy, and helpful! Notably, our butler Twayne…went out of his way to make our trip the best possible. Also, the smiling face of the omelette chef, Donique, was the best start of each day.

I enjoyed my visit to this small property the service and location were great. The food is average and so are the rooms but the service and beauty are unparalleled. It’s definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend it!

Experience was awesome.

Jewel Paradise Cove claims to be an all-inclusive resort. However, the overall quality they provide is not consistent with being a high-class hotel. There were some great experiences with the excursion staff, omelet chefs, and spa specialists who were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the Coral Cafe buffet was my favorite restaurant. The excursions my group and I bought to see Dunn's Falls, Catamaran, and Snorkeling were enjoyable and included transportation and a meal at Margaritaville.

Despite the positive experiences I did have, the rating I gave the resort is based on the overwhelmingly negative experiences I had while there. I visited this resort last week with 3 other friends, and we stayed in two different rooms. We booked as a group, but we were placed in two different buildings. Each of our rooms were on the 3rd floor and there were no elevators, so it was very painful to go up and down the stairs during our trip since two people in our group had physical ailments. We were also told that tipping was completely voluntary, however, we were pressured for tips by the bellhop even though there was no check-out assistance when we left. In both rooms, there were old blood stains on the sheets from previous use on two different days. When I reported this via phone and in person to the front desk and housekeeping, they were not concerned or surprised. I was told that my sheets would be changed by the end of the day. No one apologized for the unclean, gross sheets and they were not changed until that evening. We were not told that the rooms exterior doors were outside and not enclosed in a hallway or building or that the rooms have internal adjoining doors. We were concerned about this for security reasons, especially since we had to slam the doors so they would close and latch properly. Additionally, concierge/room service and mini refrigerator restocking (complimentary sodas and bottled water) had to be called multiple times to receive any service. We were also promised robes and slippers during our stay but they were nowhere to be found- keep that in mind when packing if you decide to visit this hotel. When ordering at the bars and restaurants, be prepared with your own large water bottle to get refills and stay hydrated in the 80+ degree heat and extreme humidity. Although bottled water is complimentary, any requests are met with reluctance or frustration. Also, If you plan to order a frozen alcoholic beverage, do so before 3 pm (the bars open at 10 am) because they run out of ingredients fairly quickly.

Jamaica is a beautiful country and the people I encountered who visited the resort, participated in our excursions, and lived there were very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. I will be back to visit Jamaica but I will not stay at Paradise Jewel Resort and Spa.

Okay, I need to tell you about the omelette bar and this fantastic artist named Merric Adams. This dude can make an omelette. He has flair and style, throwing the contents of the pans ten feet in the air simultaneously with both hands. He made breakfast an experience. Not only was it a show, but this was hands down the single greatest omelette I have ever eaten. I don’t know if the resort management reads these, but this guy is a treasure and deserves some sort of bonus. Do not let him get away.

We spent a four day mini-holiday at Paradise Cove to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. We had a great time! The service was top-notch and the concierge helped us book two excursions off-property. We enjoyed the pools and beaches. The food was above-average overall but the shining stars were the jerk shack and platinum. Be sure to check out the nightly concerts and spend an hour singing at the piano bar. My only minor criticism is that the room was a bit smaller and could use some freshening up. Yet, I wasn't there to spend a lot of time in the room. It was kept clean. The shower always had hot water. The bed was comfy - especially after a day in the sun! A great place!

Pleasant experience, food options were a small, clean property, very relaxed.

Fantastic place! Great food and drink. Quiet rooms with great views. Staff is amazing! Not crowded. Would definitely return in the future!

It's such an amazing place!! The service was out of this world. Good was good and all around a great time!! Shout out to Ariel and March for the amazing booze cruise!!! The only thing I would have changed is not going on the Catamaran. There were 150 people on board, and it was just too much! I will 100% be back to this place!

This resort is very basic and dated. The furniture is old, there is rust on the mirrors, no elevator a drainage issue in the bathroom we were in, and the twin bed was not comfortable when sleeping. The service and hospitality was bare minimum. The drinks were watered down, carbonated drinks were flat. The utensils were dirty and had stains, the food was just ok. There was no real entertainment. It was really boring. The only saving grace of this resort was the water pressure in the shower. I chose this hotel as I wanted a quick getaway at an affordable price. Thank goodness it wasn’t a long stay. I would not book this place again.

It's a nice quiet adults only all-inclusive resort. It is a Jewel in Paradise. It is not a large resort with only 255 rooms, this means the staff can take that much extra care with us. We got very familiar with the layout very quickly and everything was in easy walking distance. Always a place to eat, drink or sit by the water (both ocean and pools).
Getting butler service just makes the experience top notch. While we had 3 butlers, I want to give a special shoutout to Krista, who was always in a cheery mood ensured that we were never lacking for anything.
Daytime and evening entertainment added that resort touch. The entertainment team made sure that there was always games and activities going on, from trivia games during breakfast, to tournaments, contests and I even tried to play some beach cricket. Shoutout to Dimario for his endless energy.
The ocean was nice and being a sheltered cove meant that the water was always relatively calm. Taking a nice sail with Jonroy or scuba diving arranged by Brittany from the watersports team. The cove means the waves are never that big, but the ocean also was nice and warm.
Drinks... of course, we were in Jamaica there was drinks. While all the bartenders ensured that our cups were never empty and the variety of what they could make meant that you could always be trying something different. Andre at the main bar saw me coming and always made sure that there was something for me.
We always felt safe, never a time without seeing multiple security guards. We even went for a walk off-resort for a couple of hours, and didn't have any concerns.

Myself and husband booked a 14 day trip December 2023. We have frequented Jamaica in past years with no issues until our recent stay at Jewel Paradise Cove. Our trip started off with cat urine in room and us having to sit on towels until they could change us rooms (3 days later). We paid for and upgrade $480USD all to get a main light in room not working, and a door that did not lock correctly. The issue on video I have shows the lock sticks and them attempting to fix with lotion from our bathroom to be unsuccessful. We made the best of our trip as we were still thankful to be in Jamaica. What was not ok and extremely scary was us getting into our bed at 9pm ( our room was serviced at 11am and bed was changed , confirmed by management). My husband noticed two small blood droplets in our bed and when he pulled back the blanket tthe top sheet was full of blood. With no idea whose blood it was or how it got there we were beside ourselves. The manager treated this as if it was peanut butter on the sheets and thinks returning our upgrade fee is sufficient. What transpired throughout our trip was horrifying. The response and treatment of the hotel and manager was even more disgusting and high stress for us. I do not recommend this resort.

Food was good, service I've definitely have had better, air conditioner in room always stopped working every night, so when you come back to go to bed room is hot and hard to sleep for the night. Rooms are out dated and beds are very hard an uncomfortable. Beach is no good very small and always has lots of seaweed, and your trapped on this beach as you can walk down the beach like in negril. The water is always rough on this side of the island. I won't be staying here again will go back to negril to couples negril twice the resort in my opinion.

We picked this place because of the good reviews. Reviews were not accurate. We are in our 3rd day of a 7 day stay and if I could relocate I would. In general a lot of the staff not all is fairly dismissive. We were supposed to have a fully stocked mini bar, there were 2 waters, 2 juices, 2 sodas and 2 beers on arrival. Day two never got restocked nor did our room get cleaned. I called at 5:30 pm someone came and changed sheets. They left a few more sodas, juices and water no beer. Never cleaned room entirely or got fresh coffee cups. The resort itself is fairly small. Food is mediocre at best. Resort is dated and needs updating. Our balcony rail pillars were rusted through in two spots. Needs fresh paint and other repairs throughout. This was not a cheap location but it was less than others. We have 5 more days will see if anything improves……to be continued but I personally would not book this place again.

Nice little resort. Food very average. Service very slow except for Japanese restaurant.
Resort too far from airport. Not worth the value. Just a 3 star resort.

Service was great, food was pretty good.
