Experience the best of both worlds at Krystal Cancun, a stylish seaside haven located in Cancun’s lively entertainment district. Soak up the sun in a pristine panoramic infinity pool or stroll along a sprawling white-sand beach lined with sparkling turquoise waters. Dine at an array of delicious a la carte restaurants such as Hacienda El Mortero, where you can taste authentic Mexican dishes while listening to a live Mariachi band. Guests can enjoy two splendid sea views; on one side the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and on the other the tranquil waters of the Nichupte Bay.
Location: Beachfront, across from the Convention Centre, 20 min to downtown, 30 min from the airport.
The Krystal Cancun is a great hotel located in the heart of the resort strip. This resort is absolutely massive. Despite its size, it still has a great layout. The people in this resort put great detail into how it's laid out. While the main public areas of the resort are amazing, the rooms do require a bit more attention, as there have been reported issues with regards to some of the fixtures. This resort offers different forms of entertainment every night, so you'll never have a dull evening. Great food options to choose from and the staff are amazing here. They make sure that you are getting the most out of your stay.
The location of the resort is great. However, for those wanting peace and quiet during their stay might want to look elsewhere. This place is located in the heart of the party strip in Cancun. The resort itself isn't necessarily bustling as much as most, but the activity and noise from outside does have a tendency to carry through late hours. However, for those wanting to be in the center of the action, this is the place to stay.

Great location. Food very average, with even more average food choices. Rest all good. Picture is Krystal
Widely recommended
Excellent service and experience!
Excellent service and attention at all times, delicious food, we had an incredible vacation.
We would return without a doubt
Elsi is the best server ever!! She was on top of making sure we had our drinks always filled. Great customer service. Very friendly. I would definitely come back to the beach area if it meant having her service us. Keep up the good work!
Excellent hotel, highly recommended and family-friendly, the beach is suitable for the whole family and not to mention its pools.
10/10
Italian food was amazing! Cruz offered great service for us
Good place
The lobby is nice. Rooms are extremely dated (Tower B), there’s always a weird smell and there was mildew in the bathroom. Bed was decently comfortable. We paid for an upgrade and it was not an upgrade. Party central… right off the strip. Music was so loud up till 6AM (no joke). But I was drunk when I fell asleep so not an huge issue- it was a little annoying to wake up to. Employees work hard and are very friendly! Pools are cold, kind of dirty but not the worst I’ve seen although they can use some TLC. One of them is an infinity pool overlooking the sea which was a nice touch. The food here is actually pretty good, no complaints there. However, I’ve stayed at the RIU and Grand Fiesta across the street and I do prefer those over this one unless you’re here to strictly party.
I was in this resort for a Week , Service Was great , Friendly people , Beautiful Views , good food , miss the resort already , can’t wait to come back .
Umm not sure how I feel about this hotel. Wouldn’t come again that’s for sure.
Be aware it’s a public beach, meaning you are spending thousands of dollars to sit on a beach that is free to everyone. Staff is friendly and nice room is ok food is ok, mehh !
I d rather spend a bit more and stay somewhere else on the strip. Have had better stays in Cancun that’s for sure. No nightlife at hotel but it’s a 2 min away from downtown Cancun nightlife that’s a plus .. if you can see my video I’m showing the amount of people staying at the beach NOT part of
The hotel because it is a PUBLIC beach. Limited umbrellas and chaise longs for the guests the rest are public people.
Might as well stay somewhere else and walk in here for free to enjoy the same beach.
Wouldn’t book here again.
My 2nd video shows where I’m sitting and how everyone else in the video is public.
It's good
Good service and Justo good service also
Very good treatment from Aracely and Elsi, very attentive!!! Everything delicious in fisheria, delicious drinks!! At Aqua Marina the buffet lacks seasoning!!! In Candles, the food was very delicious but the service was lacking. We spoke to the waiters and they didn't listen to us!!! The beach not to mention beautiful view!!
My family of 4 stayed here last week for 4 days (Wed-Sun)! We DIDN’t do the all inclusive. We also had my in laws with us who stayed in a separate room! They DID do the all inclusive. Here’s our pros and cons!
Pro’s:
You are in the heart of the hotel zone! Lots of restaurants, nightlife and you are on the best part of the beach in Cancun! The bay blocks a lot of the rough waves and the water is clear, warm and heavenly! Very budget friendly. The restaurant staff was incredibly sweet! Super attentive to your needs. Food was okay.
Con’s:
Cocobongo next door had an event on Wednesday night that went on until 12am. The music was loud even with our hotel balcony closed! Fireworks went off at 1:20am that woke the family up!
Garbage all over the beach! They don’t rake it. There’s broken glass, boxes, and bottles in the sand which made it hard to walk barefoot with the kids.
Lack of information about restaurants, how to reserve, etc
Coffee maker in the room spilled all over when trying to pour
Shower leaked all over bathroom floor. There are no vents so the steam just builds up and collects on everything. There’s a half door in the shower. There was black mold on the top of our shower walls.
No alcohol before 11am (turn off for those with all inclusive), 2 of the 3 bars closed at 7 making it extremely difficult to get a drink, room serve for a bottle of wine took over an hour for my in laws!
There were lots of beach chairs that people put towels on the morning to reserve but then wouldn’t use them until later that day making it challenging to find ones to use! Many were dirty or broken. I wish there was an attendant that helped manage this.
Getting your bill at restaurants to sign if you were paying took a long time!
Room Doors slam when you have your balcony door open from the pressure! You hear slamming doors all night long from other guests.
Inconsistency in room amenities! Room service would come and sometimes take all your towels then leave you no replacements, forget to restock items like coffee and/or water and refill your toiletries.
It is to highlight the incredible treatment of Ceci, our waitress at the Aquamarina restaurant, inside the hotel. Excellent service!
The food a little cold in the restaurants. The waitress at the Aquamarina restaurant named Ceci was very friendly and helpful. 10 points
The location of Krystal Cancun is perfect. About a 2 minute walk from your room to the beach. Las Villas, a resteraunt at Krystal was our favorite place to eat. We went twice on our trip and had the best service from Jose our first evening, and Justo our second. We tried the standard menu the first night and had an incredible evening. So we splurged the second evening with the premium menu, and we could not believe how great the presentation was. Yulissa, Gilberto, Fernando, and Yuni made our stay at Krystal Cancun special. Thank you so much+
The service at the “Las Velas” restaurant was pleasant and attentive, the people I want to recognize are

Gilberto

Thanks for the service!
