What a gorgeous hotel with amazing service! Highly recommend and I hope to be back. This is an adult all inclusive - drinks are top notch, food is awesome. The staff is superb and very eager to help. Very service oriented.

Great stay! Smaller resort and perfect for couples. The service was stellar. The beach was long and walkable. The room was a little outdated, but clean, comfortable, and quiet. The food was good for an all-inclusive and the drinks were premium grade. Highly recommend!

I don't think this resort is as stellar and exceptional as the rating suggests.

Positives
1. Entertainment: They had things going on nearly every night and BBQ by the center pool, although not every night, was great.

2. Generally friendly staff.

3. Amazing ocean view.

4. Italian restaurant was good.
5. ZERO sales pitch. They don't promote anything, not even excursions.

Negatives

1. Food was overall just not great. I was not impressed with their Asian fusion place at all and Vista Ballenas needs urgent team meetings. 5 outta 6 visits it took forever for someone to get coffee order and the foods were cold at the dinner.

3. Only one tiny bar outdoor and it was not even anything 5 star quality - both taste and the setting.

4. Pool: water looks dirty because the floor is yellowish. I was shocked to see some trashes and leaves on the far corners. And get this - birds sit on the water. I saw a Pelican in the water I just came out of. Are we supposed to be cool with this?

5. Understaffed. The resort wasn't very busy to my surprise. IDK if it's the economy but this is probably why foods took so long.

Overall I am content, but honestly for being a 5 star resort? Hard earned money I spent? Nah. With this experience I am much more hesitant to try Le Blanc or Grand Vela - seemingly exceptional on paper but nothing special to justify the price. I've been to many resorts in Cancun and Cabo to have my expectations set. IMO you can have the same experience at 4, 4.5 star resorts w/ less $$$.

well.. everyone said that hotel need a renovation. I thinks so too. feels like a good hotel.. maybe if we live in 2000. but food was actually good, service..for americans. I like amazing swimming pool in this hotel and that rooms are in front of the ocean!

Extraordinary place

We just returned from Marquis Los Cabos yesterday 4/4/24
Pros:
*The servers were friendly and worked hard to please us.
*The room was nice and kept clean daily.
*Saki restaurant was very good
*Spa is nice
Cons:
We stayed here two years ago and overall had a great experience.
*Food quality was poor.
* Unless you made reservations in advance the only time you could get in to a restaurant to eat was 9 pm or later.
*To make matters worse we in restaurants for dinner that were only 25%-35% full which can only mean there was a staffing issue.
*We were told 3 restaurants would be open for lunch, however only two were open.
*Poolside bar top shelf liquor was rarely available
*Not a vegetable in sight
*Italian restaurant entree seafood risotto had 2 small shrimp and 1 scallop
*Air conditioning was not working properly at 4 different occasions
*Beer warm, fries cold at lunch
*One of the hot tubs was never heated
*At dinner we were told there was only 1 wine option available (ex: Merlot)
*The fitness center was very warm
Needless to say we will not be returning to this resort and caution those who may be considering it.

Our visit was incredible!! We already want to return! Eduardo, Gerardo, Kaira, Manager of the Vista Ballenas restaurant, had outstanding service! 🥰

A fantastic place!

Excellent ocean view, super large and very clean pools. Very large and cozy rooms. Variety of food, drinks and very friendly service staff.

Food is horrible. Not as described on website. We had to leave 2 days early because we were sick from the food and they would not refund our money! It is located right on the highway which is also not mentioned on the website.

I LOVED THE HOTEL, THE ATTENTION 10 OUT OF 10, BOTH FOOD, SPACES AND ABOVE ALL THE PRICES QUITE AFFORDABLE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Super good place to stay

A wonderful place for vacation, rest or even business, with good services.

Overall, Marquis was great for relaxing, exactly what we wanted out of this trip. Service was great, and the resort wasn’t crowded so you could enjoy your time and not feel pressured for snagging chairs at the pool.

The food was OK, but I think most people enjoyed it. I’ll admit, we’re lucky to live in a place with great food that creates high standards.

I almost provided 3 stars, as the blanco tequila was clearly watered down. To the point it was a bit frustrating. We would have multiple margaritas, and even ask for a little extra, and barely feel a buzz. As soon as we went into town and ordered a single drink, it became clear the tequila at the resort was diluted.

Friendly staff, great service, quick food service. Great views of the sunrise, sunset, and whale watching. Very clean rooms and facilities.
