Our Opnion

Pleasant hotel in Cancun. This resort is perfect for families and mature travelers wanting a relaxing and quiet stay in the strip. The rooms here are adequate and always attended by attentive staff. While the quality of the buffet food items is good, the choices have a tendency to get repetitive, especially during breakfast. You'll have to take a gamble at the a la carte restaurants as well. The beach area is one of the better ones found along the strip. There are areas where you can easily wade into the water and there are plenty of loungers available.

Very good place. Good is good and the entertainment is lively. The pool and beach was very pleasant.

The place looks nice from the outside, the rooms or at least 575 has a strong bad smell of horrible mold, they have terrible service, the buffet restaurants have terrible service and terrible food, it made my stomach sick, the a la carte restaurants that according to everything included in During my entire stay, they never accepted a reservation at any of them, at any time they had availability and on no day, no matter how early or late I wanted, there was no availability. I couldn't eat on a single day, we had to go out to dinner in the restaurants, they don't accept reservations at all. Now the towels are white but they are yellow because they are old or worn out.

The room lacked an ice bucket and there was no ice available on any floor. Additionally, the shower was clogged, causing slow drainage. The room decor appeared outdated, with cold, tile floors reminiscent of the 1970s. While the property caters to families, the overall experience was disappointing due to the outdated rooms, mediocre food, and broken safe. Despite being advertised as all-inclusive, the quality of food and beverages fell short, prompting guests to seek alternatives elsewhere. Overall, I cannot recommend this property for those seeking a fun or enjoyable experience, unless their sole focus is spending time with children.

Our stay was excellent, the staff friendly and the buffet restaurants very good. 😉 The best beach. The point to improve would be that the water in the children's pool is warmer, because I notice it a little cool. But all good.

I LIKED IT A LOT GOOD SERVICE COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN

I never write reviews but I felt the need to write this review to tell everyone to STAY AWAY from this place. We got a "good deal" that was $700/person for 3 nights, 4 adults, two rooms, including airfare. This was, in fact, too good to be true.

From the initial check in, which took at least an hour, to the terrible food and decor, this place sucks. The food is horrible. The "margarita" pizza is like a lunchable cheese pizza. The eggs Benedict had fully cooked eggs on dry wheat bread. Hamburgers are dry. "Alfredo sauce" is just noodles in water. You have to stand in line to get into the restaurants, only to get atrocious food.

The staff seems confused and to not know where anything is (restaurants, Covid tests) if you ask. We survived on Doritos (from the gift shop) and pina coladas (the pina coladas were acceptable). The staff also seemed surprised that we didn't speak Spanish.

The glass bar decorations were straight out of the late 1970's/early 1980's and played the worst Mexican rap at full blast. You couldn't request any music until the dj was there, which seemed sporadic.

Sheets were stained, if you call the front desk they will not answer or argue with you when you ask for a blanket. The windows in the rooms open, which would allow anyone to plunge to their death so beware if you have children; don't let them open the windows in the room.

DO NOT come here for a romantic vacation or tour honeymoon. Honestly this would be the perfect place to bring your spouse to if you wanted to tell them you hate them and want a divorce. Or you're trying to get them to divorce you. It's so miserable.

We will never stay here again. RUN!

I really liked everything!! The food, the coffee is delicious, we were able to do kayaking included in the plan. The beach is very quiet and beautiful. I was afraid because it has very bad comments but I loved everything. Delicious food and many options... the only bad thing suddenly was that you can hear a lot of what they are talking in the other room or the noise but the rest everything was super super good ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent attention!!!

It is a hotel that is at one end of the hotel zone, it has public transportation at the door.
It has swimming pools and a private beach, the lounge chairs are always occupied, unless the place is reserved by leaving the towels before 7 am.
The beach and pool are ideal for families with small children, not so suitable for teenagers or adults, there are not as many activities organized during the day for these groups.
The food at the buffets is according to the price you pay, neither good nor bad, just average.
The attention of the staff is adequate, but not outstanding.
In general it meets the essentials, in any case if you have a limited budget, it is an option.
Personally, I wouldn't go back.

Excellent place to rest, the only bad thing is the location on the sea, the sea is kind of ugly.

Excellent, very comfortable, thank you for your attention

Many bad points.
1 rooms: terrible, super old, repainted furniture, old towels, old and dirty hallways as well as the elevators
2 restaurants: poor quality buffet and all the food is ugly and you have to line up and it takes about an hour to get there and where you make a reservation they don't give it to you
3 drinks: very bad, they only give you draft beer that tastes horrible, the other drinks are super discounted, there is no bottled beer
4 service: sometimes good sometimes bad some waiters friendly others rude
5 non-heated pools (none) not even the children's pool
Overall a bad experience and they still invite you to their breakfast so you can rebook. Seriously, if the opinion is of any use to you, don't go to this hotel. For the other I will look for a better option even if it is more expensive. I say that it is a 1 star hotel

Sorry, this is the worst place I have ever stayed. Wait LINE for a drink 20 min. WAIT LINE AT BEACH FOOD HUT. 15 MIN. MIN. MUST make reservations for all restaurants except buffet...... ok wait time on phone to make reservations, so far 22 min. Ummmm I wonder how long this will take. Well at 30 min. No availability! REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE. EVEN THE ELEVATOR KEPT ME LOCKED IN FOR 10 MIN.... And This only our second day.

The only good thing about this Hotel is the location but everything else is horrible, ugly food, disgusting drinks, ugly service, hours of waiting to check in and check out, dirty rooms, if you want to eat in a reservation restaurant you have to go to train in the afternoon and it is not certain that you will be able to.

Currently lodged here! Do not come to this place. They do not listen to you as a customer, hospitality is zero. Worst service ever! Checked in yesterday and the bracelet they gave me was defective . They say return if broken, how do you know when the bracelet falls off your wrist in the open. Worst thing is that no one is able to guarantee that once they secure it on your wrist, it would remain there. I explained and explained, no one seemed to care. If you are going to make people pay such a ridiculous amount for replacement, then let the bracelet be high quality to start with, then it won’t break except if being cut with a scissors. The bracelet eventually broke as I was going to reception to change it. Unfortunately, no one admitted to finding this. They do not listen to understand and are all about the money. They got me so destabilized looking for this band all through the resort. I missed meals due to this loss. I should have thought it would be a fail when I was assigned the wrong room to start with. Like who would just cut a rubber bracelet for no reason? When it was secured by a member of staff at check-in. Horrible! First time here and will be the last!!!

The food has no flavor zzzz

This place is an amazing vacation destination with lots of amenities and things to do that you won’t be bored on your trip and they will make sure you have an amazing stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun Palm, is the best bang for buck these days they’re services is exceptional I recommend you try this place your self

AVOID! READ BEFORE YOU BOOK!
The rooms- lack proper exhaust ventilation in bathroom causing a constant, humid musk like a gym locker room. The floor had not been cleaned in what seemed to be the last 4 or 5 stays; black dirt and stains were not removed for the tile. You need to find and ask cleaning crew to perform turn down service, where you’ll get an eye roll and some silly response as to why they didn’t get to it. Tv remote was not present in room upon entering initially at night. We had called front desk and they said the best they can do is get one sent up the following morning; which didn’t actually show til much later than that. When we finally got the remote, there were stains on the face which resembled EJACULANT, or semen. Yes. How horrific. We had to clean that while we tried to enjoy somewhat of a stay. The bed situation- sheets only. You need to request a comforter which will come the next day and is no thicker than a throw blanket. Staff- RUDE, with exception to 2 bar tenders. If you speak Spanish, expect and already assume you will be categorized as lesser class. If you speak English, good luck getting precisely what you’re asking for. Front lobby- the own hotel’s staff will be trying to sell you timeshares, or vacation/leisure clubs which is the same thing. Perform some research and you’ll see the fine print resembles a timeshare. Food- they have tons of restaurants. Which while reading this review you should already start the reservation process bcuz they’re always filled or booked which left us with the 2 buffet’s. Which were always, absolutely terrible. Long lines to get in. Once you get in you’ll find all meat is cold, undercooked, or mixed together with whatever they wanted to use as a filler. Had access to Sens, the hotel next door but it was just as equally horrible but with nicer flooring and glass work. People who were flooding that place were rambunctious violating almost every rule specifically no speakers in the no speaker areas like bar and pool area. If you are lower than pond scum, socially, and don’t mind over paying for food barn animals wouldn’t eat with a bed to match or just have no shame and like to be fooled and waste your time and money, then ignore this and book now!!! Otherwise, carry on. Take this review for full face value, among the others. This review comes from an individual that never leaves reviews hardly ever and if so they’re of great experiences. This place missed the mark, seismically. Shame on management for allowing all of these critical “all-inclusive” amenities be squandered by lack of attention and commitment to guests.

It was a cool hotel. The buffet restaurants could be better. Overall it was okay
