It is remote, but it is an ideal place to disconnect, it has access to the beach. There are many animals throughout the hotel such as monkeys, iguanas, and it has several rooms to stay in. The hotel has free activities and the instructors are very nice. Very clean bathrooms and a spacious room with a very comfortable bed. The only drawback I would say is that they could bring breakfast forward half an hour since we had to leave early because they were picking us up and we had to have breakfast on the run.

I had a really pleasant experience here! The customer service was really great! The bartenders are lively and it seems like they genuinely enjoy being there. Most of them made really good drinks as well. Theilor, Alejandra, Chris, and Oleman made my husband and I feel really special during our honeymoon trip! My only complaint would be that I do wish there were more nightlife options and activities to do during the day. The demographic is a little older, so being a young adult we were just hoping for a more lively nightlife. Overall good experience! Very relaxing! Everything is in walking distance as well on the resort but there are a lot of stairs and hills. Definitely would stay here again though! Thank you for the good time.
I visited Costa Rica for my birthday. We had an ocean front villa all to ourselves. It was my birthday and the staff decorated my villa with balloons and stings and roses wishing me a happy birthday. The staff and customers service was the best I ever had compared to any other country I been too. They were friendly attentive and so humble.
The hotel was one of my favorites in terms of all-inclusive, but it dropped a lot in level. The food had little variety and really little flavor, as for the cocktails there is less variety and they only use cheap liquor.
I appreciate the room and the treatment of the servers.
I stayed there 3 weeks ago. Very limited and brief welcome at the small counter. No one speaks French. We were given the bracelets and asked to scan the QR codes available if we needed information. We discovered the principles of catering and reservations ourselves (buffet not good despite the lack of choice which would only help to ensure quality). two days before leaving we discovered the entertainment panel!! What a shame not to expose it more visibly!!!!! On the other hand, the archery entertainment was rather disappointing: target with a number written on a sheet and crooked arrows but very kind instructor. We stayed in the magnificent rooms with a view of the ocean..magical moment. Big downside which generates a lot of noise: incessant return trips of large vans to drop off guests at their rooms at any time of the day or night...disappointing when you pay the price to be peaceful during our honeymoon!! However, we met some very kind and helpful staff at the restaurant. It would be much nicer to offer more outings in the surrounding area.

Today we couldn't kayak because of the wind, but we did rifle shooting where María Félix gave us a fun time. Later we took a walk with Melina, a very nice and pleasant girl who made the route very pleasant and interesting for us.
Today we did the rifle shooting activity and Maria Félix made it fun and dynamic. Then we went for a walk to the viewpoint with Melina, a good, friendly and pleasant conversationalist. Afterwards we had dinner at the oriental restaurant and the manager was very friendly and helpful. The truth is that everyone is very professional and overflows with friendliness.
I visited this hotel and I was fascinated especially with the customer service, everyone was super friendly and polite, it has a beautiful beach that allows you to relax and a special mention to the entertainment team who were always very happy to have fun and have excellent day and night activities especially The karaoke and music shows on the terrace are very good, congratulations to the DJ for entertaining the dance nights 100% recommended this beautiful hotel I will return soon.
The entertainment team ("equipo de entretenimiento") offered activities geared to all and, really managed to engage its customers.

The hospitality staff were absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning to this resort. Carla and Melinda were two of the most wonderful, hospitable host I’ve ever been a part of on any of my trips. They actually play volleyball and games with the guests. They were truly wonderful amazing people I made the hotel. Amazing. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna be back next year.
My wife and I were at the hotel from March 11th to the 18th tocelebrate our 62nd wedding anniversary. The grounds are fantastically beautiful. The people that work there are wonderful. The food was very good The terrain there was very hilly and difficult for me to navigate. They loaned me a wheelchair. I am 85 years old. and use a cane. The employees at the hotel are so so nice. The one woman at the hotel that was so nice to me, her name is Azul. She has a desk in the lobby and she is helpful and sweet. This place is not only affordable but amazing! It exceeded our expectations! Rooms were extremely clean and service was EXCELLENT! Luis at front desk and JJ and his crew who handle excursions were nothing short of perfect! The food was delicious everywhere we ate, pools were beautiful, getting transportation, for us, was soooo easy. We just asked the staff for help, and they were very willing to lend a hand. I would 100% recommend this place for any couple looking for a quiet, peaceful, BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, FRIENDLY place to get away. One night, I did have a "run in" with local raccoons,🤣🤣, and security was there within 2 seconds, so even the security was amazing!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
We just came back from our 5 nights stay in this hotel, this is our third Barcelo vacation, the ones from Cabo and Riviera Maya are both 5 star service. The staffs in this location need to be retrained, they work in hospitality industry, but they dont know what is customer service, most of them are rude. And when we started complaining, one of the guy from their tour counter said "then dont come back". YUP, never again.
Disappointing. TV stuck in demo mode, could not change this. No hot water in the three days we were there. Shuttle service was inconsistent and unavailable at times during the day. Front desk was unreachable randomly during day. Food was not great. They only allow dining at the formal restaurant every three nights. No beach. Room was dated looking and has broken items. Not enough towels and they were not soft.

Fantastic resort with everything you want in an all-inclusive. The food is better than other resorts we'd been to. The service has a personal touch. They go out of their way to help you. The resort is situated on a hill so walking is a slight challenge. There is a regular shuttle available to accommodate which is extremely helpful.
