Perfect vacation!
The location, beach, hotel, staff, pools, parties, waterslides, food, and resort grounds exceeded all of our expectations!!
I know there is little professionalism in the staff.
The hotel is very far from the center and it is very difficult to find a pharmacy nearby if necessary.
The food is not up to par with an all-inclusive hotel.
It reminds me of Chinese feeders.
I don't understand how some people leave bad reviews at this place, its the best resort we ever stayed in, service, staff, food, beach, pools, waterpark, room, entertainment, everything was just perfect for us. Spent 8 nights , from 4th till 12th April 2024. We flew from London. Family with 2x little children.
During my stay at RIU DUNAMAR I was literally ROBBED by RIU and its transportation service provider DESTINATION SERVICES since on the return to the Cancun Airport, which was INCLUDED IN THE RESERVATION, the carrier did not show up for us and they do not want to Reimburse the expense we had to make in the taxi to get to the airport.
This is clearly a THEFT, unacceptable from a transnational such as RIU.

The complex is very nice but in the common hallways there was a lot of dirt and old dishes. We have been staying since Wednesday and there are sectors that still remain dirty.
Very good hotel in every way, excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent WIFI throughout the hotel.
They bother with their promotions when entering, they offer gifts to tourists who have just arrived and it is an uncomfortable and confusing situation,
Very attentive attention
Price quality is not worth it. The truth is that there are many things to improve the Hotel. It is a 5-star All Inclusive hotel with 2-star materials. Very cheap alcohol and drinks… The food was quite poorly seasoned and the quality could be better. The hotel's animation also leaves a lot to be desired. Half of the workers are very attentive and respectful, the other half do not serve you or serve you poorly if you do not leave a tip. I can highlight the attention of Ángel and Willy in the adult pool, also of Julian at the Lobby bar. Modern and hygienic rooms and facilities. The beautiful beach. But they should raise the quality of some things due to the price of the hotel.

The hotel is truly a 5 star hotel, everything is in its right place, the room is very comfortable, the restaurants and buffet are impeccable, dreamlike, a wide variety of meals, the staff is very serviceable in every way, ,, everything excellent....
Family oriented hotel with amazing service. Lots of pools and water park was nice. Shaded chairs are nice by the pool. Place your towel on them before 9am and you should be set. The beach is really nice, but waves can be rough depending on the day. The restaurants are good. During spring break there was a wait for them by 7pm until 8pm. So get there early. Otherwise the buffet is solid option for dinner. There are always a ton of options for every meal. Some items taste amazing and some so so. To each their own. Lots of fun activities at night in the theater geared towards families. Only con of the resort is location. Just plan for transportation accordingly to excursions etc.

I wanted to love this resort. The room is spacious, very clean, and the beach is very nice. It's our first night here so obviously we traveled since 5am, there's a party outside until almost midnight that shakes the entire place. My child can't sleep, I cannot sleep and we have an early excursion. Do not stay here if you want to relax. The drive isn't worth it.

DO NOT STAY AT RIU DUNAMAR. My boyfriend and I booked a six-day stay in February. Initially, things were fine, but on the third day, the bartender kept giving us shots, and my boyfriend ended up severely intoxicated and had alcohol poisioning. Despite my frantic calls, the resort doctor took too over 20 minutes to respond, and my boyfriend was unconcsious. Eventually, an ambulance was called, but they mishandled the situation, and my boyfriend was confused and jumped off the ambulance because they wanted to sedate him. The resort falsely accused him of assault, leading to a confrontation where he was unjustly arrested and taken to an undisclosed Mexican prison. I was left alone, forced to navigate a frightening situation. After taking a taxi at night all alone with no help from the resort and scared of possible getting kidnapped I was able to find my boyfriend. RIU DUNAMAR expelled us from the resort and we had to get another hotel. After leaving we discovered we were missing a Gucci sandal and despite contacting the hotel, they denied having it. Overall my boyfriend was drunk for over 10 hours, we believe his drinks were spiked. This experience was utterly traumatic, and I strongly advise against staying at RIU DUNAMAR.
I came here with my husband to celebrate my Birthday. It was the best Birthday of my life! It would take a long time to list all the advantages of this place. But I’ll say it briefly: simply the best! Thanks to all the hotel staff who made my holiday unforgettable, I fell in love with this place!
The hotel is very nice! Excellent service, very far from everything, good option if you don't plan to leave the hotel
The maid didn't make any design with the towels, sometimes forgot to leave us 4 (she only left 2) I had to call twice to get more but in 5 minutes it was sorted. She closed the air conditioning every time she cleaned the room, which was a bit boring because when we came back to the room it was hot, but it's not the end of the world. The room we had (4112) could do with a little updating, not much pressure in the shower, the sink is all cracked, but it was very clean. Unfortunately, we had a group of very partying people a few rooms away from us and it was very late and very noisy, but that can happen in any hotel so I don't hold it against it. Very beautiful beach, entertainment at the swimming pool, lots of chairs, lots of choice at the buffet, and what can we say about Nancy; a PEARL of a waitress. My son & I loved our stay, we would return. Water slides and shows are great
