The best way to get to an all-inclusive in Mazatlán
This is good if you are looking for an all-inclusive on a budget. I was looking for something nicer, and was willing to pay for it, so this hotel isn't for me.
The mariachi band on the beach was stupid loud, and rude to the guests of the Riu.
Being to many Caribbean resort we find this resort one of the best that we have visited. It is big beautiful and well managed and maintained.
CSR Ignacio made our day with providing us with mattress toppers.
I will come back to this resort for sure.
And the historical issues that I had with Sunwing are now resolved.

If your plan is to get to Mexico, get busted to a resort, and then get bust back to the airport, this might be for you… Except for the fact that they advertise having Wi-Fi and in my experience it worked approximately 5% of the time. Wouldn’t normally be an issue except that I planned on getting some work done while abroad and made it next to impossible. The only solution the front desk could offer was to sell me a package of Internet, but if the one I already paid for didn’t work then who’s to say the one I would pay extra for would have worked any better?
I liked a girl who works there but I couldn't ask her number 😪
We are knowledgeable travelers around Mexico and abroad and I have never come across an all-inclusive hotel that will charge you for arriving early and leaving late. This is the first time that they tell me that if you arrive earlier they will not give you the room but they will charge you for arriving early, as if that were not enough I made a mistake in one of my 2 reservations and I had to choose between my elderly mother who was sick and my husband who is a doctor so my husband had to stay somewhere else for one night. I ask permission to let him through I just went to check on my mother and my daughter and they told me no, it could only be the doctor from the agreement, that violates human rights. They want to choose the doctor who cares for my family and here I am without medical attention and very upset, also the The room is extremely dangerous, there are spaces between the cardinals and the stairs, I paid extra for a sea view and you can only see a speck of the sea through a small window, the manager was not friendly and well, here we are surviving, by the way, nowhere 5 stars they already give you towel cards or key cards, that was from the last century, it is very complicated and stressful to be taking care of their little suits, I wish the stay improves a little since by the way we arrived late and they do charge for arriving early but they do not give a discount for arriving Late, overbearing reception staff
A nice place for our family vacation, no shortage of lounge chairs, the staff were great and they made a very decent ceaser drink! Pools were cold and the food was just okay, they say they have a la cartes but they don't. Nice waterslide, beach walking and a couple of casual restaurants a small walk down the beach on either side, overall it was good fun!

The staff treated us very well, the waiters in the restaurants were very friendly, as were those who tended the bars, my only complaint was that sometimes the bathroom smelled of humidity but from then on everything was very good, the food was very delicious, Very nice facilities and everyone very friendly, I would definitely return.

Our first time in Mexico, celebrated my birthday. This resort did not disappoint. Upon entering the room we were greeted with a birthday gift. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was cleaned daily. Our room had two double beds and a pull out couch; family of four were very comfortable. Food was really good; with several buffet options. Multiple pools to choose from. The grounds of the resort and common areas were constantly being cleaned. My only suggestion nightly entertainment can be a liitle more inclusive; it had alot of Mexican elements. There can also be background music playing in the pool areas. The mini bar was never restocked our entire stay. Overall no major complaints.Would definitely stay at the Riu Resorts again.
Very good experience at this hotel very comfortable quality furniture throughout the hotel dedicated and pleasant staff varied food abundant tasteful cleanliness inside and outside impeccable chair at the swimming pools and at the beach available at any time for a price very reasonable this hotel is superb we did not rent a car there
Great customer service all around, friendly staff! Clean faculty, someone is always cleaning, well kept ground and amenities. Great meals for all the buffet! Lots of pools to choose from so it’s not difficult to have a seat by the pool area. Just love it!!!!
Terrible service!!! They give more priority to foreigners, the facilities are good but very far from any Riu in Cancun, Cabos, Vallarta, Playa del Carmen, the people are very despotic and rude, I am very disappointed in this Riu!!!! Cold pools almost frozen, the pool bar too dirty!!! Seriously, don't come, I'm writing this to you today, March 14, 2024, sitting in the lobby!!!!
For a Rui hotel, the rooms are old and they changed floors, they delivered my room late and the television was very small compared to my family's, otherwise the service in restaurants was very attentive, at reception they justified themselves by saying that they had a lot people, I believe that we all deserve the same attention as foreigners
We really enjoyed staying at Emerald Bay from March 5 to 12. Impeccable cleanliness everywhere. Beautiful sands on a beach of several kilometers. Negative points, it has several, which means that I will not return there, including the food (I would have thought I was in Cuba some days). The water slides are impossible to participate in if you have earrings, in my case it was impossible for me to take one off. So I couldn't go. In terms of atmosphere on the beach, 0. The swimming pools are frozen and no one is in them. The AquaForm moments are extremely flat. The shows, always the same thing, dancing. Mediocre Karaoke night...
For the rest, alcohol is good. 5 star service and cleanliness.
