"I stayed at the Riu Palace-PV on a recommendation from Andy with Escapes travel. Thank you ,Thank you Andy.The resort was beautiful, the staff friendly, and the service was impeccable. The rooms were clean and all contained a full bar, fridge and coffee maker. I couldn't ask for anything more. All the restaurants were fabulous. I particularly liked the Crystal restaurant which was a fusion menu.I would highly recommend this resort to ALL my friends." [...]

"I highly recommend the RIU Palace in Peurto Vallarta. My wife and I stayed with our 2 year old for 7 days in mid February 2012. The Hotel is new and very clean. The food was fantastic and the service was very good. We visited the RIU Jalisco and the Vallarta and are very glad we had selected to stay at the Palace as it is smaller, quieter, newer and of overall better quality." [...]

"Garden view room had no view other then a wall from adjacent hotel. Food was appropriate and service was excellent. Beach is well taken care of and the service is excellent. Pool area is very nice and sufficiently large. The entertainment was somewhat amateurish and too late every evening." [...]

"This is our fifteenth trip to Mexico and our sixth time at a Riu resort. This is without a doubt tied for the best resort we have stayed at (the other was the Riu Santa Fe in Cabo). The resort is spotlessly clean, the food in the buffet and other restaurants was excellent. The hotel seemed to be fairly full but we didn't have any problems booking for the restaurants we wanted. The servers around the pool and beach worked very hard and would hardly let your glass get empty. The rest of the staff at the hotel were always very pleasant and friendly. As said in another review this is perhaps not the resort for younger people looking for action, or people with teenagers. They would be better off at the Riu Vallarta as there is more for them to do. For example there is no night club at this hotel. We would definitely go to this resort again." [...]
