"Overall a budget good bang for your buck resort. Excellent staff---decent food----excellent beach/water------fairly clean/maintained facility----family friendly with kids pools & activity's---good working A/C-good plumbing/shower pressure; Only be carefull of items been taken. Stolen small purse @ disco - found the next day without US money & $20Cnd & took blue fugi camera. Why? cannot recharge it without the charger! And left me 200pacos? Watch young lady's "land sharks" lots of them with attitudes and mean business!" [...]

"It was a great week. I have been here before, this time it didn't seem as busy and not all the bar areas were open but it was all good. It was great to get a talapa (sp) on the beach, which we weren't able to last time we were here. Alot of people we met have been coming back for years, it really is a nice place. " [...]

"This is our 4th time to the Royal Decameron with our children ages 4 & 6. There is a reason why this resort has so many returning guests...whether it is the outstanding restaurant/buffet staff (which have become our friends), the great selection of food, the abundance of activities, the talented entertainment & activities staff, the beauty of the beach and landscape...the positives go on and on. Sure it is NOT a 5* resort...the rooms are basic. However, we don't go to Mexico to stay in our room. We have always felt safe with our children there. We will definitely be returning to the Royal Decameron for a 5th time in 2014!!" [...]

"We had an excellent time. The Royal de Cameron really picked it up since last November! The staff as usual were great and the food was especially improved! Now if they would only get a good wine, we would definitely be there more often! lol! We love the cleanliness, the safe feeling at the resort and the close proximity to the local buses--getting to places is so easy on the bus. People are very friendly! Thanks again RDC! We have been here 5 or 6 times and will likely return. " [...]

"An absolutely marvellous place! For the money probably the best deal in Mexico. Yes, it's true there's no alcohol in the drinks. If that's important to you, don't go there. But if you expect clean rooms, clean grounds, good food and friendly staff, the Royal Decameron will provide all of that. " [...]
