AMAZING PLACE TO STAY!!!

Everything about this place was amazing. I was truly impressed and had the best vacation ever. The hotel is very well kept and very clean. All staff are super helpful and friendly. The all-inclusive package truly made for the best experience! Housekeeping cleans your room everyday, making your bed and providing you with extra waters and clean towels. There are activities by the pool all day, and at the neighboring Royal Decameron hotel night club every night. There's so much to do and the vibes are great. We spent most of our time at the bar with D. I would like to give her a shoutout!! Diandra Brown is the best bartender out there. She will go above and beyond to make sure you try everything, have a great time, and keep your drinks full at all times. She was great and the highlight of our trip. She's also very knowledgable about the surrounding areas so if you have any questions, ask her! Rennay also made our experience wonderful. She's a server at the buffet and her outgoing personality and hard work kept us coming! Thank you D, Rennay, and the front desk for everything! We will be coming back :) Ya Mon

Amazing hotel, best staff on the island, nothing is to much trouble, absolutely adore this hotel, everything is perfect and it's 5 mins from the airport

Small hotel near the airport. A little noisy but it didn't affect me. The person who served us at the counter took the trouble to find the right room for our requests despite our late arrival at night. The proximity and access to the other hotel are positive points. The beach and the view of the coast of Montego Bay is breathtaking. Superb sunset. I think this is not the place with young children, the beach gets hollow quickly. The buffet is excellent, several varieties and new dishes every day. I would have liked more Jamaican cuisine. No grill in the buffet. Outdoor BBQ dinner with delicious chicken and jerk meat. The service is disorganized. Sometimes very hard to get utensils and glasses of water. The lack of chairs on the beach should be corrected for a better experience. Clean and comfortable room. Mini fridge with bottles of water, beers and liqueurs. All rooms have a view of the sea. The shows at the theater are interesting. Lacks a little nightlife. The range of cocktails offered are good. Spirits, beers and wines. Basketball court and ping-pong table available. Some salespeople in front of the hotel are insistent. The hipstrip didn't make me feel unsafe. Smile and decline politely they will leave you alone if you are not interested in buying.

Extremely lengthy check-in process even though there were no lines or anyone else waiting. The front office staff appeared incompetent, disorganized, and provided inadequate customer service. They only gave one room key for two guests, and the front desk seemed to be short on keys. Additionally, having to pay tax upon arrival was unexpected and unwelcomed. There was a noticeable lack of customer service and hospitality during check-in. I would advise staying away despite the attractive rate; the service quality is poor. Everything you asked the front desk for, they need a supervisors approval. Please empower your staff to take care of guest needs instead of inconveniencing your guests until the supervisor is on duty. No wash cloth in the room upon checkin. Called front desk twice for washcloth. No blankets in the room or closet. Called front desk and was told they’ll have to go look for one. Feeling so disappointed! Train your staff especially on the evening/night shift. Hire people who understands customer service. I would NOT recommend this hotel or encourage anyone to stay here. Not a good first impression! STAY AWAY! Go elsewhere for quality customer service even if you have to pay a little extra. It’s important to feel good on your vacation!

Wonderful customer service received, amazing team at every department in the hotel, outstanding support system throughout our stay here. Thank you very much to each and every staff member, we very much appreciated it and looking forward to our next visit very soon.❤️💯😍😎🙏🏾

I cannot express the amount of disappointment I felt throughout my trip. It started with getting to this resort everything went well with check in, then we went to find some towels mind you it’s 3:00pm they had run out of towels. Fine, we went to get some food at the snack bar we got hamburgers hotdogs and fries , the woman comes back to our table and says they ran out of hamburgers fine we get the hotdogs and fries the woman comes back and says they ran out of hotdog buns fine she gave them to us with no bun, she brings out the fries they’re not even cooked. At this point we have them the benefit of the doubt. The next day we went to the coffee bar and the woman working was rude no hello no how are you no what can I get you , just gave you a blank stare and rolled her eyes when you wanted more than just a coffee. Later that night same woman the coffee bar closes at 9pm we went at 8:35 and she told us she wasn’t making us coffee because they were closed so we said but it’s not 9pm yet and she said it doesn’t matter because they’re closing now. We were obviously very disappointed. Later that night our stuff got locked in our safe to which it took security 40 minutes to come to our room after we called the front desk twice and I myself went downstairs to find someone to help us, seems like a safety issue and it’s only the black safes that are like this as the front desk and security was not surprised that we had a black safe. The next day at dinner we had three men come up to us and asking to buy us drinks and overall just bothering us. We asked them to leave multiple times to which in return we got the middle finger thrown up at us multiple times and weird hand gestures were also made at us from these strange men. So I got up and started yelling at them to get the f away from us because now they will not leave and are harassing us. No staff came up to us to check on what’s going on I had to go find someone myself, when I did security said “if they didn’t touch you there’s nothing we can do” to which I replied “you want it to get to the point where someone touches us”. I was not happy. Even later that night we had a different guy come up to us saying he had seen what had happened at dinner and told us to be careful going back to our rooms because he had a girl approach him asking if he could walk her back to her room because a group of guys were following her (it was the same guys harassing us at dinner) we were disgusted. Keep in mind the rest of the night yes security was around us but those guys that were bothering us at dinner stayed within a 10 foot distance from us the ENTIRE night, it was appalling. The next day we come to find out from a nice older lady that someone had shoved their way into her room , she managed to get him out but SHOVED HIS WAY INTO HER ROOM?! Are you serious? AND YES IT WAS THE SAME GUYS! She was able to point them out and it was definitely them. Throughout the day these guys were still close to us 80% of the day it was annoying and ruining our trip and now on our way back to our room we had to constantly look over our shoulder. The next day we needed some more towels I went and asked they literally ran out. Also for breakfast lunch dinner it took forever for someone to give you a glass of cutlery or even fill your cup with water. The service overall wasn’t the best but we made friends with 3 very nice and funny bartenders Dale, Andre and Maurice , they definitely made our experience better. On our last day we asked for a late checkout and the woman said we can only let you stay up until 3 or you have to pay more, perfect we thought. Our friends asked to do the same for their room and the woman was very rude every sentence started with ma’am and ended with a huge eye roll so depending on who you asked you got a different answer. Other than all that the beach was beautiful weather was amazing and we made the most out of it regardless of everything that happened.

Beautiful place to go on vacation or relax

The experience at this hotel really left a bad impression given it was our first time in Jamaica. The hotel itself is nice, but very poorly ran. 9 out of every 10 members of the staff you’d encounter (including dining, front desk, and bartenders) were very rude. Dining room staff would glare at you when you would ask for minimal items like silverware, which they never seemed to have on deck. At one point one lady threw the items at us on the table, my family and I were baffled. The buffet food was subpar, carb heavy, unseasoned, and they would run out of food 1.5 hours into breakfast or dinner, I saw so many tourists fighting for scraps. Water and toilet paper were scarce. We constantly had to ask to have more water and toilet paper restocked in our room and front desk staff treated us as if we were inconveniencing them— when water and toilet paper are BASIC human necessities. You could also really feel the tension between tourists and staff members. The majority of those dining room staff and bartenders do the bare minimum and they do it like they despise servicing others. I’m not sure if they either hate their job or they just hate having to service tourists. Looking around the room, especially in the dining area, it was very obvious that there was a huge amount of tension and you would just see other guests constantly shaking their heads, looking downcast, stressed or upset. It was clear this bad experience was shared by numerous guests. At one point we returned to our room after a full day out and our safe box was malfunctioning, when it had been working fine before we left the room— It was very suspicious. Not only this, but when they sent the person to come and repair it, we gave him a tip and he COMPLAINED about the tip we gave him, demanding a higher tip. It was just unbelievable. My family and I pretty much felt like we were at the mercy of these individuals and their poor treatment. We were in a new country, not knowing anyone, or our way around and our stay was already paid for and there was no ability to cancel and go to a different hotel, which if we could have done, we honestly would have. On top of that, you don’t really know how safe you really are. It was distressing and fear inducing. We went into our vacation excited to relax and enjoy our time-off, and honestly left stressed, bummed out, and with a really bad taste in our mouth. Will never return or recommend this hotel or even this chain to anyone. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

The food was good and there was lots of variety. The room was good- clean. I came to here a few years ago, before COVID 19 and the service was excellent with lots of activities to do and servers were very friendly. I saw lots of people tipping constantly. Sure, most people tipped $1.00 ISD but I'm sure that added up for servers in a day! Especially as more people came back for drinks at the bar. Workers seemed generally happy and the entertainers were constantly out- happy and busy doing events. This time that I came around in 2024 the service has really tanked! I had to constantly ask the servers for water for my kiddo because they would overlook him at every meal and not serve him water. Many times, I just gave him my water and then they would give me a water after the fact. In terms of entertainment. We only saw shows late at night and we soon learned that things that were advertised for children were not actually being held. My kiddo really wanted to feed fish and get facepaint on our first day there and NO ONE seem to know about where this would be held. We figured they had advertised it but didn't actually have it on. The Corwall side was not great for service, but from time to time we would get someone very nice to help us at meal time. When we went over to the Royal Decameron side- that was really bad. The one time we went, the lady completely ignored my request for water for my child, then I asked for juice and she ignored me too. Then I asked for a cup of ice as it was very hot. Eventually my kiddo's dad just got up and went to look for ice on his own. I gave my kiddo my water. The servers just seemed very bothered by any of our requests. I was so surprised by how bad the service has gone down. I was told that the hotel was sold to someone else. I wonder if that's why the service is impacted, or is the whole economy around the world so bad that people just feel resentful? Wish they were being owned by the previous owner who actually made this a really good place to stay at before COVID. This place could be SO MUCH MORE and it used to be SO MUCH BETTER! I remember special little perks that made it so magical, like we once had mimosas being served outside while it started to rain, or coconuts being cut and served outside and a fire show in the sand one evening. There was also some guy walking around in stilts that children would think was so cool! I think small perks and some new features would improve this place- such as building a small water park feature for the children would be really cool, some large bubble blowing entertainers, instant sit down massages out in the beach, nail work out and about, hair services ect. They do have a spa- but you have to book it ahead and it's expensive! A funny feature they do have are people going up and down the beach selling weed- hahhha! OMG!

This experience was immaculate
The staff was amazing. The food was so good. Dancing outside with nahzir was so much fun. Ive been to many countries but Andre has to be the best bartender in the world!!!.. Also we had a little problem in our Room but Reid came really fast and fixed it. Everything was wonderful. I will highly recommend my friends and family to stay here.. Great job! 5 Stars.

I enjoyed being there prevents you. That's the staff, the above approach. Yes, requesthey ask a question. They answer it other than the things I specified. And general. Hey, what's a great experience? There was plenty of excursions The saxophone player that you had there well Friday night was great. Great-great. The Mathe management does a great job. In trying to Service the guest.

This experience was awesome!

I found this an amazing establishment for a first trip to Jamaica. I didn't have to worry about anything while on the grounds. The food was delicious/plentiful and the drinks were refreshing! The beach was gorgeous yet could stand some more loungers. The housekeeping was on top of making sure our mini fridge was stocked with our needed drinks. The cafe was quiet and gave me a great wake up atmosphere while drinking my morning coffee. The only thing I would suggest that could be more helpful would be airport shuttle service.

It's not what they describe to you. Excellent beach, very small for the use of the two decamerons.

Advantageous alternative to the all-inclusives of Cuba or the Dominican Republic. Excellent food (even at the buffet, varied), impeccable hygiene. The site is kept clean all day. The staff is courteous. The beach is...wow.

Music is painfully loud. Could not talk in restaurant as music was too loud. Pool Bar played music so loud I could not use the pool. Staff would not turn down music. Will not return due to loud music. Otherwise a good resort.

Beds a lil hard on the back
Some food is limited some days
Service is slow
Excellent entertainment
Beach chairs all reserved by 5 am
Excellent location

ok but for the price really not good

Magnificent place for relaxation...
